This creates a situation where if you accept bitcoin as payment, you might be held responsible for receiving stolen property and have to forfeit the stolen bitcoin. This would make accepting bitcoin risky in away that is not present with conventional currency.

 When a consortium of miners also owns a large portion of coins, they are in no position to dictate anything, because they cannot sell their position or the price will crash before they can liquidate.

 They're also responsible for making sure analysts are on the same page as far as "suspicious activity" because it's broad and vague for a reason. As a result they write rules and procedures as guidelines to try and streamline this really broad definition of suspicious.

 But I do believe that, if looking at both Bitcoin and Ethereum, Ethereum will be able to regain a more stable growth. Ethereum right now has been undergoing some unfortunate issues (such as the hacks) but, in the long term, it looks to fix this and be more adaptable.
