Ethereum Forum / Re: ETH to hold now or not?
« on: December 04, 2018, 02:25:21 PM »
I think this time, it announced that it would be listing Ethereum Classic (ETC) months before the date. This is a game changer that gave investors the opportunity to buy and hold ahead before the prices skyrocket due to the Coinbase influence.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Ethereum is better than Bitcoin?

The potential applications of Ethereum are wide-ranging and run on its platform-specific cryptographic token, Ether. In 2014, Ethereum had launched a pre-sale for ether which received an overwhelming response. Ether is like a vehicle for moving around on the Ethereum platform and is sought by developers looking to develop and run applications inside Ethereum.

Steem - Steemit Forum / Re: Earn on Medium As Well As on Steemit
« on: December 03, 2018, 08:59:19 PM »
I’m going to simplify things as much as possible to help you understand the minimum you need to know to start earning money on Steemit. If you’re like me, you’ll learn more by actually doing. There are lots of complexities built into STEEM to mimic the economic mechanics of the “real world.”

Steem - Steemit Forum / Re: How many STEEM do you have?

I think Steemit allows for currency mining as well, but it’s not the primary way to earn money. Every day, new Steemit currency units that are created by the network and distributed to the people who engage with the site. The more you engage, the more you get.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Why BitCoin is more expensive than ETH?

A third reason would be that Bitcoin more commonly accepted. Bitcoin has become the primary method of payment in some countries while Ether has not. You can actually make purchases with Bitcoin which makes it more useful to most consumers.

Ethereum Forum / Re: ethereum will rise again.

It is not easy to predict the trend of any market, especially for cryptocurrency. However, big moves like major financial institutions seem able to affect the marketplace. The co-founder of Fundstrat, Thomas Lee has said that Ethereum futures will have a negative impact on the price of cryptocurrencies.

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / Re: How do you define popular crypto?
« on: December 01, 2018, 10:11:10 PM »
Altcoins are the various alternative cryptocurrencies that were launched after the massive success achieved by Bitcoin. Literally, the term means alternative coins - that is – other than bitcoins. They were launched as enhanced substitutes of bitcoin with the claims to overcome some or the other pain points of bitcoin.

It is important to note that it is not late to invest in cryptocurrencies. However, the fact is that we can’t invest more in Bitcoin because its price has already touched the sky. That’s why we have to choose the coins whose price is low and will increase in next couple of years.

I think first of all, none is better than the other. I would invest in both. However, do not take your eyes off Ethereum. It holds a very promising future and may eventually reign supreme when it comes to blockchain technology.

Of particular interest was the ability for scientists to use distributed technology in analyzing the troves of data collected by spacecraft. It was also revealed then that future leads would be based on the Ethereum network as well as AI and deep learning technologies.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Should invest in any kind of money
« on: November 27, 2018, 10:48:28 PM »
I think the first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance – either on your own or with the help of a financial professional.  There is no guarantee that you’ll make money from your investments. But if you get the facts about saving and investing and follow through with an intelligent plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your money.

But the fact of the matter is that this bull market won’t last forever. Stock market corrections are a healthy and normal part of the investing process. Data from market analytics firm Yardeni Research shows that there have been 36 corrections in the S&P 500 of at least 10% since 1950. That equates to about one every two years.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Should ripple removed from the crypto???
« on: November 26, 2018, 06:29:24 PM »
I  think short, sharp changes in the bitcoin price are often attributed to either trading bots initiating a buy or sell order that then gets picked up by others, causing a domino effect on the price, or by so-called whales (large holders of a cryptocurrency or another asset) buying or selling a big enough chunk at under or above the current market rate.

Well, the claim is that a decentralised currency is harder to manipulate by any one organisation or bank, since the control over the currency is spread on so many hands, meaning all the miners – and anyone can mine (at least if you can afford a GPU these days). That prevents banks or states from freezing your assets, for instance, which actually has happened, with Julian Assange and WikiLeaks being a prominent example. Such a asset-freezing simply isn’t possible to do to most cryptocurrencies.

I think this has to do with Mr. Sun’s insistence on Tron’s superior features, as compared with Ethereum, and it seems that the cryptosphere has been listening.Tron aims to be the future for web decentralization and content management, but it could also become the future for all new digital assets.
