Tokens/Coins Offerings (ICO, IEO, etc.) / Re: How to known a Scam ICO
« on: February 13, 2019, 07:06:35 AM »
To avoid Scam Projects we must analyze the ICO product, because blockchain technology is the key to some of these ICOs, the key to knowing its legitimacy is to check the project's GitHub repository or other code repository. If a particular ICO declares itself to be an open-source ICO, the code repository must speak for itself, with code updates at least once every two weeks.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: More and more Scam projects
« on: February 13, 2019, 07:03:04 AM »
Indeed, this year is very bad for an investor and bounty hunter so therefore before investing or participating in an ICO Project, check the reviews made by investors on websites like icobench.com, or icorating.com. Customer reviews are good at showing shady projects. This information can save you from becoming a victim of other ICO frauds.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Which is your favourite altcoins in 2019 ?
« on: February 12, 2019, 04:37:08 AM »
The only choose i have is BAT, BAT is the perfect example of an altcoin that comes in with a purpose, identifies a niche in the market, and acts accordingly. The team is highly experienced with very impressive resumes. BAT is advertised as a unit of account between advertisers, publishers, and users. In fact, BAT does not encourage the trading of their tokens on any exchanges (though they’re happy to advertise ALL exchanges who list BAT). Citing the data usage, energy use, and expense that users face for unwanted ads on their mobile devices, the Basic Attention Token White Paper addresses issues we all can relate to. The Brave Browser needs to be mentioned with Basic Attention Token. The Brave browser seamlessly integrates with the BAT token. Blocking trackers and ads that steal your information and sell it to companies who spam your various inboxes, the browser protects you while you surf the web.

I think crypto will not die because WallStreet, Some on Wall Street are trying hard to get in on the cryptocurrency action, but many on Wall Street are still just waiting on the sidelines ignoring the crypto markets. For example, high frequency traders love volatility in markets and the biggest high frequency trading firms have not yet entered the cryptocurrency markets.

Waves Forum / Re: what makes waves unique?
« on: February 11, 2019, 03:28:11 AM »
Waves was designed to address the shortcomings of existing blockchains, with custom token creation and management its number one priority. Whilst there are several blockchain platforms that allow users to create custom tokens, these all have various flaws for mainstream users. Waves offers a number of significant benefits, making blockchain tokenisation a truly grassroots movement:

No smart contracts are required
Anyone can create a token: no programming experience is needed
Consequently, no code audit is required, minimising overheads
No maintenance or monitoring is needed
Tokens can be launched in under a few seconds
It costs just 1 WAVES to launch a new token
Tokens can be traded immediately on Waves’ integrated decentralised exchange

Cryptocurrency is a form of digital money that is designed to be secure and, in many cases, anonymous. It is a currency associated with the internet that uses cryptography, the process of converting legible information into an almost uncrackable code, to track purchases and transfers.

Zcash Forum / Re: What is Zcash?
« on: February 07, 2019, 01:50:25 AM »
Since the dawn of Bitcoin way back 2008, Zcash is one of the latest player on block of cryptocurrencies. Through the years, many altcoins have came out also from any part of the world and that is from Bitcoin inspiration where Zcash is one of them. A large portion of these renditions have attempted to concoct some upper hands opposite bitcoin, and keeping in mind that few have seen premium, many work with a little market capitalization, volumes and flow.
Enter Zcash, a decentralized and open-source digital currency, which looks encouraging. "In the event that Bitcoin resembles http for cash, Zcash is https," is the manner by which it characterizes itself. Zcash offers protection and specific straightforwardness of exchanges.

NEM Forum / Re: what is NEM?
« on: February 06, 2019, 08:20:48 AM »
The NEM project mainly focuses on creating a smart asset blockchain which can effectively perform under a serious workload. Although smart assets issued on a blockchain are nothing new, most public blockchains struggle to make any meaningful impact in this regard. Especially when it comes to applications outside of the cryptocurrency space, most public blockchains are not all that appealing right now. NEM, on the other hand, provides a fundamentally streamlined method of pushing blockchain technology beyond its limits

EOS Forum / Re: What is EOS?
« on: February 06, 2019, 08:18:23 AM »
EOS is a decentralized platform based on blockchain technology.  It is designed to support decentralized applications (dapps) similar to Ethereum in its core functionalities. The aim of EOS is to build a blockchain platform that can process thousands of transactions per second without on-chain transaction costs. Blocks are produced by Block Producers, similar to a miner on Ethereum. When they produce blocks, they are paid by the EOS blockchain itself, removing the fees from the user. The EOS token has a built-in inflation-rate which helps maintain the ecosystem. On the EOS Blockchain, two blocks are produced every second. Only one block producer is guaranteed to create a block at any given point in time. In order to ensure the network is performing at an optimal rate, a block producer that doesn't produce a block within a predefined time slot is temporarily removed from the network.

Monero Forum / Re: What Is Monero?
« on: February 05, 2019, 02:39:35 PM »
Monero (XMR) is a cryptocurrency which focuses on being untraceable and private. Its design differs from Bitcoin’s in a few key ways, but it should be understood as a cryptocurrency similar to Bitcoin – it can be used to buy and sell things, and can be exchanged for other  coins or tokens.
So Monero XMR is a cryptocurrency focused on privacy and anonymity. Bitcoin is actually pseudonymous and BTC transactions are still traceable, but XMR transactions can be fully anonymized like physical cash. It is a fork of Bytecoin, the original privacy coin.
