Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: its sell time or buy more AMPL?
« on: September 02, 2020, 05:17:10 PM »
Not bad to sell at 130% profit.   Don't get greedy and exit with profit.  If you are hesitant whether it will increase or not, you can sell 50% of your holdings at least you had break even and still holding some of your profit.   Just in case it increase or crash, at least you already secured to regain your capital.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: YFI vs BTC
« on: September 02, 2020, 03:47:33 PM »
YFI and BTC are equally mysterious, I don't know where they come from, but the problem of YFI's price being able to go beyond BTC is very surprising, is this just a trend or can last like bitcoin siraja crypto

Well this is for us to see.  I do hope that YFI will stay as it is since I don't want investors to lose their money.  But still I have a feeling that YFI is heavily manipulated and I fear that one day, it will crash leaving lots of investors to suffer heavy financial damage.

Bitcoin is sure best with huge amount transfer since the transaction fee is not based on the amount but rather on the weight of the transaction.  Often times accumulated dust transaction pays higher tx fee than a normal huge amount transaction.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Have you bought anything with bitcoin?
« on: September 02, 2020, 03:42:29 PM »
I did, I bought a frame from a bidding on the other forum.  I also bought subscription with the use of Bitcoin.  Majority of my gadgets are bought in Bitcoin though it went through a third party application since some hope don't accept Bitcoin directly so I have to convert them in fiat and buy the gadget.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project ?
« on: September 02, 2020, 01:01:29 PM »
Many people blame bounty hunters for the dump price. That is not fair. Bounty Hunters only have 1-2% of the total tokens. Certainly will not affect the price significantly.

It will affect the price significantly if there is no buy support on the token.  I have seen several token that has less than 1 BTC buy support.  Imagine selling millions or  hundred of thousands of coins in a market that has not enough buy support?  But, bounty hunter should not be blamed for this.  It is the incompetence of the project developer that kills the project.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: KYC at the end of bounty
« on: September 02, 2020, 12:29:13 PM »
I am into bounties where KYC is required. This actually helps a lot of scammers to stay away from it. I saw projects have been destroyed because of bounty f*cking scammers. What they do is that they sold all their loots once the token/coin gets listed. Even only a small percentage is allocated for the bounty, majority of the immediate sellers are bounty participants.

Lol, can you define what scammer is?  How can a bounty hunter scam a project when he is the one doing the work?  And where is the point of scamming in selling your own token?  It is the right of every holder.  Now you are saying selling your own token is scamming people?  I cannot comprehend your sense of reasoning.

Look at the picture.

Where is scamming in this presentation..

Bounty hunter apply
Bounty hunter is accepted
Bounty hunter do the work
Bounty hunter got paid with token
Bounty hunter sell his own token

and you are thinking that selling his own token is scamming the project?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: John McAfee crypto predictions
« on: September 01, 2020, 11:30:31 PM »
''The crypto money market will become a $ 20 trillion market. By 2021, the US dollar will be only 1 in 5 of today's value. Believe in these numbers." said John McAfee.
Well, John McAfee is a mathematician in another level and has made several predictions based on some analyses and calculated probabilities. In 2021, cryptocurrencies are likely to blossom as the Blockchain technology is being utilized by various sectors each day. The awareness creation has increased significantly over the past few years. Gradually, the fiat will fade and our societies will go cashless and it will be spearheaded by cryptocurrencies.

What do you make of McAfee's predictions?

A joke!  I will never take McAfee's prediction seriously.  After all those incidents that made investors to lose a lot of money, the shillings, and the not so serious predictions about Bitcoin, oh don't forget the eating his **** stunt.  He is just wanted attention, nothing more.

Yearn.finance gains 9.18% within the last 24hrs.So are you thinking to invest in it?

Not a single moment.

YFI has had huge increase in last week. Too much for me to feel comfortable. Only 30000 available but what is reason for increase? Dump coming?

The increase is really fast, possibly many investors are in FOMO and not thinking the possible reversal of market.  I hope price would stay as is and dump won't happen.

its better to buy some eth, i think YFI is good to move till now but i dont take any kind of risk to buy this. i always looking for eth. this green market you can get profit but think is how to control your loss.

Or much better to find another investment that has no issue with transaction fee.

Many people are burdened by the high cost of ETH gas fees. This is very disadvantage to projects using ETH plafforms that have to pay more. If polkadot can be a solution this is good news. we'll see what the future looks like.

Indeed, this might cause people to avoid ETH at all.  There is only one solution to this.  It is for the developer to revamp their tx fee system.   If the developer don't act fast about this problem, they will find their users staying away from ETH to avoid this very high fee.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: KYC at the end of bounty
« on: September 01, 2020, 08:00:20 PM »
This has been one of the pressing issues which needs to be addressed. All bounty managers must state at the start of their Bounty program whether there will be KYC or not. Some KYC requires passport and not every bounty hunter travels across the globe. In the end, most bounty hunters suffer losses as their tokens are not paid to them due to failure of meeting KYC requirements. This is not fair.

Those who changes the rules after the bounty hunter are not to be trusted.  This is the project owners way of minimizing hunters that they have to pay.  It is actually a lame reason to say that it is to minimize multi-accounting.  The job was been done, either it is an alt or not, they (bounty hunter) deliver what is needed and they must be paid with it.  Unless they had stated the KYC from the start, I always consider projects owner that change the rule and implement KYC at the end of the campaign as scammers.

26
Why not, if the payment surpass the transaction fee.  Why does the bounty manager shoulder the gas of the participants reward?  I believe, the gas for reward is charged to the project owner.  It is calculated and added to the fee that the project owner have to pay.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency?
« on: September 01, 2020, 06:45:30 PM »
Not much of fear here, I just review the information about the new crypto and if ever I found it not worthy, I just ignore it even though it is trending.  Besides, when it comes to investment, I always invest what is excess in my budget, so if ever my investment went wrong, it won't affect my family.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Stop blaming bounty hunters
« on: August 31, 2020, 02:57:35 PM »
The purpose of bounty hunters is to earn rewards from cryptocurrency. Once they have accumulated a lot of rewards they will sell them in exchange for money. Their purpose is very ordinary. but it is their bounty hunting that invisibly creates fake coins that many people are fooled
Yes, they are wrong, but we cannot blame all the sins on bounty hunters. we should look back to see if we have enough knowledge and talent in this field

Often times bounty rewards are given months after the ICO is finished.  Aside from that, the allocated fund for bonuty hunters are too little compared to the holdings of the project developers.  I believe that bounty hunter allocation fund is too little to affect the trading of the token unless the token has no buy wall at all.  In short, the token is already idle and has no volume or buy support before bounty hunters sell their holdings the reason for price crash, well the price will crash anyway because of the no demand situation.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin Really Reach $1 Million?
« on: August 31, 2020, 01:39:27 PM »
A Big NO.  It won't reach 1 million dollar.  Bitcoin will become obsolete and replaced by another dominant coin before it reaches that price.  I am just being realistic here, with the slow development of Bitcoin, it is lagging behind and there are several altcoin that is far more superior than BTC tech.
I do not agree with you. No one can beat Bitcoin anymore. Because this coin is great and will remain great forever. So don't jump to that conclusion.

Well, I don't expect everyone to have the same thought.  I respect what you believe but one shouldn't be a fanatic of something because if that happen, one's mind will be clogged and won't see better opportunities in life.  Don't get mistaken, I like Bitcoin but at its current state there are lots of new altcoin that have advance technology.  Being popular does not mean it has the best feature out there.
