FiveBalance has been in the spotlight for a while. But I have a little problem here. The use case sounds kind of, forgive me, iffy. I am sat here trying to figure out how an can help depress depression(forgive the pun). I thought that's why they have shrinks?
The app is a self improvement app. It says aims to target and fight depression and anxiety, not fix or solve. If you are at the point past prevention of depression and are actually clinically diagnosed with clinical depression then you are passed the point of the Fivebalance mobile app and should seek licensed medical help. As you said, that's what shrinks are for. However not all forms of prestaged depression warrants a 400 dollar an hour visit to the Dr. You can be feeling depressed about losing a job, or just want to gain a more active social life. There is where the Fivebalance mobile app can come in handy.
Have you downloaded the app or are you just shooting from the hip?
