Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Just Sharing: Feeling Like This?
« on: January 07, 2022, 03:14:01 PM »

Just want to start the year with some fun...but in a way is also sad because this is quite true with many of us. Take a look below and comment if you think this can also be true with you...as it is with many of us most especially those who are just new to the industry and even with veterans who have not yet mastered the art of trading. Cryptocurrency can be life-changing but can also be a big source of confusion...lol.

No question about this at all. cryptocurrency trading can be a handful and just like you said, even if you are a veteran in the space, this kind of market can shake someone seeing it dip daily and of cause, many have made fortune from trading crypto while not so much for others but at the end of the day, if you are patient enough, you just might mate it.

The market is down a bit at this point of time but it is nothing to be disappointed as volatility is a common thing in any market.  In no time the market will reach its peak level.
True, anytime the market dips people freak out even though we should understand by now that there are two sides to this market up and down. people should understand that it will never go up forever and when the down trend sets in, you should be able to take advantage of that too because we really cannot control that.

Just now on Coingecko, I counted 33 new projects that were just listed there on coingecko and I want to believe all these are new projects coming into the cryptocurrency , market space. I sometimes don't worry much about how many they are but what they are here to offer. Well if there is nothing for the project we know they will die off naturally but the problem would be that investors would lose money but also we have seen new dimensions in the crypto space too like the NFTs and now the talk is also about Metaverse tokens if they have something to offer then no problem.

Welll there is nothing we can do with this red market.. Right, all we can do for now is just to chill and drink some coffee while waiting to recover.  It's good to buy some cheap coins right now.
Well, that is something we can do right now and this is the more reason we should have some extra funds by the side if and when the market dips like this and if you don't have extra funds to put in, then well can all take that hot cup of coffee  :) till it recovers back cos it will.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Wind Energy Is The Future
« on: January 06, 2022, 11:12:47 AM »
To meet the rising energy demands, the world is turning towards renewable energy sources like solar, hydro, geothermal, and more. However, wind energy offers an edge as it is available in abundance, and wind turbines do not need strong winds to function. Next, wind currents are present throughout the day and night, which makes it a strong contender. Finally, in the long run, the cost of producing electricity from wind energy is very low when compared to other alternatives. Windbuoyy has designed an offshore wind turbine that is robust and reliable. This turbine can produce more energy than land-based windmills, and it can be installed in deep seas easily.

Visit https://www.windbuoyy.io, to learn more about the Windbuoyy project.
I agree with you. I believe almost all the renewable energy sources wind will actually be the best if harnessed properly just because of the point you made there, and I think that most governments should really consider this source of energy and I believe we will have less earthly problem with regards to energy production/cumsumption.

From the day I was introduced to cryptocurrency I like it from that day, I have always been a curious person and wanted to know more about what this is and more so that it does bring profit from investing, that was all that I needed to hear and years after I couldn't be happier that I invested in crypto even if it has not made me millions yet but it has been a good ride.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Hunting bounty is it profitable?
« on: January 06, 2022, 10:52:58 AM »
In the year 2017 we saw alot of bounty campaigns in the Altcoinstalk down to the year 2018, that time you can see useful bounty to participate but currently is very difficult to see crypto bounty that's successful, but do you think that bounty hunting is it profitable or not?
Yes, I believe that bounty hunting is still profitable. I am in one BM telegram group which I usually join his bounty and just this money some participants posted about a bounty payment that has been paid in USDT and I think it was a good amount too even though I didn't partake in that one, I have had good payments from his bounty too even up to $900 from a single bounty, you just have to look and maybe follow a particular BM who you have noticed bring good bounties cos that's what I do.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Future Thinking Is The Key To Trade
« on: January 04, 2022, 12:22:37 PM »
A mature advice.... When it comes to trading it is linked with the ability of predictable mind, when someone does not have that type of mind they can't get involved in trading, and I have been looking to traders for long, and they are applying the past graph to future present, but it is not like that, it is a mistake they are making daily without thinking, my advice is that, if you want to be a elite and successful trader you have make future present move and not dragging past into future.
Let me know, if you guys know what I'm talking about you'll understand.
It would have been nice if you would have given us that kind of your "future present move"  ;D so that we can learn from it since you already know what to do. You can never know where you are going if you don't know where you are coming from, so you must understand what the market has been doing in the past for you to know how to handle it, it is called EXPERIENCE and you don't get it by looking into the future but be knowledge from the Past.

Learn something

I hear you :D some people should really learn something. I want to believe the TAs Technical Analysis which is a vital part of Trading is an accumulation or Analysis of past data to create what is able to read likewise movement of the price actions. There is no way the history of the past cannot be useful in understanding the future. The engineers and scientists have made so many mistakes in the past trying to develop a thing that they have used all the experience to come out with the best of what they intended.

Just like you @TomPluz, I don't have any idea about what Voyager is and hows it is used but truly sounds interesting, and would also like to know about it, well any little way investors can make a bit extra on investment is one of the things we are here for so I will be keeping an eye on this thread for further update by OP @Edward Chauvin  ;)

Bitcoin has evolved out successfully to be the most widely accepted cryptocurrency. It can be used directly as payment for goods and services online or through debit card although there are still some merchants yet to accept it. Bitcoin is the only outstanding coin which can be used purchase all other cryptocurrencies.

For some merchants the decision between bitcoin and altcoins is an easy one: just accept a variety of different tokens and call it a day. For others, it comes down to one or the other. As time goes on, it will become clearer which coin or coins come out on top.

From this, it is obvious that now we cannot really say which is best because people and their establishments are different and merchants will go with what they believe will be easier for them in terms of fees and time of transaction.

Famed Economist Doubts Bitcoin Will Become Global Currency

Mohamed El-Erian, chief economic advisor at financial services company Allianz, says that bitcoin is not going to be a global currency and will not replace the U.S. dollar. However, he believes the cryptocurrency will always exist in the ecosystem and will not be regulated out of existence. See more for yourself here.

Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

I totally agree with him and I believe that some of us here of the same opinion. I don't think that the US Government will allow Bitcoin to become the legal tender for her economy rather than the current USD. Even with my layman's economic understanding, this means losing her Economic world power since Bitcoin is decentralized without anyone ownership, it is that simple.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoins joins the bank
« on: January 02, 2022, 05:35:14 PM »
I guess they can't really beat Bitcoin.
Just saw on Reddit where
An old article states dated September 13,2017

"bitcoin is a fraud that will blow up, says JP Morgan Boss"

And now May 12,2020
"JP Morgan Extends Banking services to bitcoin exchanges"

I guess if you can't beat 'em join 'em.

So  i guess as my opinion on bitcoin future will be stable and no coin will take over it.

So whats your insight about this news? What will happen in bitcoin ?

This is what the rest of the people that didn't accept Bitcoin for the years past will still get to as Bitcoin continues to prove its existence in the world financial space and even outperforms some of the other financial sectors, so they will have no choice but to later accept what Bitcoin is even if they are not going to accept it for financial payments.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Why the increase of fake crypto project?
« on: January 01, 2022, 08:37:00 PM »
What can we say is the main reason behind the sudden increase in fake and scam cryptocurrency project I don't know you have been encountered so many airdrop channels were alot of crypto airdrop are been listed and they are succeeding on daily basis and nothing has been done about it, the more the crypto market is growing the more fake and scam coins are growing,is it that nothing can be done to stop scam coins?
I believe no one controls the market entry and exit so you would expect things like this to happen plus we know all of the crypto projects out there are for-profits and close to half the crypto projects are scams, Devs just waiting to take off with investors money after they make enough and this will continue to happen since there is no regulation par say.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Best crypto projects 2021
« on: January 01, 2022, 08:32:18 PM »
In a few hours, 2021 will end (at least in my time zone) and we will begin the new 2022. But before the end of the year I would like to ask this community a question. Of all the projects that have appeared in the industry this year, which of them has caught your attention?. What projects have you invested in and which ones are you going to keep in the long term?. I am curious to know your answers.

It does not matter if you have not invested, if you have participated in bounties and have the coins/tokens, I would also like to know your opinion.

Thank you all!

Quite frankly, this wasn't a direct investment but from a bounty, BP Beyond Protocol and Sovryn were my best crypto engagement from bounty and BNB was my best direct crypto investment. I remember buying BNB when it was around $39 and held it until it hit $600+ Overall, 2021 was a good crypto year and hoping better for 2022  ;)

we know the end of the year the market is always red, maybe this is our chance to buy our favorite coin, and with the hope that next year can provide profits like the previous year, I personally shop for BNB and xlm coins for the end of this year, how about you?
Certainly, it is a good time to buy. Investors are always looking forward to times like that when the market dips for them to buy in and accumulate more but the problem is some people still miss out thinking the market will continue to dip and don't buy in early. Hopefully those that bought the dips will have a better 2022.
