Bitcoin Forum / Re: What if?
« on: February 16, 2024, 03:22:40 PM »
Hmm, TBH first of all this can happen only in the World War crisis, and at the same time, a complete internet outage requires a destruction of our current technology in electricity and in communication devices, if it happens so it can be even rebuilt but in the worth case scenario where no tech exist anymore the digital era will also be dead and on that time our priority will be survival, not the Bitcoins we had.

Also a short term internet outage cant effect Bitcoin's market price really but in pandemic situations things follow another route because at that time money worth nothing in any form weather its digital cash. What matter is humanity and the survival. My words and view is quite similar as Lucius

Bitcoin Forum / Re: LN as a Bitcoin Mixer
« on: February 16, 2024, 02:50:46 PM »
Do you know which privacy-conscious individuals or organizations offer mixing using the Lightning Network?

Hmm, As I've already mentioned it was a topic that triggered me to look into this topic, anyway let me check some of the other data available for relevant queries.

After making some searches what I've found from CHatGPT is the name JoinMarket which allows some kind of coinjoin mixing service on the LN. For the rest, I'll look forward to making some more searches anytime soon.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Sharing what I've experienced and Learned
« on: February 16, 2024, 02:29:54 PM »
Hi community,

In the trading section, TBH it's really hard to find good topics to discuss why ... I don't know and the rate of new topics is too slow, So I want to ask why not If I share some of my already created trading-related guide and other topics which are already available on the Bitcoin talk.

In short, I want to ask about the community is it worth sharing those topics here with some updated information to discuss with a wider community as on bitcoin talk some of my topics are widely discussed and some are not as well at the same time. So we can here discuss those topics again with a new perspective and most of people are not on Bitcointalk. it will boost the intersection and pst quality as well.

Let me know I'll start moving topics from tomorrow if community votes in favour.

also I love that laugh in that NEXT TARGET  ;D ;D

Was just wanna ask if this can make us have 70k this year?

we still have 10 months before it happens so there might be changes sooner.

Hmm, 70k by the end of the year, we can say that it is not over-expectation my optimistic speculation is for 80k+ by the end of the year, as I've mentioned it many times. 10 months is a very long time frame, hold on your breaths fellow market is going to hit many sparks in the coming time, So be careful and don't lose your confidence in the bitcoin.

Haha panic sellar meme are gonna be on fire in some days haha, I'll be posting some of them here as well...

Haha, dont worry they won't learn at least until they get some hits at their own decisions. As Custodial wallet users won't stop using them until they at least get the one-time freezer, Hot wallet users won't stop using them until they lose their precious key assets just because they stored their private key/seed on a computer. For those who still don't own Bitcoins yet they are already in regret because I don't want to rost the broken ones haha..

I started using the Lightning Network over the past 4 months and wanted to know if I wanted to use the Lightning Network as a Bitcoin mixer, what are the correct steps I should take to break the link between my inputs outputs. What wallets should I avoid or wrong settings that should not be made?

Firstly as far as I know LN can provide some level of degree to privacy but it cant be really considered a reliable privacy solution, Mixers are a good solution still they also possess some risks as third third-party service you are using can compromise your data, if they record. On the same time in the Ln, you can have the control of your data, but still as in LN transaction are processed through the channels and by using the multiple channels we can really make it complex for a person to track back your onchain data, as still its onchain so we can really not consider it reliable.

Some of the tips I've found after making some searching on internet are....

Quote
Look for nodes that are run by privacy-conscious individuals or organizations
Quote
Avoid Reusing Payment Channels
Quote
use one wallet for everyday spending and another for more private transactions. This can help prevent linking transactions back to you.

Hmm... Thanks OP as I was also not aware of most of things, your post made me learn a bit and after making some more search on this topic I think it will be helpful for me as well. Lets wait for other users replies as well, maybe some how they can assist you and me more on this topic.

Hmm, Got it..

But I was not supporting the comment of 60k next target I know there will be so many Ups and downs still before the 60k for the new ATH I really cant say anything because of how this month performed I doubt that any of the wordic might fail if Bull's keep pushing things like now.

At the same time, for DCA I would at my current price prefer buying the dips as you know DCA is good in the early Bull market and accumulation zone for now  Dips are a good opportunity in my view. Strong hands never lose.
As you already know, lately Bitcoin price movements have been proven to always increase in price, and there has been no long correction, so it is possible that the next price movement will be a long correction, which might panic traders because Bitcoin price movements should go up and down before touching new ATH.

Nah.. NAhh the current price movement is not a trap at all for the traders and investors, the market is getting high maturity from the Bulls, At the same time what I think is that the price will continue to move forward until the 55k to 57k range with a small consolidation zone and a small correction zone which already covered when BTC hit the first 50k.

Now market is super bullish and this mode will drive more capital flowing into the market. Now people are mentioning some kind of bull break and stuff like that but we need to realize that currently market is not surging based on any hyped news it's the natural capital derivation so there's nothing suspicious.

Hmm, My post is from 11th Feb and from the momentum I was expecting it would touch 50k soon but haha what co-incidence it made it on the very next day.

<...>

Next target is next ATH haha, but in short term there's still time.

As I said in another post, I doubt very much that we will pass the ath before halving, I even doubt that we will pass $60,000. Normally looking at previous cycles we might reach $60,000 or thereabouts but have several ups and downs to start the steep rise months after the halving.

Now we should not get too obsessed, we are in a year that will foreseeably be bullish, but there will be dips in the upward trend. Just keep holding (and buying if you do DCA) and enjoy.

Hmm, Got it..

Bitcoin is currently getting super support from the Bull and so far it can be the month when the bitcoin can breathe through the 50k range to enter a new trend. Some of the important developments are still on the way let's wait for the crypto market to behave. Anyway, I'm quite impressed with the first half of Feb expecting the closing of this year's Feb is gonna be one of the most gained Feb months historically.
It reached 50k already twice mate and now we are assuming that bitcoin will take its next target of 60k and so this will happen in the near future and if this will continue increasing till halving then I can see that we are making an change of season and will have a gaining halving season lol.
this will be the very first time that this will happen.

Hmm, My post is from 11th Feb and from the momentum I was expecting it would touch 50k soon but haha what co-incidence it made it on the very next day.

Well this was not for you, I think I'm also quite active even though I'm not frequently making posts on the forum still, I'm quite active in that I really know the market every hour move except while I'm sleeping. Haha never mind but the next target is not 50k we have many further resistance levels, but we haven't made a full-time break through the 50k you can ay it is a kind of pressure testing.

Next target is next ATH haha, but in short term there's still time.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Between ETH and BTC which one is more preferable?
« on: February 11, 2024, 08:59:45 PM »

I guess that you are new in the crypto space if not you wouldn't sound this way. Amongst all cryptocurrency, bitcoin is the superior, and will remain number one forever. Other cryptocurrency are duplicate of bitcoin including Ether. Bitcoin price movement is what controls the price of other cryptocurrency, which make them inferior to bitcoin. Bitcoin is decentralized, censorship resistance and has a grounded foundation than Bitcoin. Scalability is also another advantage. I don't like the PoS of Ether.

You're right mate, bitcoin is the number one of crypto currency and always remains be number one. Because there is no coins which more popular and has biggest community such as bitcoin. Almost all of crypto will follow bitcoin performance at market. So we shouldn't to compare bitcoin to Ethereum and  ask which more preferable. Of course bitcoin is the best.

Hmm, What OP's intentions were I don't know but I think he was talking about a better opportunity I'm not talking about the reliability here obviously more risk more reward, On that point Bitcoin is too saturated and ETH still has the potential to outperformance in the Bitcoin in terms of gains. When it comes to reliability ETH has no match with BTC but other Altcoins have no match with the ETH so we can say that ETH is also a safe and preferable entry even at the current price.

Haha. I was expecting a taste-changing topic and here it is like really. So firstly I don't expect regularity development for the crypto market at least in my country for the next 5 years and I'm happy with it haha as Op said what's the imposed tax, so no regulation = no tax sounds sinister but need to be greedy for ourself at least sometimes to survive.

Hmm as I said I'm not expecting such development till 5 years due to the political disturbance in the country and if the worldwide regulations happen which sounds hard for now maybe our country will also be pressurized to impose such policies. For now, I'm uncertain about it.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading is not same thing as Gambling
« on: February 11, 2024, 05:24:06 PM »
@Dr.Bitcoin_Strange Your point are just right. Most people do believe that trading is gambling the only scenario trading like gambling is when you don't know what you doing (trading without any proper knowledge). Most newbie thought that trading is all about buying low and selling when the price high they won't bother doing any good research all their aim is looking for coins with high volatility inorder to make quick profits which is wrong and also risky trading not something you just five in without analysing or researching. All you should be concerned on in trading is how to reduce your losses. While gambling depends mainly on pure lucks

Weird, for a newbie, I would say this is the most efficient concept to explain what trading is.. If you are saying some newbies think, let me explain what I want to say. Answer we one thing what the purpose of trading any asset, pair (to gain profit obviously), so what is profit buddy profit is the amount to gain on the base investment which means you bought a coin/asset on X (Low) and sold it at Y (High).

Keep it simple trading = buy low sell high and now in the domain of trading there are many things price action, strategies analysis emotions psychology but still all these terms don't withdraw the real purpose which is profit and what profit is I've explained above.

So don't use a shortcut to explain trading to a newbie that trading is not just buying low and selling high and gambling is xyz.. explain what he knows and further explain whatever you want to in (How to Trade ?) because as I said trading is what newbies say (A concluded concept).  So when it comes to comparing trading vs gambling I can explain with an example because we all know basically what is trading and gambling with this example we can explain the core concept.

Trading is like driving a car in which we start and end position with in journey we have control brakes, acceleration = our analysis, and blah blah everything.

Gambling is like throwing a ball starting and ending with zero control in the journey a discrete value moves based on input + random output.

Haha Hope so you've got the point of this newbie.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin a revolutionary currency?

Bitcoin is a form of digital currency that aims to eliminate the need for central authorities such as banks or governments. Instead, Bitcoin uses blockchain technology to support peer-to-peer transactions between users on a decentralized network.

Source: https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/investing/what-is-bitcoin

Does this mean that Bitcoin is a revolutionary form of digital money?
Is this the reason why some governments don't accept Bitcoin legally?

Well I can say smoothly that this is one of the most recurrently discussed topic on any Bitcoin section, Anyway I think Bitcoin in sometimes really hard to judge as a payment mode, I know I'm going off track but the question OP asked everyone has his/her own exposure to that.

While on the same time in same context proving Bitcoin as payment in the congested network crisis is really hard but Bitcoin was meant to be the decentralized P2P payment mode not just a liquid assets class.
