Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you rely on Crypto Currencies?
« on: January 18, 2022, 11:29:21 AM »
Though I am not a veteran, a few months back I started accepting crypto currencies in my business. Then eventually in a few months I realised that crypto currency has a great potential when I saw a significant increase in conversions on my website just by adding a payment option in crypto currency.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can cryptocurrency do away with fiat?
« on: January 03, 2022, 01:21:40 PM »
Though we can't deny the fact that cryptos are more valuable assets in near future though we should not under estimate the power of fiats , we cant compare USD strength with BTC, fiats have an underlying value but not cryptos!

The means of payment should be fast in transactions and as cheap as possible in transaction costs. Many altcoins already meet these requirements, which is not the case with bitcoin. Therefore, bitcoin is not currently suitable for use as a means of payment. Anyway, for small day-to-day transactions. For the dear ones, you can still use it. But the cryptocurrency continues to develop rapidly and we cannot yet say where this development will lead.

If such is the case then why my clients choose to pay in BTC most of the time, I have seen payments on my capital wallet payment gateway in btc more than any other and I think the reason for this is, people still believe that paying in BTC is more value for money due to its popularity and liquidity. In today’s date too BTC is the most traded crypto as compared to any other altocin though costs associated with btc blockchain is higher than those of the coins which are using ETH network.

This market is really unique in terms of its volatility. So many traders enjoy this and take benefit of making some bucks out of these high and lows.

Will this new blockchain concept introduce the voting mechanism for token holders?

Ohh, after reading this thread, now I can relate why I have most of the payments in my capital wallet in BTC and few in ETH, but can anyone tell me why this gas fee is only associated with ether and not any other coin? Shall I not accept Ether into my business?

Transaction fees can be more expensive or cheaper depending on the congestion of the Ethereum network among other factors, if you want to know more you can read the following article, it is very useful: https://ethereum.org/en/developers/docs/gas/

Accept or not Ethereum in your business is something that only you should decide, you can ask your customers and also add other chains so that they have more variety when making payments.

Thanks for the link buddy, I will read that.

In terms of purchasing goods online, there is a price placed there as a tag, and that will serve at that time when the order was completed, and might be changed immediately with the price of the market.

But actual value of the goods will remain unchanged!

I need to understand about the cryptos more after reading the convos  ::)

Money is the real multiplier for me. Don't let it sit idle.

You are right. Money is valuable when used. Either for shopping with certain benefits or used for investment
Yeah man, keep it circulating.

I agree. Although it is still limited, but it will be the beginning of changing the habits of transacting in the world. Everyone will shift and get used to using crypto.

Seem like this dude, but for now this is decentralized what happen when bitcoins or other major altcoins come under regulation, those will be still virtual but fiat.

Have been reading a lot about the articles where I saw big tech giants are bringing crypto into the payment options. The few ones like Tesla, Starbucks, Paypal. Examples are few here but if we look into the broader picture then no one can stop cryptos from dealing in your daily lives to buy clothes, paying for a coffee or what not. With increasing demand for cryptos, exchanges are also doing the best possible efforts to seamlessly connect both physical assets with virtual currencies.
