Play and Earn with WyndBlast A play-to-earn (P2E) multiplayer cooperative game called WyndBlast was created on the Avalanche blockchain. Although this is the first game set in the Chronica Sola verse, it won't be the last since we have more games in the works that will let players use their progress from earlier games' components.

Gameplay and Teambuilding Players in WyndBlast will have the ability to breed and nurture amazing dragons known as Wynds, hire and educate Mercenaries, craft powerful weapons out of materials they find on the battlefield, and use these weapons in combat with NPCs (PVE) and other players (PVP).

Additionally, players will be able to sell units and weapons in the Market and complete Daily Tasks that grant them CHRO and in-game currency.

ZOA is the Zone of Avoidance's native utility token, with a number of important functions both in and out of the game. Players can gain it through playing the game and destroying AI foes as well as other players, but its utility is meant to keep it in high demand. ZOA is required to purchase in-game products and item upgrades, to craft and spaceship improvements, to purchase ZoA NFTs on their dedicated marketplace, to rent mercenaries from other players, to stake for spectacular token and NFT payouts, and even to vote on the game's future. Overall, ZOA is critical to a player's advancement in an ever-changing game.

Polkadot is a sharded multichain network, which means it can process many transactions on multiple chains at the same time ("parachains"). Scalability is improved by the parallel processing power.

The Substrate framework makes it quick and easy to create custom blockchains, and Substrate blockchains are designed to be easily connected to Polkadot's network. The network is also highly adaptable and flexible, allowing participants to share information and functionality. Polkadot can be automatically upgraded without the need for a fork to add new features or fix bugs.

The network has a sophisticated user-driven governance system in place, with all token holders having a say in how the network is run. Polkadot allows teams to customize their own blockchain governance based on their needs and changing conditions. Nominators, validators, and collators all have different responsibilities in order to help secure and maintain the network and eliminate bad behavior.

Polkadot successfully completed its first parachain auctions at the end of 2021. The Parachain auctions used an unlicensed candle auction system. The winning bid is the highest bid at the time the auction ends at random.

Polkadot gave the first five slots to auction winners Acala, Moonbeam, Astar, Parallel, and Clover. These projects will have their parachain slots locked in for 96 weeks, as collateralized by the DOT bidders. All projects had previously been battle-tested on Polkadot's de facto testnet Kusama, as is customary.
