Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why I don't believe bitcoin can replace gold
« on: February 24, 2023, 06:12:29 AM »
I think whether bitcoin might replace gold or not is irrelevant. Both are to be desired, and one is not better than the other.

17
No. I don't think it will replace the world's currency market. Not now, at least. It might, in the future, though.

18
I think crypto is better because it is less risky.

today as usual I went shopping to my neighbor's shop, to buy groceries, for daily needs.
and when I got to the store I saw the shopkeeper holding a cellphone,
and at that time he immediately asked me and while pointing at his cell phone, and said what ad is this, ma'am? and at that time I immediately smiled, apparently on his cellphone there was an advertisement for an application for buying and selling bitcoin and crypto. and at that time I explained that it was an advertisement for buying and selling bitcoin exchanges. and at that time he asked me what is cryptocurrencies? and I explained to him as best I could that bitcoin is an asset for the future, and we can invest in it, and I also explained that I also invest in cryptocurrencies, and after that he finally got interested in investing in cryptocurrencies, and downloaded the exchange app and he immediately ask to be guided by me to buy cryptocurrencies, and to be honest I'm happy because my neighbors invest in cryptocurrencies just like me..

and I also before he invested, had warned him earlier, that investing in bitcoin is very risky, profit and loss.
and i also suggest to join this forum to learn more about bitcoin.

because honestly I myself am still a beginner. what do you think everything i do
is it wrong or not?

I don't think what you do is wrong, so long as you explain to him the risk involved.

It is up to you whether or not to use vpn. I generally don't. That is just me, though.

Pump & Dump / Re: Cryptocurrency

Some people create new crypto and sell it. Many people buy it and then sell it. That is why the price goes up and then down.

I am fortunate enough to register an account at Binance before it pulls out of Singapore!
I use it for my trading needs!

Basic questions about this forum / Question about link posting...

Is it all right to link to an external site, no referral id.
If so, when can a user post such a link?

Litecoin Forum / I like litecoin!
« on: February 24, 2023, 02:09:54 AM »
Whenever I buy crypto with my credit card, I usually buy litecoin from coinbase, which I will then send to an exchange like Binance or Crypto.com.
The low gas fee kind of attracts me.
Which is why I like litecoin!

25
I don't trade futures, I prefer spot.

Sorting Box / How did you come to find up about cryptocurrencies?
« on: February 24, 2023, 02:01:42 AM »
For me, I first learnt of cryptocurrencies through bitcoins.
At that time, a forum that I am interested to support requires donations in the form of bitcoins.
That introduces me to the world of cryptocurrencies.

What about you?

28
While I agree that altcoins are better alternatives, as compared to bitcoins, I still invest in bitcoins.
Reason:It is to the crypto market what USD is to the forex market.

Crypto gaming (GameFi) / Share your NFT journey!
« on: February 24, 2023, 01:28:26 AM »
I got into waxp NFT through alienworld.
After alienworld, I played with games like farmersworld, centurytrain etc.
Total, I invested US$500 to buy NFTs to play these games.
But I did not make money, rather, I lost money.
Do I regret my choice? No, because I see the money I lost as an experience.
An experience to hopefully, something better one day.

What about you?
