BTC is currently above 52k, imo, you don't need to do much research since we're gearing towards the bull run, Just hold solid alts with good utilities and you'll experience portfolio growth. DYM, SEI, API3 are some of the alts that's on my pf, or before I forget. BGB has also been on 🔥 lately. I think it has smashed ATH multiple times in the last couple months..

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Thoughts about crypto spinning events.
« on: February 13, 2024, 09:44:12 PM »
Let me share this here with you my fellow crypto enthusiasts.

Late last year, I entered an online crypto spin and win contest that my friend had warned me to avoid. He thinks those things are shady and often scam. I signed up anyway just for fun, never expecting to actually win but eventually I did win something.
When I told my friend the news, he got really annoyed. He said those contests can't be trusted and I shouldn't believe I won anything real. I tried explaining it seemed legitimate, I mean, I did my research but he thought I was being reckless.

He asked if I was planning to share my prize with him since he tried protecting me from potential risks. I hadn't thought about that at all, in my mind it was my prize to keep. When I hesitated, he got more frustrated, thinking I was disregarding our friendship.

After the dust settled, we talked it out again. I said I appreciated him looking out for me but I still felt it was my prize to decide what to do with. We don't share money as friends anyway. Eventually he dropped it, but I could tell he was bothered I didn't listen to him in the first place.

What do you think - should I split a contest prize to heal a friendship, even if I solely entered and won? Do you try online spinning promotions or find them too questionable? Let me know your thoughts!
Your friend was looking out for you, online contest can be questionable though, but if you DYOR and you're convinced then ride on. We all have to take calculated risks in this space. To your question I engage in online contest, some I win, while some I'm not that lucky. But the one I win actually gives me a sense of satisfaction. Coincidentally I'm actually looking at one rn, it's hosted by Bitget platform..you may check if it's available in your region..NFA though

How are you preparing for this Valentine season as a crypto buddy? Well, I've kept my eyes on digital assets to craft the perfect celebration for my sweetheart. This year, instead of traditional gifts, I'm opting for experiences and tokens that truly speak to our shared interests and passions.

First on the list is a romantic cruise getaway, equivalent to $5,000 USDT. I envision us sailing away on a dreamy adventure, basking in the ocean breeze and creating memories that will last a lifetime. It's the kind of escape that transcends material gifts and allows us to connect on a deeper level.

To add a playful twist to our celebration, I'm considering the Switch Consoles Delight, valued at $1,000 USDT. We both enjoy gaming, and what better way to level up our love than with the latest consoles? It's a fun addition to our romantic moments, adding an element of excitement and shared enjoyment.

And of course, no Valentine's celebration would be complete without exclusive tokens like BGB and more. These sought-after assets not only add value to our digital portfolio but also amplify the joy of our festivities. It's a modern take on romance that aligns perfectly with our crypto-centric lifestyle, what's your plan for this season?
Haven't really celebrated Valentine in my over 3 decades on earth, but maybe this year will be different. Where's this boat cruise happening, which platform is sponsoring this..

Incentivised Posting / Shill / Re: Why is DYM token rallying?
« on: February 07, 2024, 10:21:36 PM »
Dymension is a home for easily deployable and lightning-fast app-chains called RollApps which allows one to easily deploy own consensus-free blockchain and accrue more token value with greater security.
DYM is the utility token and has recently increased by 38% in the past 24 hours, and like everyone, I was wondering why. Hence, I did a q quick dive into it.

Apparently, the project released its mainnet today, thereby opening the claim period for the DYM token. Over 70 million DYM tokens worth about $390 million will be airdropped to its community members who are qualified for the airdrop distribution.

The token price has been increasing since its listing on exchanges.

What are your thoughts on the potential of this project? Do you believe the recent surge in price is a sign of long-term success, or do you foresee challenges ahead? Let's have your take on this project.
Lots of users for DYM drops just by staking TIA,, But I didn't. Thankfully I got some after irs introduction to Bitget market, with the hype the token has, I think it'll hit double figures in no time.

NFA..

best an investor can protect his digital assets optimally. Please share your experiences and insight with us.
Just like what the first poster said, you are the only person that can keep your funds safe, by keeping them yourself in a self-custody wallet. Like a cold storage and hardware wallet, where only you have the keys to your coins. Exchanges are vulnerable to attack, or they can pull an exit scam, and your funds will be lost. These are the reason why exchanges are not safe for us to keep our coins. See exchange as a marketplace, where you buy and sell, and not as a bank. If you leave your goods that you took to the market, or that you bought from the market in the marketplace and go home, thieves will come and steal them.
You're right in a way though. But some exchanges like the one OP mentioned have taken up ways to strengthen users trust in their platform via certain means like the protection funds.. if a project rugs on dex your funds is gone, but on a cex there's possibility of a refund made possible by these Safu funds OP is talking about. So CEX ain't that bad also, you just have to choose one that' takes investors funds seriously.

I think anything can happen in the crypto space this year, due to the hype from halving and most projects building so as to catch-up with the frenzy. Haven't really heard about DGI, But since it's listed on the cex I interact with, I'll probably check it out and revert.

What's up crypto fam! With 2024 now underway, I'm curious what sectors and trends everyone thinks could catalyze the next big boom for the crypto industry.

In my view, two areas with massive potential are DeFi (decentralized finance) and layer 1 blockchain protocols.

DeFi feels like it's just getting warmed up in bringing traditional financial services on-chain. There are now billions of dollars worth of assets locked in DeFi, but that's still a drop in the bucket of global finance. As blockchain technology improves and DeFi expands into new offerings like derivatives, lending, payments etc. it could absolutely explode.

Meanwhile, competition is heating up between layer 1s like Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, Injective , BNB and Polkadot. As their technology matures and UX improves, layer 1s could graduate from being speculative assets to serious rivals to existing systems. And more real-world usage could create a feedback loop attracting the next wave of crypto adopters.

Of course nobody can predict the future. But DeFi and layer 1s seem well-positioned to drive the next major wave of innovation and adoption that takes crypto firmly into the mainstream. The pieces are falling into place in 2024 for them to ignite and thrive.

What do you all think - could this be the year DeFi and layer 1s cement themselves as integral to the fabric of crypto? Let me know your thoughts on whether they'll drive the next massive bull run!

Meme Coins / Re: Which memecoin has come through for you recently?
« on: February 05, 2024, 11:48:31 AM »
I've only ever had Dogecoin in the meme category, and to be honest, I'm not really into meme coins. I use Dogecoin for transactions on platforms that accept payments using DOGE because the fees are more reasonable. Until now, I still see meme coins as coins based on luck alone, and gambling on these coins can be a bit draining because there are quite a lot of meme coins out there.

I think looking into potential memecoin can do some magic and keep one afloat before the bullrun but of course it's not a financial advise.

How long are we going to focus on magic or miracles? It does happen sometimes, but predicting it isn't easy.
If we buy 10 meme coins and only 3 experience a bullish moment, we're still at a loss. Hoping for 7 miracles in meme coins that fail is a difficult thing to do.

That is why it is essential for you to DYOR...People still get rekt for investing in some altcoins too. I adopted a strategy that has been working for me by buying only memecoins listed on reputable CEX like Bitget and Binance, mostly on Bitget because Binance don't list memecoin early. I checked out their market cap and only invest in those above $50m mcap. The profit may not be too much if it pumped unlike when you invested early on it before making it to the CEX but that will also help to mitigate the risk of loosing your funds. Check all the memecoins I listed above, they are all trading on virtually all the top 10 exchanges. I don't see that as luck but of course, I don't hodl them for long term. I watch out for the dip, grab a decent entry and sell out when it pump again. Easy peasy.
That's true, the first cex you mentioned has a knack for listing memecoins pronto before they go mainstream, giving users an opportunity for early entry. I've got eyes on their memezone for new listings though. But do you think memes on Solana ecosystem will continue to do well? If so for now long..

I've been noticing a lot of talk about API3 recently on X. With Bitcoin being bullish the past few days, it seems like a good time to get into some altcoins. Since API3 is trading on the exchange you mentioned, I'll take a closer look at it. When Bitcoin is rising, interest tends to increase in altcoins, so now may be an opportune time to research and consider investing in projects like API3.

Copy trading as actually help alot of newbie who have half-size knowledge about trading, but still even with copy trading you can still undergo losses because the people that are dropping the signals are humans like us they can actually tell the future of the market but due to analysing it they can only be certain percent sure.

It would be more favourable if you take your time to learn more about trading and how to handle your emotions because we Humans are emotional beings are this emotions can also impact in our trading lives either negatively or positively. But if you can manage those emotions whenever you are trading that is already a step to becoming a pro trader.
Yes copy trading is actually good if you follow the rules, to be an elite trader, you need to be super skilled in your craft. Please OP,  any link to this opportunity?

"Make it Count" marks another year of Messi being a Crypto Face, showcasing a short film collaboration between Messi and Bitget Exchange that highlights their strong two-year partnership. During this period, the exchange entered the Top 5 in trading volume, while Messi, The Goat, secured his first World Cup victory. This two-year bond reflects growth on both sides and illustrates the increasing presence of crypto in the broader community.

The Messi partnership not only garnered interest but also served as a bridge, particularly in Latin America where crypto is viewed as an escape from inflation rates, echoing Messi's connection to Argentina. Such partnerships with influential personalities play a crucial role in introducing crypto to those who may have limited knowledge about it. What are your thoughts on these crypto bonds in general?
I watched the Short movie and I was amazed by the collab and shared values between the exchange and footballing icon Messi.. it's really amazing.

Meme Coins / Re: Are you riding the memecoins wave wisely?
« on: January 27, 2024, 10:03:07 AM »
Sometimes I quite applaud most of the people who work in the world of meme coins. Because they really can and are capable of doing it very well. able to learn it and follow the flow of these meme coins. So many of them are successful in making huge profits from meme coins.

but of course this will not suit all of us. because this is indeed high risk and there is no guarantee that we will continue to get profits from here. So, if we don't understand how to do it well, then just stop, lest we lose our money.

This is why it is very important for one to DYOR. I have made some losses in investing in some memecoin..one example is $UMMA and has also made decent gains from $BONK, $MYRO and $WOJAK. It's quite important for one to invest what they can afford to lose when investing in memecoins but if it turns out good to be profitable, then we celebrate. One strategy I employ to select the memecoin I invest in recently is to look at the Calibre of CEX listing it. Exchanges like Bitget and Binance do carefully select memecoins and research them before listing however, Binance is slow in listing memecoin which could make one not get the desired ROI as compared to exchanges that list them on time.

You make a good point. I agree it's wise to look at exchanges that list promising meme coins early, before they gain widespread popularity. That allows you to get in position early on. For me personally, I'm closely monitoring WIF and Babydragon right now. Catching these types of memes in the early stages on exchanges that support them can provide great opportunities.

I haven't heard of these two memecoins before. Lots of memcoins coming on daily basis. it is a bit difficult to keep up with all of them.

I just tried to look them up in Coinmarketcap. apparently there are 3 memecoins listed named BabyDragon, and all of them are worthless. and $WIF while have  higher price. their website didn't impress me.
I think I need to look them in more deeply to understand them. will try to do that later if got enough time.
WIF is a Solana memecoin, while Babydragon is on BSC chain. I use Bitget memezone to keep up with latest memecoin that are making waves.

Solana Forum / Re: Which Solana Projects Are You Keeping an Eye On?
« on: January 24, 2024, 08:14:57 AM »
Just curious, guys. What projects have caught your attention on Solana lately? It seems like there's a lot of exciting stuff happening on this chain, most of which I'm not aware of.
The Solana ecosystem has grown very quickly over the past year thanks to the increase in price of the SOL token. We have many new projects but honestly I don't have enough time to research and invest in new tokens, I only monitor and invest in the native token SOL. Besides SOL, when checking Solana Ecosystem , I only noticed Helium - a decentralized wireless IoT network. Some old projects from previous cycles like Serum and Ray are also potential but recently they haven't been mentioned much.

I believe that native token will always receive cash flow and growth first, then the rest of the tokens in ecosystem will grow as well because of better promotion and more users in the bullrun 💪💪💪

AMU is like the first yield platform with inbuilt security and other features, like you said, given Solana has high traction at the moment, the project is likely to do well. Just discovered they had Airdrop distribution recently and I missed it, but I think I'll use this candybomb opportunity as an entry point

Meme Coins / Re: $SMILEY for ERC-20 Memecoins
« on: January 24, 2024, 07:58:52 AM »
The memecoins were born in this network and were the top gainers, SHIB, and $PEPE (for example). $SMILEY is here with a great community and solid tokenomics with 66% For participants and the rest for liquidity. What do you think about it? Do you have a better memecoin right now?
I just checked a bit, this memecoin has had a strong increase in price and is correcting a bit, just down 80% from the peak 😂 The price chart on Dextools makes me worry a little about the future of this memecoin.

In addition, I couldn't find many articles talking about SMILE token, I don't have enough information to trust my money to a memecoin. BTC halving is approaching and bullrun will take place soon, I think I should focus on BTC and top Altcoins instead of hundreds of memecoins in the market.
While you're at it you can also DYOR on Baby dragon, the community is supportive and it'll be introduced to Bitget spot soon. Which is predicted to drive exposure and liquidity for this token
