Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble with your full money.
« on: December 31, 2023, 08:48:11 PM »
I can not sympathize with your friend for his foolishness action. Budgeting and setting aside money for essentials like food and bills is very critical. It's never a good idea to gamble with money that's needed for basic necessities. When you play without caution, you face the consequences that follows. You should keep an eye on him because he might be tempted to try to win back the money he lost but that can often lead to bigger losses if care is not taken.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin

Will bitcoin ever go down that I can afford it
Because how I can see it bitcoin won’t go down easily
But I know if it go down I will buy it  ;)

This is another form of saying you're not ready to buy and hold bitcoin. You don't need to wait for bitcoin to get down low in price before you buy. You may wait forever if that's your plan because bitcoin is unlikely to drop low that average person with less income can be able to afford a complete piece.

Just use what you have at the moment to acquire the little you can because waiting for price to come down low might not happen soon and you will later regret for not taking the bold step to start buying now.

i'll work on simplifying some aspects , hopefully this weekend or the next
Nice to hear that. Many things need to put together before the real traffic will come next. I really like your activeness in the forum. And every user of the forum has a rule to play for the smooth run of the forum. Mostly obeying the rules and asking questions.

Honestly, it worth to commend the level of activeness of the admins here. Having active and responsive admins will definitely contribute to the growth of that industry or company. My experience with the admin here was very smooth and I other forums and especially our other crypto related platforms such as exchanges to emulate it and make things easier for the users.

5 high-paying IT jobs that do not require a degree

Would appreciate your opinion about this
Actually, many jobs in the IT field focus more on skills and experience rather than formal education. If you can demonstrate that you have the technical skills and knowledge needed for a job and you have a strong portfolio of projects or work experience, you may not need a degree. So, it's definitely possible to have a successful career in IT without a degree but it's also important to have a solid understanding of the fundamentals and that's one reason why taking classes or earning certifications can be helpful.

The best thing is to be patient, the forum isn't yet as active compared to btt. with time. I'm guessing before early 2024, we might be having more expert joining us, from btt and they might just be willing to help out with some of the other cool add-ons and bots we have over there. So for now, let's use the forum the way it is because it's not Bitcoin talk, it's Altcoinstalk and if you noticed very well, the @admin is doing his best to make sure everyone is attended to.

I disagree with you on the part you said this forum is not active compared to BTT. This forum is much active but unfortunately lot of us find it hard to be active here thou there are still few people who are frequently active in both forums. Seriously, I will also commend the admin for the hard work and effort putting in place to make things perfect. I was responded to very swiftly yesterday and my issue resolved without taking much time. I believe things will turn around very soon but we definitely need such bot.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: wanna invest in Bitcoin, the best time is now
« on: December 13, 2023, 08:50:59 PM »
In the volatile world of Bitcoin, timing is crucial. With Bitcoin's recent surge and subsequent dip, now presents a compelling opportunity to enter the market. Waiting might mean missing out on potential gains, especially considering the likelihood of more bullish movements in the coming year 2024. The time to invest in Bitcoin is now you should seize the moment. ;D

Yes, timing is crucial but I think knowledge is more paramount. It's a suicidal mission to follow the crowd to invest in Bitcoin because you hear about the bull run when you have no knowledge about how bitcoin works and the risks associated with it. To everyone out there who have no knowledge about bitcoin, don't pressurize yourself but rather take your time to get knowledge about bitcoin before thinking of investing. There's no time you're late to invest but don't hesitate to do as early as you can.

The recent surge in Bitcoin's value can be linked to a few key factors. Firstly, it's connected to the optimistic remarks made by U.S. central bankers and the increasing optimism about the potential approval of a Bitcoin spot ETF. Additionally, traders seem more positive about an upcoming rally. Recent reports have shown a withdrawal of 37,000 BTC by holders in the latter part of November, suggesting they're choosing to directly secure their tokens.

Furthermore, there's anticipation in the market for a potential interest rate cut in the next year. This anticipation follows statements from FED chairman Jerome Powell, hinting that interest rates might be in a restrictive phase, influencing various markets. Alongside this, traders are actively participating in bullish option strategies, making significant long trades, and predicting a price surge to $45,000 before the year ends. These actions indicate growing confidence and high expectations, potentially contributing to further upward movement in Bitcoin's price.

What's your opinion on BTC Price
This is not longer surprising and yes perhaps, these are definitely major factors that have contributed to Bitcoin's recent price surge. The possibility of a Bitcoin spot ETF has been on investors' radar for quite some time now and the potential for approval could lead to a significant increase in demand for Bitcoin. Moreover, the comments made by U.S. central bankers have helped to ease investor concerns about the potential for regulation which has also been a significant factor in the recent price movement. We are watching as we keep on approaching the halving in few months.
