Actually, many jobs in the IT field focus more on skills and experience rather than formal education. If you can demonstrate that you have the technical skills and knowledge needed for a job and you have a strong portfolio of projects or work experience, you may not need a degree. So, it's definitely possible to have a successful career in IT without a degree but it's also important to have a solid understanding of the fundamentals and that's one reason why taking classes or earning certifications can be helpful.

The best thing is to be patient, the forum isn't yet as active compared to btt. with time. I disagree with you on the part you said this forum is not active compared to BTT. This forum is much active but unfortunately lot of us find it hard to be active here thou there are still few people who are frequently active in both forums.
