Forum related / Re: Badges that encourage spamming the forum..
« on: May 06, 2024, 10:47:29 PM »
I had seen posters create even 100 posts once in a while that doesn't comes under the category of spam and as said badges doesn't give us any incentive so one who wants to get has no other reason apart from achieving it to add into their list.

But I am keeping an eye on the one badge that no one had yet which is never sleep. What's the required for that? :D

Legality & Taxation of Cryptos / Re: Crypto nomads and taxation
« on: May 03, 2024, 08:44:02 PM »
Where do I live not any specific taxes for cryptos yet but it still comes under the income tax for sure, so I report them and make it as low as possible so that I can pay zero taxes while still holding the crypto with occasionally cashing out profits but not sure how things will turn out in future whether there will be even cryptos transactions will be considered as taxable or has to pay only on the capital gains or whatever, have to wait.

obviously and as such it is not trivial to do
you have to study and you have to gain experience and this takes a lot of time, both to study and to do tests without losing money
consequently it's not something I can do
I don't have time or money to invest in this profession and consequently I don't trade
It is a risk that traders who trade will definitely experience losses in several ways. This can also be used as an important lesson so that in the future we don't make the same mistake many times.

Not repeating the mistake doesn't mean you will be on the profitable side, you still can be on the loss cause the price is affected due to different factors and the volatility nature just add more fuel to anything that we do before even we realize what is happening.

I see cryptos as an investment and as well a tool that has the magic to bring the decentralization which was never been in our hands for centuries.

this is a posting limitation to decrease posts bursting

Maybe you are posting too fast with a matter seconds gap?

I haven't posted any posts in that 25-second time frame, probably over 5 minutes cause I was replying to a comment or doing something then when I hit the post, this was the result. Not sure I can check out my Iplogs here to make sure no one other than me has access to the account here.

So as an individual how do you plan to have a secured job considering that every job is at risk?
I think what's best is to invest in getting new knowledge on what's the trend and possible trend in the future. Have a vision or a choice of something you can learn that will still be needed even if most of the jobs are being replaced with AI. An expertise where a human intervention is always needed, that a bot can't do as it needs on-the-spot decision making.

Technically correct approach but lot of practical difficulties to be honest, imagine you are working in a sector that all you know for years which may suddenly replaced by AI and now you go on and pursue a completely different skill that even may face the similar problems in the next few years. As of now it's kind of confused state whether the AGI and ASI concept will become real but if we are evolving at this rate then it won't take more than couple of decades Max to see a complete transition that we never expected.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: High fees is a never ending story?
« on: May 03, 2024, 03:25:17 AM »

The Runes can be the problem in the next bullrun. I have not seen the fee rate gone up to 2000 sat/vbyte before. I do not think that has happen before in history of bitcoin. If Runes hype come again, it will be another network spamming.

AFAIK, in 2018 we had a similar period when the fee went crazy like 500sat/vb for a little longer than what we had witnessed after this halving but over 1200sat/vb is the first time ever.

The inscriptions should be moved to Layer to or else this high fee and congestion will never come to an end, we have to remember this much of congestion is just only dew to a few projects, imagine everyone going after brc20 projects due to this success?

That would lead to total mess.

the answer is simple for me  , try not to be an employee but try to built your own business/company so from this you will never be off against AI/Robots because you are now the boss and will serve your client.
this is the sad reality of development that we are now leaning towards technology and the human skills is slowly dying , because we are now fond of high or speed result than the traditional one.

Being your own boss doesn't eradicate the root cause here, let's assume someone working in a bakery and mastered baking now thinks in the future a robot could take his job and go out and start his bakery but still, the machines are going to make things to more perfection than an actual human with negligible maintenance cost than paying salary so as a business owner we can run the bakery with little to no profits if we decided to compete against the evolution.

I don't think it's due to traffic, although I don't know the load on the server and the database, all the pages load quickly and personally don't have any problems of that type. I have faced that error before, but quite a while ago. Anyway, I'll tell the admin to check this thread and tell us what the problem could be.

Thank you for the report.

I am not having any issues while loading the pages or any of that kind, it's very sleek but this problem occred only while submitting the post and the same way of the error " you already submitted this post", I need to close the tab and post it again to get rid of this bug that made me thing overload is causing this kind of bugs.

Anyone faced this issue?, probably I faced this couple of times already and I decided to report cause this is actually due to bug since I am not logged in at the moment on any other device nor connected via proxy network.

Is this due to also increase in the traffic?

I will check this weekend to how cheap it could be.

Already the fee went down 16sat/vb and that could be the cheapest for near term cause there is much TXs that left below this rate which makes it not really possible to go beyond this fee rate at the moment.

But definitely 16sat is a lot cheaper and congestion due to runes cleared pretty quick than expected.

I also may want to liquidate it one day and can not seem to find a USA based exchange that will let me trade it.

https://www.coinbase.com/converter/grin/usd

Coinbase have option to trade Grin for USD, not sure is there any crypto pairs available at the moment on any other US based exchange.

Definitely coinbase can be trusted with even huge volume to convert.

The dip this week made me realise that I've been too narrow-minded in my dealings in this industry. For the past coupled weeks, I had been so fixated on trading and trying to find the next good pump that I overexposed myself and take heavy hits whenever dips happen. This week'sdip hit harder than others, and lessons have been learned. Now it's time for me to try my hands and luck in other areas while I wait for a correction. For the first time in a while, I'm in search of random events, contests and campaigns hosted by any reputable companies. I'd be happy if you could share some here.

It's good that you learned your lesson but next time you can save your capital from liquidation by using stop loss that is available on every platform. Learn more about using them effectively according to your trading strategies might help you in your trading as well.

I wouldn't be recommending for now to make money via signature that requires time to grow your account, you can find other free tasks or even platforms like fiverr where you can do some jobs and get some money.

Almost every tech giant cuts off their employees a lot to cut down their operational costs and this resulted in the emergence of AI which swapped the requirement of an actual human needed for the task and the trend will likely follow in the coming years too.

The condition remains the same in every field, an exception could be the medical field.

So as an individual how do you plan to have a secured job considering that every job is at risk?

Gambling discussion / Re: Do People Change Their Preferred Casino?
« on: May 01, 2024, 09:18:10 PM »
Yes for sure, but not for a bonus or any other financial gains but only to try my luck cause changing the platform might change the luck factors too (just superstition though).

Talking about others, I guess so and everyone has their reasons for doing, for some they want to try their luck as myself and many just want to claim bonus that's heavy in new casinos and for newly registered users and others pick casino simply for better gambling experience if they are not satisfied where they are currently betting regularly.
