If you look at the last ATH in 2021, ethereum was able to make a really good achievement at a price of $4,891. After that, it experienced a prolonged correction with a price that was quite worrying at a price below $1K and only experienced an increase a few months ago, and now the price has started to improve to around $2,610.
Usually, ethereum will always accompany the movement of bitcoin. If,  in the halving era, bitcoin can improve quickly, there is no doubt that it will also have an impact on ethereum. But whether it will be able to pass the last ATH at the end of 2024, of course, will be seen by Ethereum's ability to continue moving and investors continuing to compete to continue buying and holding until the highest achievement in 2025.

Wow! That crazy cause I never actually knew ETH have achieved such height before that's the price reaching $4800k before because am not that interested in the price of ethereum am a bit skeptical  when it comes to most altcoin although am well aware that ethereum is one of few altcoin which have gotten a name for itself in the cryptocurrency market. But what I can say about the price of ethereum hitting $5000k is that I don't see a possibility but I might be wrong who knows but am just sighting my own speculation.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Who is HODLing?
« on: April 10, 2024, 08:57:28 PM »
It's good to say that i'm holding again from buying in 61k-ish after the dump happens last time with of course profit from holding too. I have my target but 100k is too much to hold for that it will take too much time before it happen. Well, the higher the price and the earlier it happens is the better for majority.

It took Bitcoin half a year to double the price. So far it does not look like the price is going to drop any lower, so it might take 6-12 month to get to $100k if everything stays the same. But I am interested in other thing. Some of you have posted here that they are holding until prices goes to $100-150k. Then what? Are you planning to sell all of the holdings? Or you will keep holding, because you get used to only to accumulate and not trade or sell, plus greed factor turns on. If the price went to $150k, why would not it continue growing and me continue holding?
The thing is that there is great expectation on the price to actually drop dramatically when we have achieved that amount and that's why the mentality to sell when the price reaches $150k or 100k is strongly stipulated in the minds of most investors.  Well I wouldn't say am left out but I strongly believe that the bear market will come again and I wouldn't want to have my holdings go back down so I think its better to sell and wait for the dip then start buying once more.

General Discussion / Re: How can I be successful?
« on: April 10, 2024, 08:48:48 PM »
Success is an process not an end point. It is about developing, learning from errors, and finding satisfaction throughout every step of the way. For me, here are the things you should do if you want to be successful:

1. Associate yourself with optimism: Try to dedicate time with other people who motivate you and support what you want in life. Bad people can bring you down.
2. Apply appreciation: Being appreciative for what you've got can assist you observe the good aspects of your life and value the experience that you had.
3. Be able to change: change is unavoidable and so be steadfast. All of this can be extremely helpful if you are dedicated to achievement.
These are some good points you stated and I think the one am well familiar with will be the one about mingling with creative mindsets to actually be in thoughts with creative things and idea, I strongly believe in the saying that goes show me your friends and I will tell you exactly who you are. Rolling with people who are business will do you a very good favor as your thinking will open and expose to only business ideas and how to be successful.

I used the Demo Account at the beginning of the learning journey, but over time the psychological factor becomes important in the market, and sometimes a small loss is much better than trying to avoid a loss, as it teaches you to think better, while in the Demo Account, the zero loss makes your application of the strategy give less good results compared to what You will get it when you trade.
Demo Account is good for beginners and for those who trade from time to time, but for those who want to trade on a daily or weekly basis, it is better to try it directly in your account, even if you achieve losses.
You would be surprised what trading on a demo account can do to a newbie trader and I speak this out of my own personal experience.  Before now trading has been one of the talks of area in my locality,  I mean everyone was practically Bragging on how easy to trade on synthetic can really be but unknown to me that the profits and trade sessions in my demo can just be a lure in to the actual main thing when trading with main accounts.  It was really scary for me because the huge profit I made with my demo account was all just a mirage because the money I later lost was fucking crazy when I decided to try out my real account.

Of course, there is nobody that is having a higher advantage than the other, because it was a 3-3 draw. Etihad stadium would determine who will be the winner of the quarter finals. However, Manchester City can say that they have more advantage of winning the match than Real Madrid, because they are playing at home. Both clubs played impressively, but I never expected much goals in the match.
With the level of quality that both team showed the winner of the game will not be determined by the home and away advantage but by the team with the best strategy and tactics. Six goals were recorded in the game, that's a huge record, which proofs that the attackers from the two teams are sound. Real Madrid will plan to do in Etihad what Manchester City came to do in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, just as Arsenal will be planning a raid in Germany.

Manchester City played well without KDB, I am certain that Pep will introduce KDB for the second leg, he can be the difference.
Well am still a believer of what the home team crowd can do and I still stand strongly corrected that the home team fans at the Etihad might also offer an edge over the likes of their opponent come the return leg of this fixture.  Manchester City have really done well by not losing in the first place so the heat will be on Madrid to simulate what their opponent did at the bernabue of which I strongly believe they can also do because of the vibrant and attacking nature of their team.

I'm not sure have seen any of their Avatar, well not very active there currently so might be possible.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: DCA vs Smart DCA, what do you choose? 01719
« on: April 10, 2024, 12:01:58 AM »
That is why I always prefer the traditional DCA thing because it will just complicate if I had to use another strategy that I am not familiar with. I want a less stress investment that is why I chose to DCA so other than that I should make an intensive research before using so I won't end up doing it wrong.

Same here. I am not a person who can do a lot of research about the market movement. DCA is for people who do not understand or cannot predict the market well, they can easily use DCA to continue investing without doing too much research. If you are sure that you want to invest in Bitcoin, that is the only thing you should be sure of from your side.

I don't have time to check the chart and wait for a dip market and place an order. If I want to invest in Bitcoin, I will surely choose classic DCA and invest. But for now, I am not doing it. My Signature payment is doing the DCA well for me.
exactly normal DCA is more preferable to me , I don't have to analyse the market before buying all I just have to do is keep purchasing more Bitcoin either weekly or monthly, and just as you said our campaign has been playing a nice role in that area . For those that are new to this space they should just stick with regular DCAing . To avoid any form of complexity.
Simplicity at its highest. The normal DCA strategy is what every Bitcoin enthusiast that don't needs too much stress would resort to. The act of buying small amount of Bitcoin on a steady without much calculation and watch over the market price is the simplest way to avoid any unnecessary situations and agitation over the price of the market because some persons can get really skeptical when their start observing changes in the market and can even make them resort to wrong choices so sticking with the DCA strategy that's well planned is probably best for both newbie and professional investor.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Keeping your seed phrase safe
« on: April 09, 2024, 11:41:33 PM »
The crypto space is all about security and most especially when you relate it to your wallet, the only way I feel any crypto enthusiast should be losing with his or her seed phrase is when that particular user lacks the knowledge on the important of keeping his or her seed phrase safe. For me I always relate the seed phrase to the actual keys to the account but the reason why the seed phrase is so much delicate is that if the seed phrase is lost the possibility of you getting access to your slim is almost impossible.

If City played against a weaker team this time around so that they could face a harder opponent later on the season when the schedule is less compact, they may had a chance, and to be fair they are Manchester City so they always have a chance. But looking at the current moment, even without a proper striker, I feel like Real Madrid has a better chance. Give City a break before the game and you will see their best, but they are going to play their third game within a week or something when they play against Madrid, which is a lot and I fear that they may not be at their best on the long run.

Yep. Real Madrid was fortunate because they acted as hosts in the first leg. Apart from the home advantage, Real Madrid had a longer preparation time than City in this match.
And Real Madrid also has a better record against Manchester City when competing at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Los Galacticos has won three of five meetings at the Santiago Bernabeu since the 2012/13 season.
Even at that real Madrid still tried and getting the draw is still not as bad as losing at home to Manchester city because when they get to Etihad stadium, the standard will be up and the they would need a straight win for them to qualify, I know even now a win is needed but at least the two teams are going to be the ones fighting for the win . From Manchester city point of view, they really out did themselves and played exceedingly well and with this results the pressure is now on real Madrid.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Invest & Hodl Bitcoin!!
« on: April 09, 2024, 11:16:08 PM »
Developers and Miner's don't they love touching real money how sure are we if those people have not sold their bitcoin till date.

I'm not saying miners didn't sell Bitcoin but because they have Bitcoin frequently as they find block and confirm transaction, they make Bitcoin from block rewards and also from Bitcoin transaction, so even if they sold it wouldn't be everything, they will have some coins with them they would still be holding even as they are spending.

As for developers, they will definitely spend too but back in the early days they have much allocation of Bitcoin that was coming from the community and also from individuals that voluntarily give them bitcoin and also get some from organization for making sure that Bitcoin is working properly. So it is possible that they have some Bitcoin they are still holding.

Yes this is true, they are holding but with fast rising in price could get them tempted to have sold some of their holdings if I could remember when bitcoin hit the price of $73k some of them could sell off and what for their next mining rewards.
Sincerely speaking holding bitcoin is the most difficult task to currently since the price is at a high rising side.
some actual holder actually place a particular amount that the price would reach before ever they can consider to actually sell off their coins and that's what makes them stand out from the massive crowd that's dependent on little increase and boom they rush to sell off. Before now I never knew that they were some particular holders that could hold their coins for more than even a decade and those are the real true holder.

Gambling discussion / Re: The Madness of Gambling Addicts.
« on: April 09, 2024, 11:02:50 PM »
Yeah, this is one dangers of gambling and we all know that, even worst, gamblers may take their life after losing.

Quote
A gambler was making as many as 100 bets a day online and had previously accumulated £18,000 in debts before he took his own life, the first inquest of its kind has heard.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/jun/14/father-of-two-luke-ashton-suicide-was-preceded-by-gambling-sprees-coroner-told

Everyone is really vulnerable, and we really need to take hold of our life before things get out of hand and we made decisions that we might regret later or decisions that will haunt our families.
So many people aren't really aware of the danger that an addicted act in gambling can cause and that's why many people still indulge themselves so deeply forgetting that the act is really crazy and anyone who puts his whole mind on it can actually get hurt and might even regret.the actual first step he took in ever knowing about gambling.

Gambling had alot of addict that have lost their life to the course of actual chasing over their loses and believe you definitely don't want to be at the end of the opposite results when it comes to Gambling and chasing of winning.

Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling be a career?
« on: April 09, 2024, 10:50:11 PM »
Gambling has been a lucrative business for the betting companies, and most gamblers think that gambling is an easy way for them to make money .
The questions is:can gambling be a career? Gambling can be a career, base on experience and luck for most gamblers, the likes of Dan Bilzerian, and Matthew Benham, they have several ventures going on, but they are predominantly known as career gamblers.
So for me gambling can be a career for few gamblers. That's my opinion, let's get your opinion on this matter.
For starters , I wonder what type of person would even call or think that gambling can be a career although to be frank I have seen many videos on social media that people or folks are actually claiming that there jobs is actually profession but I don't take those as anything because gambling is something that's based on probability and you can't be living off such thought.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Cryptocurrency good or bad for loan?
« on: April 08, 2024, 10:36:03 PM »
While investing in crypto, many people take loans from banks, but later they have to face difficulties in repaying the loans if there is a loss. How much crypto is needed to manage social life and can it be the only dependent income source of your life?
For me I think the only cryptocurrency that's worth buying or taking loan to invest is probably Bitcoin and even that should be calculated before ever trying it and when I mean calculation, I mean if ever there is intensions to take loan and invest, it should be done at the discreet of knowing that the bear market is available and should be at the last year of the bear circle so that something tangible can be gotten out when the bull season kicks in with the investment.

Gambling discussion / Re: what is the impact of gambling on students?
« on: April 08, 2024, 09:18:03 PM »
The impact of gambling on student is seriously bad, and it has impacted the student negatively in a way that it has affected the academics; poses failures in academic performance, mental health issue, risk of suicide, physical health issue and lost of family togetherness.
So problem gambling can be detrimental to student and it is dangerous for Ernest student because of the negative impact it poses on the students. What is your own opinion on this.
The effect is not only narrowed to students, because I believe there are lots of people who are gambling addict that are all adults, for me I think if anyone lacks the ability to control their urge and also if they lack the funds too and also struggle to fund their gambling session then it's definitely going to be a problem for him to cope because after he or she must have lost his money and have no good access to funds he will definitely device to other means be it student or an adult who is not working.

Someone I introduced to the crypto world said he wants to invest his funds with my holding as a top up or contributing to my accumulations after which I told him about the risks and the potentials of the crypto coins.

He claimed he is being afraid and believe he might not be so careful enough to maintain such Privacies demanded while holding the crypto assets.
He is a risk taker and can stay unpanick for a long time but can not just keep to that privacy. So now I think of creating a new wallet for him and get him invest on it while I take control of his assets holdings and privacies.

Advice please!
I don't believe in ever running anything for someone especially when it's related to crypto because of the volatile nature of the whole market. If your friend have developed interest in the crypto space then you should let him make his own research and obviously take the risk himself because when you come the crypto nothing is certain. I am wondering what if the whole investment or holding that you opened up went sideways. How do you think he is going to manage the feelings.
