Trading (Not crypto) / Which currency pair do you trade all the time?
« on: February 27, 2024, 08:52:33 AM »
There are so many currency pairs in the forex market. The most popular currencies probably are USD, EUR, JYP, GBP, CAD, AUD, etc. Which one of the currency pairs that you trade most and why do you pick up that one?

yes. And I think everyone should try a demo account first when considering trading cryptos. You could apply your strategies, test your theory, and most importantly, you won't lose your money in the first place. btw, any recommending platform for demo trading?

As a beginner, what you guys provide is really thoughtful. I still feel positive and believe this is just a start. There are so many coins and projects going on. Maybe the moment of bitcoin years ago will not happen again. I hope I'm prepared financially and mentally when the chance is coming

This is an interesting question. I think there is still a long way to go when it comes to legal clarity and regulations for crypto market. In my country, there aren't any official laws to regulate this market and I think government is trying to figure out a mutually beneficial way to slowly bring this to the table because of protecting the stability of the currency and financial markets.

USDT isn't a bad choice to invest, especially when you need to buy and sell all sorts of coins. You mentioned it has more return rates compared with domestic banks. The thing that really got me thinking is the security of USDT. How safe it really is? it claims to have the equivalent amounts of dollars. But who knows

I would say Bitcoin is the most hopeful one cause it's been proven over time. There are also some unfamiliar coins on your list like woo, Kin. In what ground do you think it has this kind of potential?

I do believe cryptos just barely started and there is a tremendous opportunity. You never how crazy the price can go.

Trading (Not crypto) / Re: Forex going bad for next year?
« on: February 22, 2024, 04:43:15 AM »
going bad? I feel like it is going bad and good every single day lol. Forex market is one of the most risky markets in the world. The market has fluctuated every day. As long as the whole global currency system isn't breaking down. I don't see any chance it will be bad next year.

If by supporting crypto currency, you mean what brokers allow funding with cryptocurrency. There are quite a lot. exness, fxpro, jrfx, fbs, etc. Basically all of them support deposit with Tether. Some accept BTC and ethereum.

DeFi tokens / What are your thoughts on the recent trends in DeFi?

What do you guys think about the recent trends in Defi and its impact on the altcoin market?

1. It is represented 1:1 by 100% fiat currency

Digital Cash is Private sector CBDC kind of.

Difference between Gold-backed Stablecoins and Digital Cash

Digital cash is a digital version of fiat money.
The value of Fiat money is backed by nothing other than the confidence people have in their Government (and in the Central Bank, the issuer of fiat money).
Digital Cash depreciates as the same rate of Fiat money: e.g. Digital $ depreciates at the same rate of $.

The value of Gold-Backed Stablecoins is backed by Gold.
The value of Gold-Backed Stablecoins depends on the confidence people have in the value of Gold.
5000 years of history.

If digital cash (several currencies) and gold-backed stable coins had existed in the last 20 years, this would have been their relation

agree. at least right now, I think more people have more confidence in gold rather than cryptos. We don't know when cryptos can replace the value of gold. As long as gold existing, I think it will keep maintaining its function and power since it has proved over time.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: Which stablecoin the safest?
« on: February 22, 2024, 04:14:13 AM »
If you could use US dollar for trading, I would suggest you trade in this way instead of using stablecoin. Even though stablecoins are pegged with fiat currencies, currencies like US dollar is relatively more reliable if we consider the global dominance and influences it has. And sometimes things can happen on stablecoin. And it might cause any safe issues in the crypto market. But when things happen on US dollar, the whole financial market will be so screwed up.

Trading (Not crypto) / Re: Are you losing in Forex?

I bet there is nobody who can ever say he never lost money in forex market. the fact is the majority of the retailed brokers lose their money.

Trading (Not crypto) / Re: What does it take to be a forex trader?
« on: February 21, 2024, 10:37:56 AM »
At least from the stats, most of the retailed traders lose their money in forex trading. I think some of your experience in crypto trading can be transferred to forex market. Keep in mind that trading forex contains a higher risk. If you're really interested in and want to be committed. I suggest you do your research, open a demo account and give yourself a couple of months to test your strategy. Once you feel comfortable then you can start to fund your account and trade with small size each time. It is fine if you just wanna mess around and give it a go. Just don't put too much money in cause you will probably blow your account lol
