There are controlled legalization that some people has proposed as a solution to the current situation in Nigeria. Under this crypto will be controlled by the government not completely banned. This will allow for a smooth and more transparent crypto market, additional the solution is to allow Nigerians to trade crypto through P2p platforms. This will give more freedom for individuals to trade and invest in cryptocurrency, while the government is regulating the market. Some platforms like paxful are already used by Nigerians to trade crypto, and could benefits more if the government allow it.What are the potential risks of this?

Nigerian Languages / Nigeria bank ban crypto how it affects us
« on: February 26, 2024, 07:48:37 PM »
The decision taking by the central bank of Nigeria recently to ban crypto transactions through banks and financial institutions caused a lot of limitations In the country. This decision has made it difficult for Nigerians to buy and sell crypto, this as cause the reduction of value of crypto assets in Nigeria. Some citizens believes that the ban of cryptocurrency is the freedom of Nigeria to trade and Invest As they like, that it brings negative impact on Nigeria economy. One if the aims of bank ban of cryptocurrency is to drive the crypto market underground, making it difficult to assess and reduce the risk of fraud and scam.Do you think there is a way to regulate crypto without being banned entirely?

« on: February 26, 2024, 06:22:09 PM »
Minimum wage in Nigeria it can lead to job loss, as the employers can afford to pay workers high wages. It can lead businesses to move overseas, where labour cost are cheap. Some people argue about the high minimum wage that it can lead to inflation, as the business may pass the cost of higher wages to consumers in form of high price. Additional higher minimum wage can help to reduce poverty and improve standard living. The main concern about minimum wage it causes job loss, as the employer's may not be able to afford to pay their worker's.Do you think these concerns will bring benefits of the minimum wage?

Nigerian Languages / Re: Poverty rate in Nigeria
« on: February 26, 2024, 06:01:06 PM »
The problem is our country has been ruled by old men who doesn't have feelings for the young anymore, imagine a country like Nigeria doesn't even has these feelings that we need a vibrant President who knows that heart of the people than just people a man who is next to his grave to come frustrated people before he finally joined his ancestors. What do we do as her citizens is just to follow until we have decided to rise up and change narratives otherwise we would still be facing difficulty till tomorrow.
I think the best choice to save this country now is for the military Regin to come in power and rule the country, because the decisions of the people are not heard at all, the people on top as rulers and council chief's are just making decisions by them sef with the opinion of the citizens.

Nigerian Languages / Re: High rate of population
« on: February 26, 2024, 05:57:36 PM »
To me I think before the government can start planning or looking for solutions to combat the issues of over population let them conduct a national census mind you which has not been done for 10 years now. After doing the census then the government will know how to manage and distribute the resources of the country, with this census they have information that will enable them to make decisions on how to solve the various problems of the nation for example, with the information from the census they will know the amount of unemployed youths and make provisions for jobs and employment for the youths  that's what I think about solving the issues of overpopulation
You are right addition to what you said without the exact census been conducted it will be very hard to know the amount of resources to provide, let another census be conduct again.

The cost of living in this country is making it difficult for people relying on minimum wage to survive. The situation of the economy is not looking favourable at all, exchange rate is always increasing, cost of living increasing but there is no increase in the minimum wage of workers, the rate of unemployment is increasing. I don't know what more should happen before the government will decide to fix things in this country
My brother the country need god because everyday things dey cost, people dey die and the government no dey help matter's they only care about their sef. They should also try and increase salary of works because this is affecting those working just like working with no profit you go find out say month end you don spend pass your two month salary, how you want take plan well and if you check most of the people work as a salary earners are doing very poorly.

Off topic & Sports / Importation
« on: February 26, 2024, 06:45:27 AM »
Importation is another factor to the high price of cement. Mostly cement used in Nigeria are imported, and this add to the increase price of cement, If more industries could start up a cement production this will make it easier for the price will be less and help to reduce it cost, by reducing the need to import. The main reason for the cost of cement price in Nigeria is the unavailability of raw materials. Nigeria is rich in limestone, that's the main raw materials use for the production of cement, the infrastructure to process this materials are not available. Additional the power supply in the country is not constant which makes it difficult to operate cement production.  Do you think Nigeria government should implement the production of more cement plants?

Misconduct is a major problem in Nigeria, and it's affected buy a wide range of areas, from education to politics and businesses. Corruption are common, and there is no accountability for those who practice misconduct. Many people feels there is a culture all that allows bad behavior to go unpunished. One way to solve misconduct in Nigeria is by increasing the transparency and accountability. Like there focus on the information about government spending, should be made public. There should be strict enforcement of anti corruption laws. Additional business should do well as to encourage ethical behavior, educational institution should also promote ethics and integrity. Are there other way to address misconduct in Nigeria?
