General Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on abortion.
« on: March 23, 2024, 04:52:58 PM »
Abortion means killing of a baby from the womb for some personal reasons. Unwanted pregnancy has been the case most times. People get raped and no one will want to keep the pregnancy of a rapist, and some people do abortion due to their own intentional acts. I want to hear from you if you will be in support of abortion, due to how the pregnancy came was gotten. Let's discuss.

Her body, her choice. Abortion should be available to people who needs it, for whatever reason. And to those, who dont want it, just dont do it. That simple. Wether you like it or not, women should a choice.

Syempre this includes feeders gaya ng lats, dubia and super/meal worms. My favorite is the singaporean blue, p.mettalica, cobalt blue, M.balfouri and GBB.

Pero if given a chance talaga, gusto ko turtles and tortoise lang AST and Sulcata.

Gambling addictions is caused by aggressive stakes which the gambler needed to recover back his lost and then he may decide to quit or stop chasing after profits but while on the context he would always keep up loosing.
His grieves of unrecoverables would always justify his action at the points of aggrieve ness.

Aside counselings, can an addicted gambler ever moderate himself all by himself to quit or limit his gambling addictions?
For me, there are stages of addictions. And quitting is not always as easy at it seems. And even you quit, you can relapse and mess with your efforts and come back again.
Every person is unique. And some might quit through counseling, peer intervention, or just lost everything. But for some, it might not work at all. Some might hit the rock bottom, but keeps on gambling. Some might take loans or worse steal. But like i said, not all but for some, there will be always a point that will open your eyes and tells you to stop. I've been there, and i almost lost my job, deep in debt and it opened my eye. That in gambling, losing is certain and winning is a probability.

To think that Play to Earn games are on the rise again. Play-to-earn games leveraging cryptocurrency have surged in popularity, revolutionizing traditional gaming paradigms by introducing tangible rewards for players' time and skill investment. These games utilize blockchain technology to enable players to earn digital assets, often in the form of tokens or cryptocurrencies, by participating in various in-game activities. From battling monsters and completing quests to trading virtual assets, players can monetize their gaming prowess and time spent in virtual worlds. This innovative model not only provides players with new opportunities for earning income but also fosters vibrant virtual economies and communities. However, the sustainability of play-to-earn games relies on well-designed tokenomics, engaging gameplay mechanics, community involvement, and adherence to regulatory standards. As the space continues to evolve, play-to-earn games hold the promise of reshaping the future of gaming and economic participation, offering players a novel way to interact with digital assets while enjoying immersive gaming experiences.

But does its "Play to earn" Token/Coin Economy can be sustainable? If yes, how and why?

1: why do you gamble on weekends?

2: why not choose other days to gamble instead of following that traditions?

1: why do you gamble on weekends?
I gamble on weekends while chillin or doing simple chores at home. Which i just enjoy winning, losing or just plain playing.

2: why not choose other days to gamble instead of following that traditions?
I used to play on online casinos on weekdays, but if something stressful comes up (either work or family matters) its really really frustrating if your on a lose streak. And that my friend is not good trait when your gambling. It makes more bad decision and might end up losing really hard.

if your the one whos gonna operate a casino. it is profitable, why? Cause Casino tables and slot machines are designed with a house advantage. House advantage is calculated according to the game that is being played, and as a percentage of the player's wager. But if your a player, winning is probable but losing is certain. Even you won, youll always comeback. In that way, the casinos can have there way of getting theyre money back or bleed your money slowly but surely.

If im not mistaken may documentary about, why our kababayan eh easily falls to scams. not so sure if its available sa youtube. but the hope na kumita ng malaki and trusting your peers or friends play a significant part sa scams. in which pag tayo naman nag aaya sa mga kakilala natin na they should check crypto, may mga tumataas ang kilay. as an example, yung inner circle ko is wala pang 10 and half of it are the people whos actually playing or researching then about crypto and crypto related games or projects. the rest are assuming we were part of a scam.

24
As in, sobrang sama. The fact na madalas ng balita is associated sa scam or government warnings. And sakit na ng mga pinoy ang mahumaling sa ponzi scams. in addition, tamad ang kababayan natin na mag aral at alamin ang mga bagay bagay. so in general, i think yung adoption could be possible if matuto karamihan ng pinoy about cryptocurrency in a right way inde sa scammed way.

If that's the case, mas i-workhard mo yung pag earn ng karma hindi yung sa pagbibigyan mo ng karma. As long as helpful information ang nabasa mo or alam mong madami ang mag bebenefit sa post ng ibang user, that's enough reason to give a karma.
Yeah, opo. for me if i found something that would give me knowledge and benefit me. its really easy to send karma. thanks

26
Pero sa tingin ko if ever na meron ako. like every kabayan i think di ko naman sya totally ipag dadamot, pero ill think twice before ill send it. kasi may bakay dumating ang panahon na mas may mapag gamitan sya na mas importante. and like galing din ako sa kabilang forum na yung merit is very scarce. i think ganun din gagawin ko.

Play to earn games promise is really good. But in the long run its not that sustainable, in some reasons.
The word play to earn is most likely defined as really play to earn. but in a real sense. Most of the game are played to earn in the beginning, but if the game really target to stay in a long run. most of the game become really competitive and really needs to pay first to earn. i tried some of this game and most of the time. its token/nft's lost its value do to either unlimited amount of token or its limited then the game would switch to another token making the first one unvaluable. But then again, some of the game becomes more competitive promising rewards, burning mechanism, or a switch on demands for the coin/token it rewards the player making a sustainable economy.

The idea of having a greater reward without having the demands for that rewards is not that sustainable at all. Most of the time the demands is meet on the beginning phase of the game. And when all the players meet the certain or required upgrades. Its like the end of the game. No Demands at all, and killing the economy of the game.

Gambling & Crypto Casinos / Re: Government Lotteries are a Scam!
« on: March 20, 2024, 01:55:16 AM »
Well it is a scam, with manipulation setting a side the chances and probability.

An example could be seen in my country, theres a senate hearing that question the integrity of an Government agency that regulates lotto. In which the said agency is scheming for big jackpots to be won by people connected to higher officials of the said agency. you can check them in youtube and apply some subtitles for some of the arguments are in local language.

its just i see it as an example that government regulated gambling are really a scam.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble wisely
« on: March 19, 2024, 01:53:23 PM »
Gambling is what people do for fun, its 50-50 either you win or you loose, Gambling is based on luck, you can also earn in crypto currency in most casino games and poca, but that Doyle's not means it is an investment...
Always stake wisely and do it as fun, and don't forget to stop or quit gambling especially when your making it an habit or becoming addicted to it.
It us quite hard for an addict to quit gambling, but if you really want to quit it you can do it, you just need to work on yourself,  shear your ideas about gambling wisely ...

I would agree with Gambling is based on luck. And i used to gamble but not in the casino's or gambling place where you got to chip-in or something like that.
I used to gamble on houses with some friends ( i dont know if that is what you call your opponents) but either way it became an addiction. For me at those time, i enjoyed playing and reading cards. I dont know if your familiar with Tong-Its (its a game from where i came from), in which you got to predict and read what's the possible cards your opponent has from the cards that is shown.
But most of time, its really luck.
Quitting was kinda hard for me at those time. But i overcome it with the help of my wife. and that addiction is really hard to mess with. at this moment, online gambling site and apps are more accessible and easy to play with. and at the same time most of the local card games are also available at those app.
and for me, gambling isnt that bad. really, you just gotta learn when to stop, understand and choose the game that you think you could win. at the same time stick with your budget and always play with the money you can afford to lose.

between online casinos/gambling sites and on-land casinos which among the two do you think has made more gambling addicts than the other and why?

I would say base on the accessibility and also the availability of gambling, its online casinos/gambling.
We are on the generation were such things are easy to access and the ways of cashing in and out is also easy.
And to think, the ways when you go to a conventional gambling spot or casino is way more hassle than just accessing gambling site or apps on your phone.
From there no matter, what is your walk in life. online gambling is can be accessed and on that it is easy to say that it made more gambling addicts or players in comparison with the conventional one.
