Gambling discussion / Re: Are you cool with long running games?
« on: April 21, 2024, 01:09:32 AM »
Sounds like you've got quite the lineup for the weekend exciting stuff!
But personally, I lean towards shorter games. They're quick, and I find it easier to manage my betting habits with them less time to get caught up and overthink my stakes. Plus, it keeps the adrenaline pumping without dragging out the suspense too long. Either way it's all about enjoying the game.

Gambling discussion / Re: Would you sell your Winning Strategy!
« on: April 18, 2024, 10:50:17 PM »

been in a forum where everyone is trying to monetize what they have been doing online and i found one selling his trading strategy, it is different from betting strategy of course but just assuming you found a betting strategy of your own. you think its just you who discovers it.

and to sum it all up your strategy makes you win 80% of your bets.  would you share the strategy to someone for a price or not?

Let's say it really depends on your goals and the implications of sharing your strategy. If this strategy truly has an 80% win rate, it's a valuable asset. Sharing it for a price could be a good way to capitalize on my discovery, especially if it could benefit others without significantly impacting my own returns. However, widely distributing a successful strategy could potentially lead to market adjustments that might decrease its effectiveness over time. So, it's also worth considering keeping it to myself to maintain its advantage. Ultimately, the decision comes down to whether I value potential earnings from selling the strategy more than the potential risk of diluting its effectiveness.

I haven't faced that kind of issue before because I wasn't able to win that big of an amount to be checked. Just mostly x2 of my deposited money and then that's it. I think they will flag your account if it's an unusual win or something.

I believe that in some cases there are bugs being discovered and gamblers take advantage of it to undo the casino which is not in any way making sense and this sometimes makes casinos to refuse paying wins because they discovered that such win was as a result of lapses from their casino which the gambler failed to report but rather took advantage of the situation to make wins from them.

I'd say it's really important for both sides to maintain transparency and fairness. If a player wins legitimately, then they absolutely should be paid their winnings without hassle. However, if someone exploits a bug and doesn't report it, it does put the casino in a tough position. I think open communication and strict adherence to the rules by all parties can prevent most of these issues. It’s about integrity, really on both the player's and the casino's part.

Gambling discussion / Re: should gambling be completely banned?
« on: April 12, 2024, 10:11:23 PM »

Actually, based on the level gambling is going these days, on my own opinion, it should be banned. Reason being is, Student in college are no longer focus in studying because of gambling. Children below 18 years, under age are involve in gambling, and it's lead to them, stealing their parents money for gambling. It has disintegrate families and relationships in the society, so to me the disadvantage of gambling in the society is more than the advantage it gives to the society, based on that,it should be banned that's my opinion.

It seems that the proportion of people addicted to gambling is actually much lower than those who gamble for fun. Like with any addiction, while there are certainly concerning cases, they represent a relatively small percentage of the overall gambling population. This perspective is important to maintain, as it helps differentiate between recreational gamblers and those who might need support for gambling addiction.

In fact gambling addiction is hard to quit and i have seen him continue to gamble even after winning big money. How do you see it reflected? I think that when i suddenly make big money from gambling, i will stop gambling and start a unique business with that money. Because then i don't want to lose money so i want to keep the money strong and that's why i stop gambling.

For me, the real appeal of casino gambling isn’t chasing a big win but the entertainment and relaxation it offers. It’s about taking a break from daily routines, enjoying myself, and experiencing the excitement in a carefree environment. Winning a big jackpot would be fantastic, of course, but it’s not my main focus. If I were to win big, I’d be thrilled, yet I might to play more after that, because it will only add to the excitement  ;D
Big wins can increase the thrill but also the stakes, and maintaining that casual, fun approach is key for me.

Gambling discussion / Re: The role of Luck vs. Skill in casino games
« on: April 12, 2024, 06:19:39 PM »
Hi everyone,
Ever wonder how much of your success at the casino is due to luck, and how much you can actually attribute to skill?

I want to dissect and debate the elements of luck and skill across various games. How does one’s skill level alter the odds in games traditionally seen as purely chance-based?

Can a well thought out strategy truly make a difference, or are we all at the mercy of the gambling gods?

Are there any games you’ve mastered to the point where you feel luck plays a secondary role?

Or perhaps you have insights into how casinos design games to balance these elements and attract different types of players

In the casino game debate, it’s all about RNG vs. strategy. For games like slots or roulette, luck reigns supreme—no amount of skill changes your odds against the house. But in games like poker or blackjack, skill plays a massive role. You gotta know when to hold ‘em, fold ‘em, or double down to beat the odds. For me its more about luck in the end.

Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling be a career?
« on: April 12, 2024, 06:13:13 PM »
Gambling has been a lucrative business for the betting companies, and most gamblers think that gambling is an easy way for them to make money .
The questions is:can gambling be a career? Gambling can be a career, base on experience and luck for most gamblers, the likes of Dan Bilzerian, and Matthew Benham, they have several ventures going on, but they are predominantly known as career gamblers.
So for me gambling can be a career for few gamblers. That's my opinion, let's get your opinion on this matter.

there are success stories like Dan Bilzerian and Matthew Benham are the exception rather than the rule. It’s definitely not a career path I’d recommend without serious consideration and a solid backup plan.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling In Crypto
« on: April 12, 2024, 05:57:30 PM »
Recently I have started to gamble with crypto, and other coins. Looking to speak with anyone who has had similar experiences. I find it much more effective than gambling with fiat. Let’s use this thread to discuss pros/cons and how us users can improve it!

Thanks!

I'm also new to gambling with crypto and find it pretty interesting. The transactions are fast and it feels more private than using traditional money. Would love to swap more tips and experiences with you on this!

Gambling discussion / Re: No risk no gain
« on: April 12, 2024, 05:48:27 PM »
When it comes to gambling there's nothing too greater to fear than the risk involved in it and that's also what makes the habit a really fun one too.

It's been long I actually stake a game on the English premier league and something just move me to fund my betting account and I had this peculiar games to play in my mind because of the way lately I haven't seen them flop, so I was very eager that one of the two will do so and the teams in questions is Chelsea and Manchester united.

The particular thought of playing the both teams to either lose was what was playing in mind all through and I got the chance to play them each with 10$ stake to lose and what me take this risk was because of some arguement also I had with my friend saying that both teams are back to their to winning ways which I knew very well that it was the opposite of the case.

So to caught the chase, I gamble with a total of 20$ and won 60$ as Chelsea lost the game to wolves by a whooping four goals to two and it was also fun watching the game and same time thrilling as a gambler to take such risk.

So here is my question, have done something like this knowing fully well that the risk is what brings the rewards and how did it go for you own experience.

That’s a fantastic story, and it really captures the thrill and unpredictability of betting on sports! It sounds like you not only enjoyed the game but also managed to outsmart the odds, which must have added an extra layer of excitement to watching the match. Gambling indeed carries its risks, but as you experienced, it can also make the rewards that much sweeter, especially when you have a personal stake in the outcome.

It’s always intriguing to hear how others approach their bets, especially when it involves big games like Chelsea versus Manchester United. Have I taken similar risks? Absolutely, and while they don’t always pay off, the thrill of the gamble is often reward enough.
