$5 is not bad to buy an account, i guess the problem is finding a safe place to buy as many are likely to be from scammers who take your coins and don't pass on the account details

Zcash has some benefits when it comes to asics, no-one likes to invest in a coin that can only be mined with asics as it encourages whales to dominate their market.

You shouldn't really look at the price because there are other factors involve most importantly the coin supply. Siacoin has billions so it is going to be a lot cheaoer than zcash.

It's a good coin as it can offer both private and public transactions. However, that is largely how many privacy coins work and you can get stealth mode activated or left off.

It doesn't have the same publicity as monero or dash. Also it is about marketing, look at the three names and you can see that zcash has the worst branding out of the 3 coins

I have the opposite opinion in that anything that is a copy of bitcoin should not be given much attention. Just forking a coin and claiming it is better does not mean we should all be investing in it

I think that it will never reach $1000 even if bitcoin itself rises to a higher number. There are many clones being released so the value of them all will simply drop due to a mass influx of copied bitcoin

I wouldn't invest in either of them but if i had to choose one then bitcoin cash. It seems to be more popular because it was the first successful copy to adopt the same name as bitcoin core.

Bitcoin gold is another pointless clone to allow the creators to get rich quick. It has no future and will end up being dumped when people realise that it offers nothing new in terms of value

The problem with bitcoin cash is the same with the real bitcoin as well i.e. mt gox! They will sell bitcoin and the cash variant so you can expect the price to dump now and then as soon as they start selling

I guess this is the reason why reddit stopped accepting bitcoin, but now there are posts suggesting that they will start accepting bitcoin again. It will probably happen with a different app though..

I actually dumped it almost instantly but now kind of regretting it as the coin has moved up in price. However, i don't see it overtaking the real bitcoin as it is just using the name.

I think it will keep going up because people are being tricked into thinking it is the real bitcoin when in actual fact it is just a clone, not the real bitcoin at all
