The good thing is, whether it will cross $20k or not as long as you buy this present dip of bitcoin I assure you that you will have great profit on it before the end of this year.

I thought so too. Now is a good opportunity to buy the dip when others are fearful and some are losing hope. Bitcoin may or may not cross $20K this year but there is a higher possibility that it will be higher in price in the coming months than what it is now. If ever a catalyst would trigger the price to moon again then it would be better.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Investing in ICOs
« on: June 28, 2018, 02:52:22 PM »
No matter how many scams are there, there are still ICOs worth investing in because there would always be people who are serious in making this world a better place to live in by creating projects that would make our life more comfortable. Some would choose to invest on it during ICO phase because there are bonuses that are considered as profits already and not given when already listed in exchanges as long as the price would be ICO price or higher.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What will you do if you have one btc?
« on: June 28, 2018, 02:37:56 PM »
I will convert half of it to fiat and make another business that is not crypto related. The other half I would invest a quarter of it in an ICO and the remaining would be to make it as additional trading capital. I am not a fan of long term investment for altcoins but I trust bitcoin that it would be valuable in the future. I want to trade from time to time that's why I want to add it as trading capital. I can then increase my bitcoin stash by trading altcoins.

Yes for me. Banks would use blockchain technology eventually for easier monitoring and for faster transactions. Some industries are already searching for ways to apply blockchain technology to their system because of the advantages it would bring and it will also have lesser cost. Banking industry currently are in research so that they can use blockchain technology to their advantage and then it will be the norm then while the traditional banking system would be obsolete.

General Discussion / Re: FORUM POPULARITY
« on: June 27, 2018, 02:39:26 PM »
I think so in the future it will be more popular. Many are still not aware of this forum but given that some projects are promoting here and they give incentive to those who are advertising their project then eventually it can attract more visitors and users. One of the reasons why some people prefer to be in here is because of the restrictions in bitcointalk for ranking up due to merit and trust and there are people who are using their position to discount other people. In here, I can feel the positivity.

The project can still succeed even if the team is anonymous but it would take some time because the team would have to prove themselves first so that people would trust them. Every body have to start at some point and even though you can call the team as newbies, they will have an advisor that would guide them and if the project is viable and the team is doing great following their roadmap then eventually they can attract more investors.

I don't think cryptocurrencies would be able to replace fiat because of the limitations when it comes to technology. Not everyone would be able to connect to the internet so if cryptocurrency is exclusively use then they cannot transact to anything because they won't have any means of buying something. The government will not allow it as well because they cannot totally monitor the flow of money as to whom it is paid or who paid it.

Reputation, Scams & Phishing / Re: ALL are SCAM !?
« on: June 26, 2018, 06:54:24 AM »
Do you have any evidence to support your claims? There may be some scam altcoins but definitely many are still legit altcoins that aims to solve the problem of some industries today like in logistics, supply and financial industry. If you study the technology behind cryptocurrency, you wouldn't just easily say it is scam. Additionally, if you think it's scam then you will not be here in the first place.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: why invest in crypto?
« on: June 25, 2018, 02:29:35 PM »
Investing in cryptocurrencies gives us an opportunity to earn money. Cryptocurrency is pretty new that's why there is an opportunity to earn more because it has a possibility of growing in value compared to those goods and commodities that are already in the market like stocks or precious metals. Being volatile is a traders paradise that's why many are shifting from trading stocks or forex to trading cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange market
« on: June 25, 2018, 02:11:16 PM »
I am trading in three centralized crypto exchanges. These are Bittrex, Binance and Kucoin. The decentralized exchanges are IDEX and Forkdelta/Etherdelta. Binance is the one that is most recommended because it has the volume and any coin that is listed here will have a pump immediately upon the announcement. If you are hunting for coins that are pretty new then IDEX and Forkdelta may be favorable for you because most of the time the ERC-20 coins are first listed in this sites and some of them are gems.

Before I was able to join an airdrop in bitcointalk that is ethereum blue. I receive 1000 coins during that time and then the price went up to $2 so I made $2,000 from that airdrop. I was able to sell half of it and now it only has a value of around $0.02. I wish I just sold it all during that time but it's too late now. Just join airdrops that you think may be valuable in the future.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: ETH price keep dropping
« on: June 24, 2018, 03:18:53 PM »
Ethereum price keep dropping for the reason of bitcoin decline. That is the common scenario of crypto market once bitcoin decrease, altcoins will follows.

That's right. For every percentage drop of bitcoin, the altcoins percentage drop is doubled that's why bitcoin has a big role when it comes to altcoins prices. Being a base coin along with ethereum, when bitcoin's price drops, it is expected that majority of altcoins would follow because people would sell their coins to buy back again lower or just be in fiat to secure their funds. When the bulls come again, ethereum would increase again.

I always use a separate wallet when I am trying to trade in Etherdelta or Forkdelta just for being cautious. I know that it is safe to use these sites but then we don't know what if something will happen that would compromise these sites so I just want to be safe. There are gem coins in these sites as most of the time, the ERC-20 tokens are first listed here. I always use bookmark too when accessing these sites because there are many phishing sites.

Candlesticks pattern is a big help so that you will understand what is happening in the market. It gives you a story of who is dominating the market whether its the bulls or bears or it is neutral and along with volume, there is a higher possibility of knowing when and where would the price go next. Thank you for the links OP!
