Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: What Are Your Loss Control Strategies?
« on: July 12, 2024, 10:28:04 AM »
so I would like to ask how do you guys control your loss and, most importantly, recover from it to continue trading?
Futures trading is a two-way risk and profit. I don't think that there is any particular strategy that guarantees to turn your states around especially if you gone bankrupted. I mean let's say with strategy A you make a profit today, it doesn't guarantee it will work the same way tomorrow. Controlling losses is the same as wanting to control the entire market. I think you can only limit the risk of loss that you can bear when you open a position.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Transaction fees, explained
« on: July 12, 2024, 10:03:20 AM »
I didn't know that too. However, in what sense would it deter users from overloading the system. I mean in the original sense. Is it in the case of the higher the transaction, the higher the transaction fees?
You mean, "The higher the transactions" refers to network density, transaction size, or what?
Generally (what we can see today) competing users set high fee rates because they want to get confirmation faster. Also, due to the higher the transaction size, for example, you are consolidating many into a single utxo.

I think China may change its views and regulations on crypto if it wants to keep up with the world in the crypto wave and collect huge tax revenue from this market. Another reason is that investors are looking for BTC and crypto to diversify their assets, putting indirect pressure on the government. I think in the future, we may see crypto legalized again in China!
In fact, there is an ambition to dominate the use of their currency globally. In this case, we know that China(¥) competes with US($) in several aspects, especially economics and trade. Cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin, are an external disruptor that can't be fully controlled, where it has the potential to be the majority of its own people. That's why China made contradictory regulations to get rid of it. So, welcoming crypto is impossible unless their leaders change.

However I do not want to burden the RoyalMix admins with more work after telling them about a bunch of stuff a few posts above.  :)
Developers should know what fixes to prioritize. Fixing their guarantee letter generator is more critical than fixing web interface that only displays Russian for a few milliseconds. Holding a valid guarantee letter is also very valuable if there is some risk of technical service errors.

What data might they get? I used to think that MetaMask only collects IP addresses and transaction details. Using Tor would make the data they might collect less valuable.
Data related to user personality may not be really needed. The data that I think is related to this feature is the history of dapps with which you interact intensively, this will be a reference that metamask can provide to other relevant dapps in the future so that you're eligible to enjoy low fees or fee waivers. Well, this is just my assumption.

MetaMask development is moving toward centralization, so I would not be surprised if they develop technologies like this.
I don't think that will happen at least in the near future. Then it will be a closed source wallet like its competitors. This feature I think will only add third party accessibility permissions where they'll have to take some metamask user data as a variable for fee waiver eligibility. In short, this could reduce privacy.

I also failed to verify yours in several online verifiers, for example at Keybase. io says "Error: Needed a 'generic', 'clearsign', or 'signature' PGP message, got 4", or on 8gwifi.org it says "unknown object in stream: 19". I'm close to your last assumption, this will result in some unrecognizable characters.

They said on twitter this feature is still in alpha stage[1]. Honestly I'm curious about the offer of gas fee waivers for designated individuals (probably not randomly), this sounds like some kind of tracking function to the various dapps where the user interacts with. Moreover, making tx without gas fees at all seems impossible, we'll see how it turns out.

And I guess it is also the responsibility of the people in TON to help catch these scammers so they will stop their damaging projects using the platform for their own benefits.
From the many cases I have studied, there is no special assistance provided by blockchain developers to catch scammers and it is not their responsibility. As decentralized blockchains do not identify transaction owners in detail, of course developers side with law enforcement and only help to a certain extent. Law enforcement is generally more likely to work with other (centralized) entities that are more effective, for example on which platforms scammers advertise their fake tokens.

The rational position is to discount the past completely. It doesn't matter how much they bought it for or how long they've been waiting. What matters is you're right here, right now, with X amount of btc in your hands, and need to assess whether it's a better idea to hold it till it goes up or to exchange it for $.
What I can confirm is that they'll sell a little to secure the initial caps, let's say 100x of it with various calculations like inflation every year and I think it only takes a few fractions of bitcoins from their dozens.
The creditors of Mt. Gox has likely been fully identified by the local authorities especially taxation, they will be thinking about strategies to cash in their profits (well it could take longer).
Fair speculation. :)

Meme Coins / Re: Hamster Kombat can change the meme coin narrative
« on: July 10, 2024, 04:54:33 AM »
If the Hamster Kombat project is successful like NOTcoin, Airdrop enthusiasts and crypto players will increase but otherwise new players will no longer believe in airdrops.
People don't really like this kind of kid's game, right? they only seek profit. If you find them while looking at the statistics they have shown fantastic numbers, this reduces your interest because you realize the potential profits with the remaining time will no longer be worth it.

I think fake stabletokens have plagued many other networks in the past, you can see on the ethereum network or other EVM chains that even hundreds of fake tokens are circulating. I don't consider this to be a significant disruption to network continuity. Some block explorers have detectors for this type of fraud. Another fact, stable coins are somewhat centralized, so even legitimate coins suspected of criminal activity can be frozen.

How deep is the management permissions accessible on the platform? I have used a trading terminal platform, Aurox was famous in its time. Only trade execution orders in trading funds using API connection, not for main wallet. I stopped because it didn't make a significant difference in trading profits (maybe I was too bad at trading).

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Bitcoin or Etherum?
« on: July 09, 2024, 02:29:06 PM »
If you want the number of fractions to look a bit large, choose Ethereum. What you need to know is that ethereum has a larger ecosystem where you might be interested in exploring this business. Automatically your risk is greater, not about value, but about the security of your wallet.
Bitcoin doesn't have that big of an ecosystem, but it is quite popular with many parties. Wherever crypto is legalized, bitcoin is definitely the first on the whitelist.
