Many experts believe that BTC as an uncorrelated asset, which is most similar to gold. However, bitcoin has certain advantages over precious metal. This is the ease of transmission and the ability to act as a medium of exchange. Despite these advantages, bitcoin has not yet formed as an effective payment system or a viable currency.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What motivates you to HODL?
« on: October 04, 2018, 08:32:40 AM »
Before you investing in one coins you must do or make a thourough research of the project. There are things you to consider if the project are worth to invest and can hodl for a long term. Always check the whitepaper, the concept of the project, the roadmap, and the team if they are legit.

If you can see the project is great it will motivate you to invest and hodl. Ofcourse there is a possibility that the coons will grow and the value wil increase.

Bitcoin Forum / Is Bitcoin that really decentralized, as you believe?
« on: October 03, 2018, 12:21:54 PM »
Everyone here believes, that Bitcoin system is fully decentralised and is not
affected by any authority.

Almost everyone at this forum understand, that bitcoin nodes work by some rules and
the nodes, that do not obey that rules are simply ignored.

Well. Then I have a question.

We have a single authority, that provided that rules, right?
The same authority is in the posession of the majority of the nodes, as far, as they update to new versions of the software.
Right?

So, we have a single center, that not only presented us The Idea, The Rules, The Standard, The Protocols, The Software - in the past,
but can and will inevitable change the rules, the standarts, the protocols and the software.
Well, software may be reimplemented by the third parties, that is a not a problem.

But the rules? The nodes, that do not obey The Rules are ignored, remember?
One single center have the freedom to manipulate the rules.

Who is the center? Is it a person, or just an account on a hosting? I think, that accessing an account will be enough to manipulate the system.
So, the system is as secure/vulnerable, as the hosting account used to distribute the software, or what?
Your money is as secure as some hosting? OMG...

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What cryptos are you holding ?
« on: October 03, 2018, 12:17:58 PM »
Well, I am kinda on the opposite direction. In the name of Bitcoins I just have some satoshis. But I am holding some altcoins like steem, BTS, ETH and some other tokens like rush tokens (hashrush) and a few more in November, like Storm tokens, Indahash tokens etc. But if you ask me which coin I am betting the most on, then it has to be ETH.

Waves Forum / Re: Waves future ?
« on: October 02, 2018, 12:53:06 PM »
The future of Waves is actually a very great one. The problem is that Waves for now is like a sleeping giant. The Waves Platform, for example, is not that utilized according to its true potentials. I think there will come a time in a few months to come that Waves Platform will be at par with the Ethereum Platform. Waves DEX is also a good exchange site although there are only a few coins. The true future for Waves is not yet here.

Many people in this forum are very negative about the Waves project, despite the fact that this platform already has its own DEX and now they are starting to develop smart contracts, I understand that the most basic problem is projects that are built on Waves because most are really scam.

NEO Forum / Re: NEO future ?
« on: October 02, 2018, 12:47:39 PM »
Currently Neo is one of the most valuable currencies in the digital money market. NEO has a community purpose and addresses the outstanding issue that people care about with smart contracts. Moreover, Neo is derived from China, a country with good technology development is another point that Neo is appreciated. It can be said that the potential of Neo in the future is very high. I trust and support Neo.

NEO Forum / Re: NEO VS ETH
« on: October 02, 2018, 12:42:24 PM »
NEO is termed as Chinese ethereum, it is learned  by overcoming the ethereum's mistakes. NEO has been able to continue its growth in the China market which accounts for its substantial growth and this could drive it towards better future making it to come under top ten crypto currencies. I believe that neo has a great future, after China will allow the cryptocurrency, the price of neo will fly to the moon

IOTA Forum / Re: will IOTA be next ethereum ???
« on: October 02, 2018, 12:37:57 PM »
IOTA can't be an ethereum, it is I think very different compared to ethereum, but I think lisk and neo will be the biggest competitors for ethereum in 2020.

IOTA Forum / Re: worth investing in IORTA?
« on: October 02, 2018, 12:34:09 PM »
Because IOTA is a decentralized, distributed and permissionless network of nodes and its blockchain is unique to others in the market with the great umber of usability advantages in the real life! And it is secure whick was proved by the recent contest of giving big bounty to the one who could hack it! And You know who win - definirely IOTA!

EOS Forum / Re: iS EOS better than Ethereum?
« on: October 02, 2018, 12:25:14 PM »
EOS can not be said to be better than Ethereum presently and I seriously doubt if it would be in future!   Ethereum plan for development is solid and there are many capable Dev and big investors supporting Ethereum.  EOS  has not even develop any service or product yet,  there is no basis for comparison!

EOS Forum / Re: Knowledge about EOs
« on: October 02, 2018, 12:00:39 PM »
You can buy EOS from Exchanges now but it's better to wait if you follow EOS community and founder of EOS Daniel Larimer on Twitter than you must have got information about EOS technical flaws about its constitution arbitration and recently some accounts were freezed on EOS blockchain. They realised their mistake to give more powers to arbitrated and now they want to change constitution to make it more decentralised. All this thing's makes EOS mainnet failure and this can drop EOS price in upcoming day till their constitution 2.0 gets ready.
