But for the fact that it is still buzzing, it cannot die.

But if it eventually dies, altcoins will die too .

Take away the decentralized structure from Bitcoin and you would have succeeded in defeating the major purpose for Bitcoin.
Although I believe that centralized Bitcoin structure could push Bitcoin into hitting it's full potential but it's not feasible.

Bitcoin can never replace gold because Bitcoin is a virtual gold while gold is physical just like Fiat.
They are on different levels and solve different problems.

Personally, I would prefer investing in Bitcoin than in the bank.
Considering they are all risky but Bitcoin investment is highly to yield huge return on investment than bank.
So I go for bitcoin investment.

Experience has shown that the best time to buy coins is when the market price is unstable and weak hands are dumping at loss.
So buying altcoins now is the deal.
