Sorting Box / Re: Starting my crypto journey
« on: December 09, 2023, 08:55:14 AM »
I am new to the forum and I would love to understand more about the crypto space I would be very glad if I could get any suggestions on good articles and resources to kick start my journey.

Welcome Mate,
I'm also very new here, joined the forum yesterday and I'm already finding it fun, with the rate of new users joing the forum everyday, it shows that the forum is really growing and before you know it, it'll be open to lots of opportunities in the future.

You're welcome to the forum, take your time to explore the informations the forum has got to offer, I'm sure you might come across something helpful and you might like.

I totally agree with what you said about cryptocurrency. It's like digital money that only exists online. There are no physical coins or bills, which makes it super easy for buying stuff on the internet. The tech behind it, called blockchain, keeps all transactions secure and unchangeable.

I don't know how true this is but I heard some coins like Bitcoin now have physical and tangible forms, like actual coins that you can now hold and store it up in a safe place.

I've been hearing this for a while now but I still haven't confirmed the authenticity of the information, so do you happen to know how true this information is?

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Which Alt coins you are holding?
« on: December 09, 2023, 08:46:09 AM »
I'm still new to crypto, and don't have any active Altcoins Holding at the moment, although I've been looking for a coin to hold but I really don't know what coin to hold considering the fact that there are so many scam tokens out there, I've tried purchasing a few tokens but the outcome wasn't good at all so I've been scared because I don't really know what factors to consider before choosing a token to hold.

It’s been since 2017 since I registered here and have been off this space, guess a lot have change and I need learn few things about this space again..
Welcome Mate.
I'm also new here, I just recently registered an account, and I've be going through the forum tryna see what to learn, I figured the forum is not so different from the Bitcoin talk forum, although there are changes but the most important thing here is that there's room for changes, innovation and upgrades.

I also figured out that for someone seeking knowledge about Altcoins, this is the right place to be. I'm still learning more about the forum and hopefully we could all progress and grow together here.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Hold vs trading what is better?
« on: December 09, 2023, 08:15:33 AM »
It is better to practice which is which. The strategy that makes you more profit is the effective one to practice. To practice the strategy will make you perfect in slowly but surely  application. To hold or trade is good in a matter of time. The right time is what matters.

What do you think?

Well it completely depends on the investor's choice or preference, for those that have mastered trading, then they'll definitely choose to trade rather than hodl, but for investor's that know little or nothing about trading then hodling would be the best for them, you can't advice everyone to go into trading or choose to hodl. So whichever is more preferable to an investor and whichever works for them, then let them go on with it.

Sorting Box / Re: Altcoinstalk.com is too Complicated
« on: December 09, 2023, 03:07:55 AM »
This forum is too complicated to understand and there are too many ads. The registration process too is complicated. Any time when some is making a post, the person must make a verification and that is very bad.

Although I'm still new here but I won't say the forum is complicated or difficult to understand, I've only been less than a day here on the forum but I'm already getting used to the forum gradually as I dedicate to learning more about the forum and other crypto stuffs I didn't know about.

And concerning solving captcha to send a message, at first I felt it was ridiculous but that's the modus operandi of the forum and it needs to be respected, the moderators must have a good reason why they made it compulsory. But is really no big deal, if that little inconvenience would be what you'd undergo for the knowledge you'll acquire here then count it all joy mate.

hello frnds...
i know the bitcoin is really huge but i dont fine its advantage to be in the payment gateways when its come to etherium....bitcoin is huge becouse its the first cryptocurrency but if we talk about the uses of these altcoins...i think etherium is the best for it

You may have a point there, Bitcoin is indeed considered the father of all cryptos, Hence giving it an advantage over other assets, but for Ethereum to have attained such a height shows that it is an incredibly amazing token with a solid framework. Just like Bitcoin, Ethereum has survived crazy dips and has always bounce back. So yeah Ethereum is a solid on and worth choosing over Bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you investing in WEB3.0 projects?
« on: December 09, 2023, 12:55:37 AM »
No, I do not invest in projects that are on Web 3. Because this is an innovation, it has come very recently. Maybe in time I will start investing to learn more. Today, my investments are mainly in top cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum.

I think It depends on your consideration. Buy early in potential projects is God way to get the big profit at the  coming years.
But We must be careful to choose the coins. Web3 is also potential project.

But really for me, I feel it's the newer the better,  I'd rather invest in new projects than invest in already established projects, but this doesn't mean I'd go jumping into any project I see, no. I'll first need to scrutinize the project and if I deem it worth investing in, I go for it.
