Sorting Box / Re: Blockchain wallet is it good?
« on: October 26, 2020, 04:17:59 PM »
Indeed Blockchain wallet is highly secured and easy to use, but they are still some great wallets out there, that are also good with great UI, wallets like Trust wallet is one of the most used crypto wallet I use it too, cool UI and easy to understand even for noobs in crypto, usually use it in holding small amount of crypto, when it comes to holding large amount of crypto the best wallets are the hardware wallets,  example are ledger and Trevor wallet, their security is top notch.

It is very concerning for us. Scammers are changing their scamming styles. They have realized that people are now very conscious. But is a matter of sorrow that many investors have lost their fund under the trap of these scammers. That' why many investors afraid to join in the new project. So we should be always alert against them should share if we can know about any scamming.
I think scammers don't always rely on one scamming strategy, they keep changing the format, so that they can be able to loot money from investors, and they have given crypto a bad name, i believe that's the reason why new projects rarely raise good amount these days, investors are scared of getting scammed.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: PayPal now accepts crypto

This is a great development which would promote mass adoption considering they have millions of users already. Now it will be easier to trade cryptocurrency even as a novice. Hopefully it will be secured
Well I can't guarantee you, your funds will be safe on their PayPal platform, have never used it so I don't know how tight their security is, and also no private key to your crypto wallet, as I said earlier it's just like "their hands in your pocket" kind of thing.
I hope this news will give a big impact on Bitcoin adoption, not only in its price in the market. We also need massive adoption in Bitcoin, not only improve its price to a higher rate.
The news has already given the bulls more momentum to push the price higher, it was about $11,000 after PayPal announced that will start accepting it, the price surged high up to $13,000, although it retraced a little tho, but at the moment posting this it's above $13,000,the partnership is a sign of more good things to come  ;D.

This is very cool, because as we all see companies start to implement the crypt in their products and this is a huge step towards popularization of the crypt currency.
Its really good tho, much easy to buy  and sell crypto now for those who use it, square also bought about $50 million worth of bitcoin about 1 week ago, many tech companies have began to use it as a store of value.

This is good news knowing that one of the most leading online money transaction for fiat is now adopting bitcoin. Meaning bitcoin is a savage influencers that even the government is powerless to stop its growth.
If more centralized company keep adopting, government might be able to do something when your crypto is in a centralized wallet like PayPal.

Scammers way is so deceptive that the subject couldn't determine at the first glance. They can manage to scape from one scam project into another depends on the market trend. It is always recommendable to study first before you partake.
Agreed, scammers are always looking for new ways to deceive people, and they are always updated with what's trending, like in the time of ICOs there were there still money from investors who were eager to make quick profit without reaching on the projects, I know alot of people who lost some huge amount of to scammers back then, we should just be careful when participating in anything, be it crypto or not scammers are everywhere,we should always tread carefully.

well I think I would love to see and use it as third party company for my crypto asset. PayPal is very accessable in my country and it would be great to use this platform as a way to cash out crypto currency.i hope their would be no problem arises if we do cash out in PayPal platform.
Lucky you it's accessible in your country, I'm from a third world country, if I open a PayPal there's no way I can withdraw to my bank account, and I wont recommend you use their PayPal online wallet to hold a huge amount of crypto, remember there's no private key to your funds, if they freeze your account, your crypto is gone, please tread carefully.
This is the new face of PayPal adopting cryptocurrency to their site. Maybe for a while it will not goes well but once everything will be fixed the huge amount of traffic falls to PayPal. The virtual machine of saving, sending, receiving fiat or crypto. It will be convenient for all PayPal users at the same time crypto lovers.
Although its comfortable for some people, alot of people who have had bad experience using it, might still not buy the idea of using it, but no doubt indeed it's a great step towards world adoption  :D.

Yesterday, I saw on the news that PayPal now allow its users to buy and sell and hold bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their PayPal online wallet, but judging by the way it is, it seems like "our hands in your pocket" do you think its safe to leave huge amount of crypto in such wallet?, also I read alot of reviews online about PayPal and they were not so good, alot people complained about how their PayPal account get blocked for no good reason and their money are stuck in these accounts, so what do guys think?

Free TON is indeed a good project, I'm sure those who join this project will get a decent reward.  But unfortunately I can't participate in this project campaign, because of the strict rules set by the Bounty Manager.
Indeed it's a good project, with lots of potentials, the features free ton is offering is just something out of this world, instant transaction is what we really need in the crypto sphere and it's free Ton is offering that, I just hope the project will be successful can't wait for it to get out, it's a mind blowing project ::).

Sorting Box / How to identify scam airdrops?
« on: October 19, 2020, 04:35:58 PM »
For noobs in crypto, there have been alot of scam airdrops lately  :-[, in order to avoid wasting your time compleing tasks on airdrops that won't pay you, I decided to quote these post for you guys to know how to identify scam airdrops.
Credits to gotbounty
Here are some few points :
A scam will always ask you several things that are very annoying and also important details, such as:
1. Asking for the important and crucial details like private key, PIN, Password, recovery phrase, and others.
2. Asking you to deposit funds in order to withdraw.
After you deposit it, they will be gone.
3. Promising for high profits
It is like when they do a scam investment, they promise us big profits that will really attract many people, especially the newbies.
4. Giving big rewards
It also happens on the scam that they run ta program and the participants will get very high rewards by doing easy tasks.

If you meet at least those 4, it is better to leave it, because it is commonly and mostly a scam.
I hope newbies will take note of this and not fall for any of those scams, you can add yours below, if you like  :).

Participating on bounty campaign is risky, joining on airdrops is riskier. There are campaigns that also looks promising but a little while turn to scam. So in airdrops there is more possibilities of scam projects that you are promoting and inviting your friends there. Be careful to join.
Yeah, your right, I guess nothing is 100% after all, anything can just turn to a scam in no time, airdrops nowadays are filled with scam here and there, I've given up on it, since it no longer prove to be trustworthy anymore, will focus on bounty for now, but I will be really careful when joining any.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bank account vs wallet !
« on: October 19, 2020, 03:41:00 PM »
Hey guys, I have two questions:

1. If your current fiat bank account is emptied by a fraudster, what happens? How do you get your money  back?

2.If your currency crypto wallet is emptied by a fraudster, what happens? How do you get your money  back?

😃
If my money in my back account get stolen by fraudsters, I can quickly ask for the banks assistance and recover it, since the banks are operating on a centralized system, there's a possibility that I might get it back, cis the money can be traced, but if it's in crypto, well I will just say goodbye to it, cus it's a decentralized system, there's no body I can report to, to get my crypto back, it's gone and gone forever. But still crypto wallets over bank accounts  ;).
