Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin?
« on: July 03, 2018, 02:33:01 AM »
So many countries now were prohibiting the use of virtual cryptocurrencies. And to think that many unemployed individuals were beginning to uplift their way of living because of their dealings with cryptocurrencies. Banks doesn't expressly say why it is banning the use of Bitcoin.
What do you think is the reason behind this?

Because The goverment cannot control bitcoin over and the banks afraid they lose their investor. Bitcoin is more profitable than bank.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin money?
« on: July 03, 2018, 02:30:08 AM »
Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads
[mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:

    1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.

[links omitted]
[/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

Yes, It's true. Bitcoin is digital money. Bitcoin is not real money.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why bitcoin is volatility?
« on: July 02, 2018, 06:34:02 AM »
What is votality?

liability to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse. this is the fast price change.

Why is the votality of bitcoin high?
Bitcoin is a low supply at the time of its growing number of users and it has become a demand for the masses. Many want to buy, Many want to sell in easy-word multiple transactions. When many bitcoin transactions are fast market movements and we do not know what might happen because of the emotion of the seller and the buyer may have the price increase or decrease. So the bitcoin is votality because of the small supply and in-demand.

Why is fiat money not too volatility?

Because the government is able to regulate a traditional money, they can make new money and just increase its supply so that it does not have a votality compare to bitcoin.

There is several factor effect the bitcoin price. Major factor is market demand. Negative issue also effect the market

Bitcoin Forum / Re: You can buy KFC chicken by Bitcoin
« on: July 02, 2018, 04:33:40 AM »
Recently, KFC Canada has accepted Bitcoin payments for a short period of time. However, Bitcoin can only be used to place orders online, and only to purchase a new item called "Bitcoin Bucket" and all this special deal will be handled by Bitpay, a fairly common Bitcoin trading tool. Its really interesting news, I wish that I can also buy chicken by paying bitcoin in my country.

It is a good news, The big companies should accept bitcoin for payment.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin as Salary Payment
« on: July 02, 2018, 04:23:36 AM »
Would you love to receive Bitcoin as your weekly or monthly salary?

In my opinion, I personally will be difficult and risky receiving a salary in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is too volatile and has not been accepted in most countries in the world. Maybe in the future it will happen.
