I think it is a good change on ICOs. At least people won't be afraid of the listing place of the ICOs coins/tokens. People also can monitor the progress of token circulation on the exchange. And the other important one, people won't be deceived by the lure of quality exchanges.

I think the market tends to fall more. The situation is not really good now. After the previous rise on the beginning of this month, the market seems difficult to recover. We have to think more realistically, and don't expect too much for the rise on January. Let's hope for surprises on February.

It depends on your knowledge related to them. Which one do you know better? I think both are good, you just need to adjust with your ability. I assume investing is easier than trading but it requires more patient. While trading is quite tricky or complex, but can earn profits faster.

lol.. But you are right, buying USDT is like keeping money in US Dollars, so the losses will really be limited. However, I assume if he meant to get advises for short or long term investment. Surely he hopes the value growing for profits. Well, I think the best options are ETH or XRP.

Be careful to buy low-volume tokens, it may gain big profits or become the dead coins in the future. If you don't really understand to know the potential of new coins, I advise you to avoid buying low-volume coins and buy the top altcoins only. They are safer to hold for investment or trading even though the increase tend to not very high.

Every crypto holder will tend to hold their assets during the decline cycle in market. It is the way to keep the coin's values and to avoid suffer losses due to panic selling. Regarding the time for holding, every coin has a different time length and we cannot determine when the best time to sell it. Some coins may need for two years or more to reach the best rates.

From the some answers above, I can conclude if the bullrun signs are determined by two important things.
(1.) The increase in crypto volumes + prices significantly and constantly. 
(2.) There is vital news like "bitcoin legalized in a big country".

We have experienced two quite good increases currently. The first one was in the end of 2018 and another one was in the early of this month (January, 2019). However, both of them ended with the other declines and claimed as the pump effects only. So, it means we still have no real signs for the bullrun. In this case, I am confused how to differ between the increase as the bullrun sign and the increase caused by pump activity?
