Because they see bitcoin as having no value due to to its volatile nature. There might be other factors but this is what I know so far.

Well, i cannot talk much about Bitcoin failure because it has got very limited negativity which may include the requisite of internet and knowledge in internet before you can fully access and enjoy its benefits.
Aside these, Bitcoin has set the path and record straight for most cryptocurrencies and now there are numerous coins out there excelling because of the groundbreaking records set by Bitcoin.
The best way is to use hard ware wallet like the Ledger Nano S. With this, you can enable the physical authentication which will be required before any transaction can be made. Hackers will then need access to that physical authentication which may appear in the form of a button before they can transfer your Bitcoin.
