« on: June 21, 2018, 12:38:07 PM »
Bitcoin is a digital currency though but it could be considered as an asset. Because many people are earning or acquiring the coins in large quantities. Therefore such people are creating wealth with the currency. Since it is contributing to their riches it could be considered as an asset.

Tokens/Coins Offerings (ICO, IEO, etc.) / How to choose ICOs
« on: June 20, 2018, 08:49:16 PM »
The decision to choose an ICO shouldn't just be based on speculations. To decision to choose a promising ICO coukd be based on expert reasoning and analysis or expert recommendation. However as a novice in Crypto investment one can conduct a small survey of the project. You must consider if the plan, strategies and road map are innovative enough to attract investors. Also whether the team is very experienced and determined to carry out the plan to its final stage.
Another thing is to also consider the crypto market. If the market keeps on dropping it doesn't favor ICOs.
These are some of the factors to consider when choosing ICOs do you support these claims?
Or do you know other factors?

A project's team is know to greatly influence its success especially when the team is known to be prudent, proactove and experienced. Such a team attracts many investors, bounty hunters and ICO rating sites to take interest in the bounty and ICO. However some projects  are developed with private teams or teams who choose to stay anonymous and porjects developed by a community and had no specific team.
Please let's discuss if such projects without known teams can succeed?
Do you know of projects without known teams that succeeded?

General Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and marriage
« on: June 18, 2018, 12:51:41 PM »
I think it will depend on the priorities and self actualisation of the individual. Some people love money or probably aspire to generate fortunes in life and that his self actualisation. I don't expect such person to choose marriage over investment at that period where the market is green. However, some people take a lot of interest in family and such people will choose marriage. We all need money and love but the level at which we need either of them is individually based.

There are several other ways to earn cryptos aside investing and bounty hunting. You can trade; trading in Cryptos are a bit involving in terms of energy and time spent and van be heart breaking but you can gain huge sums of nterests.

Holders are basically people who buy certain tokens or coins and keep them till they reach certain prices. Whereas investors are open to new opportunities, they don't stock to one coin or teken but try new ones with equal or better opportunities.
Which one do you prefer to be?
Which one is likely to make more profits?

« on: June 18, 2018, 03:44:40 AM »
How do you get steempower on Steemit. Is it through Up votes or you need to buy. Your comments please
Steemit power is acquired simply by being a solid member of the steemit social community. With this one must make some number of posts, makes some number of upvotes and comments and make sure the posts and comments are of high quality. Example is one must not make more than 4 post a day and one must not go a day without upvoting someone.

Bitcoin is supposed to be a decentralized digital currency. But it is known that a group known as the 'whales' own a larget amount of Bitcoin. Therefore this group seem to control the price an d market of Bitcoin because their actions and decisions greatly affect the market of Bitcoin.
So do you think this form improper distribution will affect the future and growth of Bitcoin?
Also what should be the solution to this problem?

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Btc and government
« on: June 16, 2018, 03:47:13 AM »
I do not condone anarchist bitcoin enthusiasts in any way. But we know that some governments have tried to repress bitcoin in every way through strict regulations and bans. Why is that so? Is it because bitcoin is not valuable?  It is people who assign values to things.
I don't think it is because of Bitcoin's value. Because in recent years that Bitcoin has been in the systems it has acquired much value of which could be more than that of gold. I believe the issue with the governments arise as a result of them not being in support if the technology because it may disrupt the governments financial systems. Some also attribute their attitude towards Bitcoin as a result of its anonymity

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Share your experience with bounties
« on: June 16, 2018, 03:38:59 AM »
It seems about 80% of us here (bounty hunters) in one or two ways have been a victim of a scam bounty program yet we never stop the hunting. It requires hard work and dedication to get there.
Bounties are now the leprechaun of in my 21st century world - fetching me a lot of digital gold.
What is your experience with bounties?
I haven't been lucky with bounties at all. I'm starting to lose faith in them. I haven't been in bounty hunting for long but the first three bounties I participated in came turned out to be scams. This is very shocking, and sad because all my effort are getting wasted. Itt is actually starting to discourage me.

I don't have a large fund so I prefer to invest in ethereum as I think it has a very high potential for 2018/2019 (smart contract, POS,...)

Binance has made an announcement and should propose alts pairs in fiat this year, I hope it will help alts to emancipate from the Bitcoin
This is great news, I think it is high time all the Altcoins attain that sought of emancipation. For coins like Ethereum we need to  see its real power and potential.
If only that won't cause the disruption of some of the Altcoins
