« on: July 13, 2018, 04:34:35 PM »
Last past months Sri Lanka's Main Bank (Bank of Ceylon) was banned cryptocurrencies in Sri Lanka. What do you think is the reason for that ?
Actually its reallu disappointing for users because day by day on modern society crypto users are increasing based on its profit and good values on future also thry getting more benefits based on this so their decisions may problematic for their investors because many of them invested their money here but they be in trouble also govt.should review this issue.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is BTC really a currency?
« on: July 13, 2018, 04:21:40 PM »
Compared with regular money, backed by governments and issued as legal tender when needed, bitcoin is not under any central authority and its supply has a fixed, mathematical ceiling.
Of course it is.I greatly recognize the bitcoin as a real currency,or should I say a crypto or digital currency.Bitcoin is a much convenient way for ising as a payment method even thought there are still so many people don't want to use not yet recognized its good advantages over fiat currencies.

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.
agree, the reason that they are afraid and may have less capital so worried about it.now take the ICO which is very different but has a better developer team than the others would be fore when the sale of ICO to enter the market price will rise high it even happened in many ICO.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Can Bitcoin ever be regulated?
« on: July 08, 2018, 09:34:07 AM »
No one could predict this much solid some few years back but now, it's happening. Bitcoin is experiencing some regulations like the KYC and AML in most countries and on some exchange platforms. Who can tell what the next regulation will be? Well, we're all keeping fingers across with the hope of seeing much light at the end of the tunnel where governments and big companies like Amazon will adopt Bitcoin and the Blockchain and utilize it in their operations to shoot the prestige and value of the cryptocurrency market.
Regulation as government policy in relation to bitcoin market  price always affect the price negatively pushing the price down. The governments are against bitcoin because of its decentralized nature. The government fears that bitcoin will help people to evade tax which is the oil that governments runs on.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has Bitcoin accomplished its goal?
« on: July 08, 2018, 09:12:16 AM »
Apparently, Bitcoin has accomplished a lot looking at the road map of it yet it has a long way to go in order to accomplish its full goal. Bitcoin was meant to enhance online payment method, thus to be accepted by several shops, businesses, institutions, countries etc but here is the case the attention of payment has shifted more to Bitcoin investment. Anyway, Bitcoin will get there gradually.
I think that it has not accomplished its goal, because most of the people in here consider bitcoin as an investment or a form to make huge  amounts of money, that is the main reason of why i think that it has failed on the main purpose of what it had.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is 2018 favorable for Bitcoin?
« on: July 01, 2018, 04:31:09 PM »
A lot has happened this year especially with the Bitcoin price on the market. Apparently, it appears that Bitcoin is preparing for another massive bull surge, perhaps by the end of the year. A lot of predictions have from crypto experts and we hope to it turns out to be another giant leap price record for Bitcoin.
Over time, the price of bitcoin gradually increase, proving that the cryptocurrency market is giving confidence to investors.Based on that momentum,I think that bitcoin will dominate the market in 2018.2018 will be the year of many other fork releases. In short, these forks could push up bitcoin prices even further.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin is powerful, why scared ?
« on: June 30, 2018, 05:03:36 PM »
Why people are still scared to invest on bitcoin even they know it’s ability to soar even higher in the future ?
Because they do not have guts .They cannot risk even if what is in front of them has already proven time and again that is going to be profitable and not really that risky. These are the weak people who want to gain without risking and investing. There are the kinds of people that only wats for some blessings without even trying some sacrifices to reach them.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What do you really mean by BTC being NO. 1?
« on: June 30, 2018, 04:53:29 PM »
We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

-Store of value
-Services in addition to simple money transfer
-Convenience
-Security
_Investment/speculation
-Safe transfer speed
-Privacy
-Freedom from globalist control
Other
I would say that bitcoin is number one in everything that you have mentioned except in privacy and transaction speed. This is something that could be discussed because is not so private anymore as is used to be at the beginning and there are some other coins that are in front of it.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Do you think Bitcoin has a lot of failures?
« on: June 30, 2018, 04:45:41 PM »
Well, i cannot talk much about Bitcoin failure because it has got very limited negativity which may include the requisite of internet and knowledge in internet before you can fully access and enjoy its benefits.
Aside these, Bitcoin has set the path and record straight for most cryptocurrencies and now there are numerous coins out there excelling because of the groundbreaking records set by Bitcoin.
The failure of Bitcoin,is that it will not be used and it cannot be used for its intended use which is as a currency.People buy bitcoin to make money not purchase things with it  which means that the price is inflating based off of hype and not fundamentals.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What is needed for Bitcoin to rise again?
« on: June 30, 2018, 04:17:06 PM »
Bitcoin is one of the cryptocurrencies which has been recovering from all its bear markets no matter how steep the dip may go. However with the help of boost from whales and governments, Bitcoin is able to soar with a great momentum on the market. If a country accepts Bitcoin transaction now, the value will increase as it will draw more investors to it.
The future of bitcoin depends on it's users we must do something that can make it rise again like buying, investing, trusting and trading.Promote the different ways to get attracted on many investors and buyers save more coins for important needs spent it in economical way.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin?
« on: June 30, 2018, 03:51:33 PM »

The only thing I know about Bitcoin is that it is a virtual 'money' but what are the other use of it? What are your advantages for having a bitcoin?
There are more advantages of bitcoin. One of the advantages of bitcoin is it's decentralization.Since it is decentralized, government has no control over it and every transactions are non taxable.Another advantage is it can be use anytime and anywhere as long you have internet connection.

« on: June 30, 2018, 03:39:29 PM »
As we see that bitcoin price is down since last three months but still not reaching to its highest level.
Is bitcoin loose its popularity ?
I don't think bitcoin loose its popularity because bitcoin was the first and is the biggest coin out there. Most of the alt coins follow the waves that bitcoin rides. If bitcoin take a hit, most altcoins take  a hit.Bitcoin will always remain the most discussed topic on cryptoboards.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: when will the bitcoin price rise again????
« on: June 27, 2018, 04:23:04 PM »
now everyone is worried about bitcoin, because bitcoin prices go down, I want to ask you, when will the bitcoin price rise again?  :(
Well, although bitcoin is getting more popular when compared with technology or other financial technology is still not comparable.
However, the fact that a significant price increase make people invest in bitcoin.New comers, who are still not very familiar with the state of cryptocurrency, willnapnic when there is news related to legality and bad speculation about Bitcoin. That is enough  to affect the fall of in prices.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin regulations
« on: June 24, 2018, 04:56:23 PM »
The government is able to ban Bitcoin ?
If they do, we can just use proxy or ask for someone from other country to do trades for you, right ?  I mean is kind of possible they truly ban, what you guys think ?
We don't need to regulate cryptocurrencies but regulations can be also helpful with the adoption and growth of them or they can be restrictive and even prevent the adoption altogether.in the end it will come down to what they are regulating and how.
