Cryptocurrency discussions / Alt-coins better than Bitcoin Before ?
« on: December 01, 2018, 08:41:57 AM »
Simple, Bitcoin is a good investment that's why more people went crazy about it in the last couple of years. Besides, most altcoins are pump-and-dump scheme much volatile that bitcoin is. Although bitcoin's dominance was challenge by ETH and Bitcoin Cash, they never succeeded because bitcoin has the lion share of the support by the community.
One reason is probably because bitcoin is a pioneer in blockchain technology. In addition, because the amount of supply is very limited, most people tend to choose bitcoin for their investment

As we see the USD ($) as a point of reference and determiner of value for most national currencies on the international market, will bitcoin as the mother of cryptocurrency be the determiner and reference point for the value of other crypocurrencies with time. I have witness that all newly coins aspire to get to where bitcoin has gotten to and even beyond and it baffles my mind that for sure will there be a potential coin to by pass bitcoin and serve as a reference point.

Each and every new scientific invention is making our lives easier.  Gives comfort.  Makes us fast.  Enables us to do the task which in the absence of  that particular invention, had not been possible.  Provides us more and more chances to enjoy our lives different ways.
But the sad part of it is each and every invention is pushing us away from the nature.  We have been losing our natural lives.  our Grandfather's life was closer to the nature when compared to the life of our father but our father's life was more closer to nature when we compare it to ourselves.
Lifestyle deceases are the result we are facing now  a days.  High blood pressure, sugar, heart deceases are the common deceases for which we are suffering now a days though these were rare in 30-40 years back.
Internet is the best but worst invention of the man.  Internet has enabled us to contact a person sitting on the other part of the earth.  We can search any information we require in few seconds, no need to go to some person to ask the answer.
But sad part of it is the waves of internet are affecting our health badly.  It's effects are also seen on birds, animals and even plants too.
People are becoming habitual to using internet.  People are working on internet continuously 9-10 hours inviting serious deceases to ruin their mental as well as physical health.
Presently very few people are using internet for the purpose of bitcoin transactions.  Some people are working for bitcoin.   The traffic on internet will increase with the increased number of people using bitcoin.
Whether it will change earth into open death chamber; weapon being heavy load of internet waves?  Can some precautionary measures be taken to save life on the earth?
Though it is not economical issue; but health being most important for all of us; I think we must share our views ; advising precautionary solutions to save ourselves.

Bitcoin Forum / Bitcoin ETFs will Open Floodgates for Manipulation
« on: December 01, 2018, 08:15:11 AM »
When Andreas speaks, people listen.
Andreas Antonopoulos, a BTCBitcoin advocate with a large following, uploaded a video on August 14 that outlined why an ETF on the cryptocurrency creates so much hype and, more importantly, why he doesn't like the idea. His main concerns are manipulation of price, governance, and politics of Bitcoin. A great explaination from Andreas on the implications of an ETF.

According to Andreas,"Everybody's so excited about ETFs because, the price really increases dramatically as suddenly that commodity becomes available to a lot more investors and these investors pile on, but there's always these claims that the commodities markets are heavily manipulated and opening up these exchange-traded instruments only increases the ability of institutional investors to manipulate."

There are really lots of people who are really hypocrite in nature. If only this congressman benefited from crypto then he won't be suggesting to ban BTC. FIAT or crypto can be both used in illegal transactions. Hope that the government will stop focusing on the negative side of the technology of crypto and promote the benefits that we can get using the block-chain technology for the betterment of our economy and services offered from different business sectors of the world.
This may represent a conflict of interest between the politician and the ideologies, or rather the companies, that he represents. Moreover, when this connection was discovered by The-Crypto-Dog on Twitter, Sherman directly messaged the influence, with the message asking him to “STOP.”. It is left to see how the situation develops regarding Sherman.

Bitcoin Forum / What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin?
« on: November 26, 2018, 06:34:13 PM »
Bitcoin has come a long way and come really come to stay. As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?

Bitcoin Forum / Do you think Bitcoin will change, like PayPal did?
« on: November 26, 2018, 06:29:34 PM »
Actually the transaction cost in the bitcoin is low but it is higher in relative term but it needs to make it lower. I think this will happen as the number of users of bitcoin is increasing day by day. So investors need to be calm and give some time to the bitcoin. The chances are pretty slim, because the people accepted the BTC for what is it and for the way it is. If it does change, it will be a change for the betterment of the coin and for the people. What suddenly made you think that bitcoin transactions are costly?? It was earlier during late 2017s but with the adoption of segwit, it has come down to a very nominal level. People pays in cents for thousands of dollars of transactions with bitcoin. Paypal will never be able to achieve that in its lifetime.

Actually the comparison between paypal and bitcoin is wrong. One is a profit making organization and another one is decentralized p2p currency system. They don't belong to the same league!!

Bitcoin Forum / Bitcoin Market
« on: November 26, 2018, 06:22:46 PM »
From my analysis it appears Bitcoin Market is practically dead or barely used.  Is this accurate/true?
If so, is there something specific that Bitcoin Market does or doesn't do that causes it to not be as popular, successful, widely used or otherwise useful as other competing markets/exchanges?  What are these things?  What can help to improve Bitcoin Market so that it will be more accepted or useful to others?

Bitcoin Forum / Bitcoin First Billionaire: Winklevoss Twins
« on: November 26, 2018, 06:16:44 PM »
During the ascension of the social media platform in the early decade of the 2000s, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss were engaged in a high profile legal battle with Zuckerberg over who had come up with the idea for Facebook.

That bitter conflict eventually led to a US$65 million settlement between Zuckerberg and the Winklevoss twins. The real life drama would also spawn the David Fincher film known as The Social Network which starred Armie Hammer as the Winklevoss twins (he played both).

Fast forward to the present day and the Winklevoss twins aren’t just bonafide Olympic rowers, but also internet entrepreneurs who just became the world’s first Bitcoin billionaires.

I can smell that the value of bitcoin is slowly recovering from previous bloodshed. Hoping that the market performance of bitcoin will continue its momentum towards full recovery of its value last year. I know that there are so many factors affecting its value but with the help and support of the bitcoin community, for sure this technology will really withstand every drop of blood ( bearish market, red train ).

Is this one of the signs of a bull run soon? Do you think history will repeat when it comes to its performance last year December? I know it's quite vague right now to reach that certain value but it's very possible. Share me your thoughts on this guys.

Bitcoin Forum / Ultimate Dead For Bitcoin Would We a Monetary Reform
« on: November 25, 2018, 09:02:58 AM »
Monetary reform is a very long process and it may take 2-5 years to get implemented. Moreover, if American government was planning to do something like this, we would have known it a lot earlier from media and news. I don't think these type of decisions will be made by any government as there will be a massive protest against it by the whole crypto community. Monetary reform will take a long time and it needs a difficult process to be implemented with already Trump government having a shaky stance, they wouldn't think of, doing a reform of bitcoin. As, most of the population will go against them.

Bitcoin Forum / Turkey looks to Bitcoin as Lira Collapse Continues
« on: November 25, 2018, 08:50:56 AM »
The Turkish Lira has plummeted nearly 30% in the past week versus the US Dollar. Much of the move was the result of an all-out trade war with the United States which saw tariffs as high as 50% on some items like steel. Turkey has retaliated increasing tariffs on consumer goods, and the Turkish government has been encouraging protests which included shooting iPhones and tearing up fake US Dollars.
Bitcoin is demonstrating its purpose as an alternative to FIAT when central banks and governments fail. It may take more situations like Venezuela and Turkey until we see significant adoption, but both cases prove BTC as a viable alternative.

Bitcoin Forum / Is The Bitcoin Protocol Poised To Become The New Internet?
« on: November 25, 2018, 08:44:29 AM »
Like with any new game changer, the fans of BTC will have to overcome challenges – legal, taxation and the political environment. In less than five years from now the banking system will most probably be duplicated for BTC. Banks will learn that bitcoin is not a foe, but a friend and will start to use it. And the second layer of infrastructure will be there. Then things will get organized. Five years more and killer apps will show us why bitcoin was, and is, important. Will this be a wallet that can store all your valuable assets? Or some money replacement? Who knows… but I put my two cents on the table that it will be big, very big!
