Ambar,

You get to be in absolute control of what happens to your money and your asset. You get to pick, what to buy, when to buy and you pick out when to sell and do with your money as you like.

Well, if you'd pay $900.000 intrest on a $100.000 loan over 20 years, you should switch banks immediately
I took a loan of €150.000 over 20 years when i bought my house 10 years ago, in the end i'll have to pay about €40.000 intrest, but i can deduct this intrest from my taxes, so in the end i'll pay about €20.000 out of pocket to loan €150.000 for 20 years (this are approximate numbers).

I'm a big fan of crypto, but i'd personally rather have a house to live in than a big fat crypto wallet... I guess i'm to oldfashioned  Wink
I do realise i can get a lot more profit when i would have invested all my money into crypto, but you can't live in your wallet...

Well i think this news was in the past i actually have read another thread regarding this topic. Anyway as long as the market is moving it means people are making transactions and that is generally the most important thing that it has value to people and it its significance will continue so it wont get obsolete.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Holding , selling , buying bitcoin ?
« on: July 14, 2018, 04:56:20 PM »
Not doing anything right now as my cash is currently on hold due to the lenten season. I really like to pick up a couple more bitcoins along the way to average the price down, and to get some more in my stash. Selling right now isn't a very bright idea obviously, as everyone seems to be wanting to sell and afraid of hitting rock bottom, so the only option is to hold or buy more for me.

Bitcoin transactions are anonymous. As long as you don't reveal your identity, no one know you are a bitcoin holder.
For this purpose you have to buy bitcoin peer to peer from a person you trust. Never use exchanges that force you to verify your identity.

news like this (which are showing direct adoption of bitcoin) are great but they won't exactly lead to a rise right away. specially when for every real good news there is 20 false FUD on the internet bashing bitcoin these days

Caveats such as...? Could you elaborate on that?

Haha yeah good old Switzerland. They're really on the ball with their cryptocurrencies. D
I wish Canada was more like this but we'll get there someday. Not like I'm looking for an education at this point either way!

Great! May this news pulls up the price of the market and erase some doubts in the cryptocurrency investors. Lets see what brings this us in the next few days. A news like this - is what we need to promote and attract many investors to the crypto currency ecosystem.

nonymous created helps. Imagine having the CEO of the dollar.

Like what happens when Vitalik dies?

Satoshis genius was not just in the tech but in the choice to remain anonymous.

That would be one of the most useful thing ever post here.

you don't need the password if you have the 12 key passphrase. Simply rebuild your wallet with the seed and you are good to go.

I have Google 2FA on my phone, I'm not certain where my keys are. Would the best recourse be to turn off 2FA on all 3 accounts I have, re install app, and re initiate 2FA fresh? I would have a different key for each account right?

According to what you wrote and pretty much consistent with my own observations, Main Street is not participating at all. Neither sell nor buy, simply does not care.

On the other hand we got shit load of ICOs with shit load of BTC that they have to sell to pay expenses, we got early adopters (or whoever those nice gentlemen were) who dumped 30B worth of BTC in December and now have shit load of fiat thinking what to do with it. We also have asian groups pumped and dumped shit load of alts in January and we know absoulutely nothing about them neither about their BTC/fiat ratio nor about their plans.

Those barts that we saw recently are easy profits by rekting traders, but still it's a zero sum game, the bigger picture is that now whales are trading with each other, redditors watch and profit/rekt and normal people don't care at all.

when you use cross margin the pnl % always goes to extremes as if you had used high leverage
