2. Ethereum - can be mined just by gpu
3. Bitcoin - minable by asic

General Discussion / Re: What is the future of Cryptocurrency?
« on: September 10, 2018, 04:37:37 PM »
The future of cryptocurrency is very bright. During these dips in prices in the market, there would be no other way but to go up. Just waiting for it to happen. The  blockchain technology is also one good feature.

I think they will maintain. They might even be 2nd in terms of volume. Many exchanges now incorporates Ripple as one major cryptocurrency to fiat exchange just like the one that I use.

Faucets readily available but yield low. Bounties needs some work and time but they pay. Trading comes in a high risk but we never know if you hit its jackpot. And mining but needs some initial investments.

Ethereum Forum / Re: how large the community of eth?
« on: August 23, 2018, 08:58:03 PM »
I wonder how large the community of eth compare to bitcoin now. I see most of exchanges so far are using eth, and some is under buy its platform. Do you guys have any idea about the community of eth?
If it has large community now compare with bitcoin, why the price is still affected by bitcoin situation in the market?

I wonder this also. Ethereum has a higher community since it also incluse the ERC 20 tokens community and developers. I think this community is divided to two which are the finance community and forum community. Bitcoin takes those finance community.

Bitcoin cash. The first crypto I have was bitcoin and it was through faucets. That gave me enthusiasm and thus included om of my assets to the cryptocurrency world. Choosing bitcoin cash since it has very small transaction fee.

General Discussion / Re: Do you think the earth is flat?
« on: August 23, 2018, 08:51:58 PM »
What is your view about the shape of the earth?

I'm reading the comments and it seems all is right since no one votes for a flat Earth.

Of course the Earth is round. They have already proven it and I also proven it through some calculation and experiences like rockets trajectory, airplane displacement, etc.

When I put all my investment in something and then it turns to scam. Its like a lesson in cryptocurrency to take precautions whenever investing to a particular coin.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is there hope for crypto in the future?
« on: August 23, 2018, 08:45:21 PM »
I see a lot of bad news about crypto this year starting from hackers, scams, and fraud. can crypto be believed to be a safe investment? I am not sure if this continues to occur in Crypto.

Yes it has a future. Those scams and bad news are  only a small part in cryptocurrency. Most news are good news like its legalization, acceptance, new features, etc....

Monero Forum / Re: How To Buy Monero?

How To Buy Monero?

The fees required with obtaining Monero will for the most part be lower on the off chance that you can buy straightforwardly on a Monero exchanging trade, for example, Kraken.

For huge buys, we suggest utilizing a trade. It can take a couple of days to send assets to a trade and get your personality checked with the trade.

That preference you are saying is a matter of trust. If your trusting the exchange for huge amount then us it. If your trusting someone's escrow as a trade partner you can trade then.

Monero Forum / Re: How Private Is Monero?
« on: August 23, 2018, 08:36:01 PM »
Its private like a hash address hashed again 10 times. Using this ring ct its almost impossible to trace the sender or receiver. Its good to have this privacy but sometime who are those people you're dealing with.

As long as the developers are active. If the cryptocurrency I hold is inactive, its nearing its death its time to sell. That is why its important to know current news about that coin.
