I truly do not see the need why bounties will be earned only after a successful kyc. Its absurd and entirely unnecessary to say the least

I don't think bitcoin exist to change the world because it can't. Its just another alternative to transactions. To directly answer the question, bitcoin can survive with or without altcoins and that's because its independent on altcoins

Xrp has a lot going for it in terms of the advantages but replacing bitcoin is a big short especially in the nearest future but I do see it really rising to high heavens
