Litecoin Forum / Re: the price of litecoin before 2019.
« on: November 04, 2018, 12:46:26 AM »
Litecoin is one of the largest alternative crypto-currencies and was one of the first alt-coins. It is based upon the same source code as Bitcoin with some minor alterations. The idea behind light coin was to make a light weight, easily spendable version of Bitcoin used for low value transactions

Litecoin Forum / Re: Do you prefer litecoin or dogecoin?

If Bitcoin proves itself worthy enough, it won't be hard for some, if not Most of the whole crypto currency index, to move to Bitcoin in short amount of time. Any money invested in alt coins can easily be transferred into Bitcoin and the value of Bitcoin is not lost.

Currently, when you compare the cryptocurrencies on the market, Litecoin is one of the largest cryptocurrencies. Many of the institutional investors, as well as cryptocurrency funds, are also investing in Litecoin. This is the reason why transactions in Litecoin are increasing day by day.

Now, Litecoin strives to be a daily currency, even without a computer, without a digital wallet, you can use it. Imagine you can apply for a Litecoin credit or debit card, purchase your cigarette or visit Starbucks, and pay with Litecoin through your card.

I'm 100% in Litecoin, but I'm also new to crypto so my portfolio isn't that big. (sub $1000) I did have some ripple but sold it to buy more Litecoin when Litecoin hit the low 40s recently.

The result is a disproportionate rise in the price of commissions for each transaction, with delays and failures of the same. All this without an increase in the total number of transactions.

Ethereum Forum / Re: The future of Ethereum
« on: November 04, 2018, 12:11:25 AM »
However, the functionality of Ethereum is very different from the cryptocurrency market’s most popular, Bitcoin. Ethereum is a decentralized peer-to-peer network just like Bitcoin, but users have the unique ability to create "smart contracts" and host "crowdfunding campaigns,".

Ethereum can reach 2000 USD by mid 2018 if Bitcoin breaks another record at 30000.Mid 2018 is maybe to early and with regulation on its way, it is unlikely. I believe that new records are more realistic for the end of the year.

But thankfully, it’s never too late in the world of cryptocurrencies and there more than a thousand coins and tokens that promise great returns as well. One particular coin that is just getting started and is poised to shoot for the moon in 2018 and beyond is OmiseGO(OMG).

OmiseGO (OMG) Forum / Re: How does OmiseGo works?
« on: November 04, 2018, 12:05:54 AM »
Still, as it involves fairly complex notions, it is hard for the beginner looking for an introduction to find a clear and complete guide: OmiseGO’s website provides all necessary documents, and especially the “white paper”, an in-depth explanation of the whole system, but although being an extremely well thought and precise document, it would be a lie to pretend it’s not a hard read at first sight.

OMG is a decentralized bank, exchange, and asset-backed blockchain gateway. OMG’s ultimate goal is to be a “preeminent high-value exchange and settlement platform”.

OmiseGO (OMG) Forum / Re: Will Omisego become popular?
« on: November 04, 2018, 12:01:46 AM »
Popularity will come if the end result is good no need to worry about that. If your not interested in selling right now I don’t see why we need popularity at this point. Let the doubters pay the premium!!

We held a workshop in Warsaw early September to reassess how our proposed designs serve the core values of the project and consider how to balance short-term priorities in order to best provide for the long-term viability of the network.
