I think IOTA, NEM, Zcash, BAT, OMG sub forums can be merged with  Other Popular Cryptos / Coins Sub Forum. Other Popular Cryptos /coins can be renamed as "Other Altcoins".

I like the idea of simply renaming this subsection to "Other Altcoins", is sounds much better than the current description. I hope this proposal is implemented in some form either way.

Currently the bitcoin market we see is at the very top.  Since Bitcoin is on the rise, we can say that the price of Bitcoin could be between $25,000 and $30,000 by 2020.  However, research on the Bitcoin market shows that in 2021, the price of Bitcoin could be between 30 to 40 thousand dollars.

The more I hear people talk of the possibility of $30k by the end of the year, which I think it very much possible, the more I realise $40k doesn't isn't that far away. I don't think it will take much of 2021 to get there, likely in the first half it can achieve this price. With the bull market in full swing price can now move swiftly.

Are you ready to complete KYC on ALTS forum to own more ALTS token?

I don't think I'll be able to  :-\ I think I suffer the halving along with other non-mods and non-ambassadors and non-donators.

I took participated in bounty campaign from bitcoin talk forum but bounty detective team already postponed bounty campaign. I already wasted 4 weeks in vained.

Yup, looks like this happened. Now have to wait to see if moondefi project pay bounty hunters or not  ::)

Should of had another option in the poll "bounty hunters won't get paid" as clearly this was another possible outcome that occurred. Hopefully they will pay and the bounty can continue, but otherwise, onto the next I guess. It's a good job it stopped when it did at least.

Also notice the pre-sale contract has lots of very small buys (probably market making), only a handful of individuals appear to have actually invested  :-X

All the trading volume >$1 was made of trading cents and dollars basically.

For sure price could pass 25K this year, it could also close the year around 20k. At current prices this is only a 10% move up or down, and should now be less surprising. Currently 1K moves are less than 5%.

Bitcoin broke the $20k limit and hit $21.8k but the altcoins doesn't show something to bullish. However, if the trend is going up and will last for a long days, altcoins could be the next to pump to follow the trend of Bitcoin.

I'm still waiting for the inevitable pump of altcoins, whether this means they will go up in fiat value or not. Many seem oversold against Bitcoin right now, while Ethereum to me looks bullish and ready to bounce. Bitcoin has been oversold for weeks now, I think it's long overdue for the altcoins to shine soon.

Summary: take it easy and take your profit whenever you see it. don;t be too greedy.

Totally agreed with you. Even big traders also follow this pattern. If there is 5-10% profit just take it and leave otherwise you can loose it all. Greediness can empty your portfolio completely.

It's indeed good advise. Any traders playing the break-out in the short-term from $20K for example, I hope they have taken their profits, or at least some of them already. Personally I'm a dip buyer so at the moment this means selling a bit of BTC around $23K in order to put into Ethereum at a nice discount. Each to their own though. Buying I don't like buying tops but others do  :)

Forum related / Re: Should bounty managers accept ALTS KYC?
« on: December 17, 2020, 07:37:36 PM »
Halving 2.0 just took place on our forum: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=184079.0

It is time for another halving, however this time wanted to have it in a way that benefit the bounty community.

So I think the majority of forum members will have a need to do KYC in order to receive more ALTS

I'm not so sure of that, it seems like given the halving and the new incentive for KYC (to keep the 100:1 ratio) that others will be more interested in moderation and ambassador roles, or at least that's my hope. I still don't plan to do verification in hurry to be honest, especially if not going to get less points for it yet  :P

It's more likely bounties would be able utilize the forum's KYC verification process though, at a cost of ALTS I'd hope. This is one benefit I imagine of having more verified users more than anything else. For those who wish to participate in these types of bounties that is.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: ALTS token - a brief overview
« on: December 14, 2020, 11:29:16 PM »
I believe there are ways to add value to this token one that comes to mind is to make any transaction on this forum to be paid for using the Alt token just. If I want to place advert, pay for it with Alt tokens, this would help drive up the price and when people realise there is demand for it the price action would follow.

I agree with this. In forum payments, with ALTS, will increase the usability, and will drive up demand. It is a very good proposal.

True, if your scroll up its one of the utilities I listed (unticked) as users here simply don't use the built in shop but instead advertise in the marketplace and prefer to engage directly with each other.

Maybe this will change in the future, but for now main utility appears to be bidding, voting and account recovery.

Basic questions about this forum / Re: Multiple accounts in forum
« on: December 14, 2020, 04:02:19 PM »
I also looked this kind of post , because I also heard that many users used 2 or More Account ( but they got a laber of dupplicate account ) .
Is duplicate account is accepted for bounty ? This is still a questions for me .
bounty manager didi not accept multiple accounts in bounty. They always mention that duplicate accounts are not acceptable. So for bounty use only one account.

Multiple accounts in the same bounty, almost certainly not. A duplicate account participating in a different bounty? Possible. It mainly depends on whether you declare your duplicate account in a transparent and accountable manner, otherwise main account will also be labeled as a clone.

For example I declared my duplicate with admin, even gaining potential hero status, the link to the main account is in my profile under location  ;)

Voting / Re: Favorite DeFi project by locked market cap?
« on: December 13, 2020, 06:35:42 PM »
Uniswap, Aave and Balancer get my vote. I think Maker might not be as useful as it once was now that competition has arrived. I'm not convinced about most Defi projects but these three have caught my attention.

45
But it looks like uniswap decentralized exchange but I am sure MoonDefi obviously will go to the moon.
We'll see what it will look like after distribution. I can only wish the best to my friends who join the moon DeFi bounty. All the best for you guys. :)

Thanks, fingers crossed I guess. You only know til you get the tokens that's all I know. Could be the next Uniswap they say, but let's see. Even a 90% drop in price would be good earnings though  :)
