Sorting Box / Re: What scares the beginners in crypto?
« on: February 27, 2021, 10:10:45 AM »
Where to start was not really a big deal to me because I had someone to guide me, who has been into it. Scam project and account being hacked were my major fear. It was consistently emphasized by mine guidian, so I was too conscious of falling prey such that I never take new steps without consulting him.

« on: February 21, 2021, 09:38:51 PM »
There is always a way to get and information or motivation to start anything. It could be through friends, family members, online publicity, and so on. I got to know about cryptocurrency through my brother and he showed me how to join through this platform. How did you know about cryptocurrency and how did you join altcointalk?.

Sorting Box / Re: For newbie investors.
« on: February 21, 2021, 03:26:48 AM »
Campaign has made it easier to start and earn coin without borrowing to trade, once you can meet up with some project's social media campaign, your investment can begin with whatever little you earn. Although, however the light is green at this time for most investors, the risk is still lesser because the market is fast improving. But it is still not advisable to trade on loan.

Sorting Box / Re: Should we limit members in one campaign?
« on: February 20, 2021, 01:06:00 PM »
There are some project that defines the limit of participants in their campaign, some even intentionally screen out with ranks, like "you must be at least a senior member to participate", some will intentionally give a high task to meet up with such as 20 post with 150 words and must be spread across 4 days, and many more. This is to make the token more valuable.
If there are many good projects people will have options than rushing of the very few ones always available.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: How to find best Airdrops?
« on: February 20, 2021, 12:26:48 PM »
I don't really count on airdrop, I prefer to participate directly in bounty. Bounty is more rewarding than airdrop. Airdrops are just like free bonuses remnant. Sometimes they are bait for scam.

Sorting Box / What happen to your wallet/token after death?
« on: February 19, 2021, 08:16:59 AM »
Your private key to your wallet is very important and Should be kept so confidentially that anyone anywhere cannot just gain access to it, it should not be kept even on your system where internet can trace it into the hands of the hackers, once it could be traced, your wallet and token is unsafe.
In this condition, in the process of keeping safe from every reach, if the account owner dies and no one has Access to his or her private key, what will happen to the token in the wallet over time?

Sorting Box / Beware of Greed!
« on: February 19, 2021, 07:59:56 AM »
I take time to study cryptocurrency trading and I discovered one of the major problems that leads to the downfall of many here is GREED. It's is always sweet to see your little token pumping and pumping especially during bull run, sometimes it meets your targeted amount and yet you refuse to sell or take the profit still wanting more, until the dump catches up with it and while you look, it goes down to loss. My Advice: Beware of GREED!

Sorting Box / Re: Which is good for newbie trade or hold?
« on: February 19, 2021, 07:48:50 AM »
There is always an accurate time to hold and to trade.
It's okay to hold when trading will not be profitable at all or enough, it is important to be patient to make profit but not to the extent of also loosing profit. You may take profit intermittently on your token atleast in order to be at safe side and minimize risks.

Sorting Box / Re: Why you need to become careful?
« on: February 19, 2021, 07:39:23 AM »
Thank you, Generally beginners need to be careful and guided, don't just take steps without watching appropriately, let's ask questions where necessary, by the experiences of others who has been ahead of us we can get it right. Never feel too smart to take all opportunities because some are glittering but unto doom.

General Discussion / Qualities of a good moderator
« on: February 18, 2021, 04:22:06 AM »
Please, I don't know if this is the best place to make the Post.
Kindly bear with me if it is not.but I care to know.
What's are the qualities a good moderator must possess.
I felt he/she should be of a high rank, at least hero member.
He or she should not be temperamental, so as not to penalize people on aggression, must not be easily provoked because everyones capacity here is different.
He/she must also not be biased, must not be a racist because Cryptocurrency is for every nation and tribe.
What's your own opinion?

Sorting Box / Re: How do I confirm who has sent me payment?
« on: February 18, 2021, 04:10:02 AM »
I think to confirm the payment, the person should have a brand, ID, logo to be displayed in the wallet, just like BTC/altcoins have a project name with which the deliver token even in abbreviation,or better still a saved copy of payment details to present.

Forum related / Re: Why i prefer Altcoinstalks more than Bitcointalk
« on: February 18, 2021, 03:28:39 AM »
I'm quite familiar with bitcoin talk, worked on it for some time but no more, Bitcointalk is somehow more strict and the moderators are less friendly, to rank up is such a difficult task. Although, the both are built on related specifics but altcointalk tends to be more friendly.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Present bitcoin volatility palava
« on: February 17, 2021, 08:02:46 PM »
What we all await now is a balance in the market value with both bitcoin and altcoin, bitcoin volatility has to reduce to gain more steady rise above $50k without this,we can't enjoy the bullrun, and we know it is around the corner. Now that our expectations are high, how soon do you think bitcoin can overcome this high volatility?
