Bitcoin Forum / Re: Your Opinion about El Salvador Bitcoin adoption
« on: July 13, 2021, 02:30:21 PM »
It's going to bring bitcoin adoption to millions of people who may have otherwise not chosen to engage in the crypto space. This can only be a good thing for bitcoin and for crypto in general.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Real Bitcoin Believer
« on: July 12, 2021, 02:53:07 PM »
I think that forums like this are filled with 'true' bitcoin believers... and often times the only reason that people get into altcoins is in order to take advantage of temporary larger gains in altcoins (during altcoin seasons) in order to increase their bitcoin holdings.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: HOW CAN WE END THE VOLATILITY?
« on: July 12, 2021, 02:50:58 PM »
There will be less volatility as the market capitalization of bitcoin gets much larger than today. We can already see that this is the case compared to 4-5 years ago.

We are beginning to see companies like Visa make partnerships with other financial institutions to enable crypto payments... so all in all things are heading in a positive direction and bitcoin's place in the space is firm for the foreseeable future.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin will Not Crash.
« on: July 09, 2021, 02:25:27 PM »
Bitcoin is considered a risk asset, making it more prone to crashing when there are fears in the broader market... but this also means recovery from a crash is quicker than in other assets. Case in point is the pandemic bitcoin crash of March 2020.

36
Yup. Initially when the crash in May happened there may have been hopes for a quick v-shaped recovery... now however with consolidation at current levels for quite some time, we can expect that an eventual recovery might also be gradual. Not necessarily a bad thing to consolidate at these levels for some time and the potential for the next leg up will be higher the longer the consolidation at these levels.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: July: Better Market for Cryptocurrency?
« on: July 09, 2021, 02:21:38 PM »
The BTC was valued at just below $33,000 this morning, which is around 50% of its peak on the back of a range of challenges, including energy-consumption issues, China pushback and delayed US ETFs, which bi expects to be transitory only. When these troubles pass, cryptocurrency will return.

That's right, we have had consecutive FUDs pushing the price down... bitcoin always overcomes FUD so it's just a matter of time now.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What happens now with this Bitcoin ?
« on: July 08, 2021, 08:40:33 PM »
At the present time, the price of Bitcoin has come down a lot. There is no point in buying Bitcoin at this time. The ideal time to buy Bitcoin is when the Bitcoin market is in good shape. Those who work with the cryptocurrency market always know when the price of bitcoin will rise. Bitcoin prices are set based on bitcoin buying and selling. When a large bitcoin buyer arrives, the price of bitcoin tends to skyrocket. This is something we've seen before when the world's richest people started doing it.

This is not true. The best time to buy bitcoin is when the market sentiment is down, when prices are low, when the general feel of the market is bearish... when nobody wants to be buying. On the other hand, when everything is bullish, prices are rising rapidly, and the market sentiment is high, in other words when everyone is buying expecting prices to 'go to the moon' --that might be a good time to be selling / taking profits.

There is a bitcoin "fear and greed index" on the internet that is a measure of crypto market sentiment... historically when that index has been at "fear" or "extreme fear" --these have been the best times to buy and when that index is at "greed" or "extreme greed", those are good times to sell.

This is a general principle...

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Elon musk and Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency
« on: July 08, 2021, 08:22:38 PM »
Just as the king of the creepy currency market is the biken, so is the king of Elon Musk. Elon Musk is associated with the cryptocurrency market, but the rate at which bicentennials are more or less seen does not adapt to any heart rate, but when the influence of the first Ellen Markets rarely began, bicentenary prices began to return, When the price of Bitcoin started to fall, the price of Bitcoin started to rise again due to a tweet from Elon Musk. But now the price of Bitcoin has started falling again.

We have been in the range of 30k-36k for many weeks now. Still in that range. The most recent decline was in conjunction with the broader market drop in the US.

Everything is possible but I'm sure not that high, main reason is bitcoin never show another function anymore. Need innovation, low fees and friendly security system to support higher level. If bitcoin doing nothing they will never reach that level and loss by eth.

I too notice lately there has been more news hinting at the possible flipping of bitcoin and eth.

I know there are many people here who have been working with Crypt since 2017, 2018 or have worked with Crypt.  So they have seen a big upliftment of the market once before, so let's see today, everyone express their opinion, who understood what from this market, how the market taught.  What do you think about the current market?

The current market is bearish, although several people said It's fluctuations, But I don't think about it.
Because bitcoin dumped almost 50 % from ATH at this year.
In my opinion, This time is bearish season.
that's my opinion.
But you are not saying that we are in a proper Bear market are you? Just cos the market corrected -50% don't mean we are in a bear market because even back in 2017 the market witnessed such correction before July and rebounded back to hot the ATH for that year about $20k Bitcoin price. I also think we might still see a bid reversal in most of the market coins prices and some will still hit a new ATH this year ends too.

I am of the same opinion: in the timeline of the next 6 or so months with ATHs again either very later this year or very early next year.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin Recovery
« on: July 07, 2021, 02:36:33 PM »
Bitcoin price of Criptocurrency Given its fixed supply and given the fact that there is no democratic mechanism to determine who gets and how many Bitcoins, it creates a kind of feudalism run by the early adopters of Bitcoin,” he said.
that is the advantage that bitcoin has because there is no mechanism that can regulate, determine, take advantage of everything that happens with bitcoin. bitcoin works based on market mechanisms that occur with transactions that occur.

Correct... this is a whale game.
many can deal with this, not just whales, because anything that can move people simultaneously to be able to influence the bitcoin market will obviously result in bitcoin being held hostage, but not all can and want to be stuck with it and there are still many who can understand it. the situation, that's the advantage of bitcoin.

You are right. A large number of small investors acting in reaction to a tweet can move the market much the same as large holder making the decision to buy or sell a large amount.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin ever run out?
« on: July 07, 2021, 02:34:51 PM »
Bitcoin will never 'run out'. However there is a limited supply and even after all of that supply is mined, there will always be losses to lost keys / unforeseen deaths / etc. So it will always get more scarce but will not run out.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why BTC regularly comes down?
« on: July 07, 2021, 02:33:13 PM »
The market by design is always a tug of war between sellers and buyers with each winning over the other for a period of time before reversing to the opposite. So the fluctuation is a function of these markets.

Bitcoin formed a rally for a long time, now the correction will likely last even longer. I don't expect a new rally anytime soon.

I am cherishing the hope that by mid-late July we might see the beginnings of a renewed rally. Of course it's all speculation on my part. We will have to wait and see.
