Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Anonymity - good or bad?
« on: April 27, 2024, 12:04:02 AM »
The appearance of sexuality spoils the detailed content of the crypto world, which really has something to learn, read, make something new out of it as inspiration, such as a new project or becoming part of a team. I don't devote my time to such conspicuous things, as I said before, I don't like it. There is less fraud than last year, which is a sign of a good direction.

I don't know very well what you said about sexuality, I don't understand your post... If you don't speak English well, or you don't know how to write the language, it's not a problem, you can write in the subforum of your language. Please explain what you wanted to say in your post. I hope you don't write meaningless things just to increase your account rank, that wouldn't be good for you...
@Freemind, it is nice you noticed such an off topic post. It is totally unconnected and unrelated to the ongoing conversation. There are more of this type of people just spamming their way up the rank. I see that you are a moderator and yet you didn't delete such an off topic reply. Or are you not a moderator of that board. I think the idea of global moderation is needed here.

Actually, I do not think that this is about malware infection.
I wouldn't careless if it's clipboard malware there might other malware infected the OP's device already. Your case is different because you knew the owner of that address or the other way around, but it's not always the case, so it's better to do full solution than letting it on your device.
That's right mate!
It's better to do full solution. In OP's case it could be what you suggested. In my own case it could be a bid of carelessness because I know the owner of the address and but what confused me was that I didn't just copy the address that day or few days to the day the address pasted itself. I was just imagining how the swap happened.

I fear that Liverpool may actually end up losing yet again, and yes I know that the odds of them losing against West Ham is very very small and thats why I agree that its not going to be that easy for them to lose. But when we are talking about a team getting to a bad momentum that does happen quite constantly. We should consider that situation to be quite terrible and I believe that we may end up with not a great return. We would end up with Liverpool basically crashing and not having anything good at all. Thats a risk, and I am going to bet a very very small amount to that.
After Manchester City thrashed Brighton yesterday to close their points difference behind current English Premier League leaders Arsenal to just one point while having outstanding game to play, it became more clearer to me that Liverpool aren't in a strong position to challenge for the title till the end of the season. So when they play against West Ham tomorrow, I don't think the they're going to play the game with the mindset of winning the league title at the end of the season. Arsenal and Manchester City are currently the main contenders for the league title this season and considering the performance of both teams in the last league games, it's obvious they'll take the fight for the title down to the wires

HT Real Sociedad 0 vs 1 Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti made a lot of rotations in the match against Real Sociedad, Arda Güler who played in the early minutes managed to score one goal and his second goal of the season in 6 matches with Real Madrid in La Liga. Actually, Real Sociedad was able to dominate the match from the early minutes and huge pressure made it difficult for Madrid to get opportunities in the first half. Sociedad took the lead through Takefusa Kubo's goal but the referee disallowed it after checking VAR.
I don't sure Madrid can't defend the winning goal if not make any substitute on second half match, get huge pressure since first minutes and Madrid difficult to developing games in first half how Sociedad more dominance.
After I saw Real Madrid's starting line against Real Sociedad tonight, I knew the club manager was trying to rest his key players ahead of the club's all important encounter in the UEFA Champions League against German giants Bayern Munich. Arder Guler who I think will be a great footballer in the nearest future scored the goal that gave the away team the lead. The home team have been doing their best to break Real Madrid's defense but Carlo Ancelotti's men aren't giving her any chance of whatsoever to find the back of the net, if Real Madrid goes on to win the game, they'll need just four points from their remaining five games to clinch the Spanish La Liga title

Bitcoin Forum / Re: All you need to know after Bitcoin halving
« on: April 26, 2024, 10:13:32 PM »
I don't know, maybe it's different from the others. Is all capital writing really necessary? Maybe it would be much more common to use regular writing for convenience. But sorry for this, hehe, I think everyone has their habit.  So, take it easy.

HOW WAS THE PRICE MOVEMENTS IN BITCOIN HISTORY AND WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT?
It looks like it will continue as usual. Yes, after the halving, in fact the market will not immediately be optimally bullish. In fact, it will be like this, resulting in quite a significant and drastic decline. So many people actually look disappointed. Even though yes, this is the cycle, we just have to wait patiently for what will be the next development in the BTC price. I personally still really believe that BTC will return to its track and skyrocket in the future, in the future bullish era.
After I personally studied the price movement of Bitcoin since the first ever halving, I noticed that there's now thing that's been consistent and that's the significant rise in the price of Bitcoin few months after halving is completed and because it's been a progressive occurrence, I'm very certain that we are still going to experience the same significant increase in few months from. Some people thinks that immediately after the halving is completed the price of Bitcoin will automatically skyrocket but that's actually not what's expected to happen rather, it'll take four to seven months after the halving is completed for us to see a significant rice in the price.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you buying now?
« on: April 25, 2024, 11:53:28 PM »

Are you buying cryptocurrencies now?. If not, could you tell us what is the reason you are not buying?. Are you afraid that the market will collapse as some "experts" say?. Are you afraid that Bitcoin will go to 0?. Do you think Chinese miners will turn off their machines and look at the sky?.
This topic has reappeared to my timeline countless times and I decided to contribute to it and surprisingly it was created far back 2021. The topic was created when there was skeptism whether or not will China ban mining. The worse later happened and China banned mining, did bitcoin collapse? No!
These shows that there's no reason enough not to buy bitcoin. But then there are alot of reasons to procrastinate such as; high price,  government fighting bitcoin, bitcoin bubbles etc

If you doesn't know what could go wrong if it's not on your browser's extension then consider your device is infected. I recommend to reformat your device to avoid such incident to happen again.
Actually, I do not think that this is about malware infection. This has happened to me and the coins was sent to another person. Luckily is someone I have known before and as I was explained how I used a wrong address, the person said he recieved coins from a random address and I confirmed and it was just me that sent it. I think I have copied that address back in the days but didn't know how it override the current address I copied.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Cryptocurrency good or bad for loan?
« on: April 25, 2024, 11:23:46 PM »
Investing in cryptocurrency with a money from the loan institutions or loan from private people all depends on the amount of risk that one is able to take. What I mean in essence is that, investing in cryptocurrency itself is a very big risk. Secondly taking a loan and its own is another type of risk. This is because even if you take a loan to start up a business there is no guarantee that it will go well in the end. So using your collateral to take a loan is a risk and using that loan to go into another risk of investing in volatile products is another risk. My advice is that if you are not knowledgeable enough on how to go about this, please avoid taking a loan to invest in cryptocurrency just for the sanity of your health. If things go wrong the consequence can be disastrous in the other way round if it goes fine well it is nice.

I voted No, I don't see BTC at 80k this month.

we are moving over 67k maybe we get a good week and go over 70 k .

It would make 80k unlikely but possible.
The month of April has not been too unfair. This is because it got some green and red as well. But at any point in time the price wasn't stagnant. It's moving on either directions. 70k is possible but not 80k

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Was the halving created much tension you?
« on: April 24, 2024, 06:29:25 PM »
You are correct, that is a truth that such has never happened, so, don't you think this could be a the cause of spot bitcoin ETF?
Since this never occurred before, and there is every likelihood that we might still see another stumbling price in bitcoin.

The ETF (in my opinion) impacted strong resistance at $60k before the halving.

By the way, if we're already talking about the tension caused by the halving, I'm pretty pissed off by all that euphoria, celebrations and congratulations.
Everything is happening concurrently but we will only discuss the ones we understand. Because there's a block that is going to be mined and the bitcoin reward will half, and that is why halving is so popular. In the other there's no block that will be mined to trigger bull run. So, we will only know about bull run when it starts, so there's no pressure about that. When bull run hits, the posts and hypes on social media will say it all.
According to smartgold, we cannot deny that ETF approval played a vital role in introducing a new ATH even before halving.

Anonymous simply means that you keep your identity unknown to people but people can see your actions or what you are doing online, without knowing who is the person.
That's what I have said that there needs to be distinct in definition between the two words for we to be well guided in our contributions. What you explained above is valid and with that definition, anyone can be anonymous without crossing the path of the government. For example, with VPN and  Tor browser, I can decide to be who I want online. But then, anonymity spans beyond online anonymity. Take Satoshi for instance, he is completely anonymous...

Privacy and anonymity are two different words with different meanings, but be it privacy or anonymity, the government is against it. But then the government can infringe people's privacy but might not be able to do same with anonymity. There are tools and ways to be anonymous without offending the government but this cannot be said about privacy. At a time, the government will try to force you to submit your data in one way or the other, going against this will mean going against the law.

I think an ideal solution is to allow customers to see how the company manages their data and decide whether they can keep their data or not, but it is probably not possible as of now for that solution to be mainstream.
The wrong way of managing the data can be shown customers while behind the scene, other things are happening. It is safer when you don't release your data at all than trusting someone to manage your data the way you like.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The impact of crypto on our lives
« on: April 24, 2024, 04:10:21 PM »
Crypto in carrying out transactions is better than banks, because digital currency is all technological progress. We get many conveniences by using crypto in transactions, even though the country does not yet allow it as a payment method. To be honest, crypto has increased my income, by getting profits that I can use to meet my needs and also buy assets
Of course Cryptocurrency has better transactions than banks. All transactions carried out by cryptocurrency are well recorded and can be seen by everyone, so all transactions can be said to be very transparent and what is more important is that cryptocurrency does not require administration fees every month.
Leveraging the advantage of blockchain, immutable and transparent ledger is a great advantage. But this is not the only great advantage of cryptocurrency over fiat. There are others such as the transaction you mentioned. During the early days of bitcoin, it was preached to be of minimal or insignificant transaction fee. But today, we have been caught by the congestion reality. At this point, bitcoin is fast loosing out in transaction fee advantage.

How are your emotions and mood in this crypto market? Do you expect crypto to be an opportunity to change your life? Or do you look forward to more practical benefits of blockchain technology for the world?
Cryptocurrency just like other opportunities has the tendency of changing ones life for good and it can also do the opposite of applied wrongly. It all boils down to individual aims and objectives of joining the cryptocurrency industry.

If we want to invest in the long term, old or new coins do not matter.  The conditions are that the coin must have a clear product, a large community and ecosystem.
Because with this I think it is safer compared to coins that do not have a large ecosystem and support from the community.
If we talk about longevity of a project, it should do with projects that have been in existence before now (old coins). If a coin is launched newly or this year, we will by no means know how long the project will last. It is only a project that has survived one cycle that we will count as a long term project.

However, if we want to trade in the short term, maybe we can take advantage of the coins that are currently hyped.  Buy and take advantage and leave.
Here, you are indirectly talking about the new coins. Maybe the new meme coins which are currently being hyped.
