I really didnt got the question but selling cryptocurrencies if you are making a huge profit is good. But holding it for a long term isnt the good idea as far as i know. Some of the cryptos dont perform well at all.

Yes newbies do panic in crypto cuz they dont know what they are doing. So when the dip comes they start panic selling by which they lose most of their funds.
