I want to hear your success stories:
  • Which project and token has brought you the biggest profit?
  • How do you use that profit?
  • What impact has that success had on you?

Note:
  • My opinion was posted first in that topic, on Bitcointalk
  • I leave the source link to avoid plagiarism accusation.
  • I excluded/ included minor things from an original thread if necessary.
I got into crypto in 2020 and between then and kow:
1. My biggest profits have been gotten from trading BGB.
2. Mostly, I use the profits from my trading to support my family and enlarge my portfolio. Though I started with just around $1500 back then, that figure has now grown to around four times that amount.
3. Broadly speaking, the success has improved my self esteem and self confidence. Aside that, my family has remained steady and catered for thanks to the additional income from my portfolio which is almost the amount earned in my irl job.
All in all, I'm forever grateful I learned about crypto when I did.

Crypto gaming (GameFi) / Crypto Gaming on The Rise Again
« on: February 06, 2024, 03:04:32 PM »
If you were to ask five random crypto enthusiasts today which narratives they are bullish on for the next bull market, at least one of them would mention GameFi. This is based on my personal experiences last week when I heard up to three mentions of the gaming sector as a promising one.

Out of curiosity, I conducted some research and discovered several interesting facts about GameFi. One notable finding was the recent improvement in the actual gameplay of crypto gaming projects. One project was being talked about a lot when it came to this and that was Dynasty Wars (DWARS), a GameFi and NFT project built on the Solana chain. Essentially, it offers gaming avatars as NFTs that can be used in battle conquests.

I have started acquiring NFTs in view of testing the game myself, but I wanted to share this information first. I would love to hear your thoughts on GameFi as a whole and if you have encountered DWARS, I am interested in knowing your opinion of the project."

Airdrop farming is one of the ways I have used overtime to boost my crypto holdings and I can say the adventure is really worth it after getting over 5 different project Airdrop in 2023

When it comes to exchanges, launchpool has been my favorite way of earning by staking a certain amount of token for instance BGB or BNB to get some free token Airdrop.

So am curious if there are other ways you guys have been earning without investing your funds.

I have been fortunate on some occasions to benefit from a few airdrops. Although not much was realised but still it was worth it. Regarding exchange airdrops and events, I hardly participate in those because I have never really won any since the time I participated in an event three consecutive times on the exchange I usually trade on.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What Do You Look For in a Token?
« on: January 23, 2024, 06:17:58 PM »
As an active trader, you will agree with the fact that what should drive interest in any given token is utility, the nature of the token, team and plan.
While I was about my research, I recently came across $AVA and it seem to have a thing different from other that could have been overlooked. I found out it's creating a decentralized, interconnected loyalty ecosystem.

What caught my eye is how AVA transforms the loyalty game. Token holders have the freedom to use AVA not only on the platform where they earned it but also on other platforms like Bitget that accept AVA.

Imagine using AVA for rewards and also as a payment alternative. It's like a two-in-one deal. And the governance aspect is pretty cool too. The AVA Foundation is all about making this experience seamless and cost-effective for partner projects.
What's the favourite thing about your best tokens?

One of the few Centralised enterprises that deemed it fit to switch to the decentralised scene. I also saw news of thier switch from BEP2 to ERC20 not too long ago on Twitter. Never knew how solid Ava Foundation was until I took out time to read up this week. While there are still some of my little concerns about the token's short term potential, it's no doubt a good one to hold long-term. The unique innovation behind $AVA token obviously makes the foundation stand out among competitors.

To LSK token holders, I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on this recent listing on Bitget. Do you believe it will have a significant impact on the token's value and the project's trajectory?
It's a big one for the Lisk ecosystem. Bitget certainly has a massive community, large enough to make an impact in any project. Put that together with LSK's impressive utility and you've got yourself a great long-term holding.

If Bitcoin were the sole cryptocurrency, market dominance would amplify, likely leading to increased adoption and regulatory scrutiny. Innovation might focus solely on Bitcoin's technology, potentially accelerating advancements. However, the absence of alternatives could intensify price volatility and stifle diversity, impacting the broader crypto landscape and its resilience.
Let's just say it wouldn't be good for us. As you said, the absence of alternatives would cause huge problems. Similarly, not having other projects contributing their tech and innovative would have adverse effects. Imagine never having BNB chain with its low fees, or Solana's quickness or Bitget never pushed Copy trading. It'll all be a boring atmosphere with not much to talk about.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you investing in WEB3.0 projects?
« on: December 10, 2023, 09:05:20 AM »
It will take time before web3 can take its place and compete with web 2...although I am sure that web 2 projects will also implement web3
We're certainly making progress thanks to massive innovation from top projects. Web3 projects bringing in huge personalities with high followings is another thing to look at. Like Bitget having Messi. Partnerships like that go a long way in pushing Web3 to the eyes many across the globe.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: How do you like AI for trading crypto?
« on: December 10, 2023, 08:56:48 AM »
A mistake people make is that they rely on AI alone to carry out their trades. And while AI can do a lot, it is not a replacement for human judgment. Humans possess invaluable experience, intuition, and risk assessment skills.
I couldnt agree more with this statement. AI trading has its benefits but people often misuse it. I've seen even the best ones like Unibot or the Bitget Copy Trading bot get misused by individuals looking for quick gains and the results have never been good.

Bitcoin has always been the best crypto to buy anytime any day however, in the evolving world of cryptocurrency, diversification of portfolio has become paramount to achieve the utmost results which is profit making.

For long term holding or investment, BTC is non contestable but for traders looking for short term profits, altcoins are obviously the best crypto to buy but you must obviously dyor because just as altcoins has the potential to magnify profits within a short period of time, one can also encountered gigantic loss hence conducting due diligence is very essential

There are some altcoins with good ecosystem that have minimum risk looking at how they have performed over the years and also looking at their mcap which is a good indicator as to whether a token is worth investing on. Examples are KAS, XRP, LTC and BGB. Although BGB is a native token of Bitget exchange but it's one hidden gem that most investors are currently taking advantage of looking at the growth of Bitget over the last 2 years. Aside the fact that the token continues to surge and brings the desired ROI, holding it gives investors exclusive opportunity to get some airdrops for free from the exchange. It's worthy to note that the token is the best performing exchange token in 2023 and it has recorded several ATH despite the continued bear market.

The only cons attached to holding BGB is if the exchange encounter a major crisis which affects the reputation of the cex, users may want to sell it off before price dump but with the transparency of the CEX, that is likely not feasible hence it's more advantageous to Hodl the token before the next bullrun.

Most people by now have sights set on the BTC halving and are looking to capitalise on the momentum it'll bring. I do think ETH would be the best performer when this much awaited event happens, but as you said, we certainly can't underestimate BGB again this time. Heard they recently set a new ATH and I can only assume it'll at least double that once the bull market begins proper and is pushed further by hype surrounding the Bitcoin halving. Exciting times ahead fellas, let's enjoy it.

Ever sensed a bit of skepticism among seasoned crypto investors regarding AI-driven trading? I believe It's a sentiment worth discussing. The crypto landscape, intricate and ever-shifting, often feels best navigated with a touch of human intuition.
However, AI algorithms can sift through vast amounts of data, uncover patterns that might escape human scrutiny, and execute trades in the blink of an eye, which is a decisive advantage in the dynamic crypto market. And that can be revolutionary.
A mistake people make is that they rely on AI alone to carry out their trades. And while AI can do a lot, it is not a replacement for human judgment. Humans possess invaluable experience, intuition, and risk assessment skills.
I believe that if AI is utilized responsibly and effectively it can be a game changer.
Curious to hear your thoughts on the collaboration of AI and human judgment in the future of crypto trading. Share your thoughts!

From my experience AI trading still needs a lot of work. Executing trades isn't the issue, but it gets ugly when the AI becomes too specialised in the historical data it has been trained on and fails to generalize well to new market conditions. I've tried out a few that made errors of this exact kind. So far, I've only been impressed by a few of them, with Bitget's AI copy trading bot being a notable mention. I especially liked using it because you get a luxury of options to help finetune things properly.

The crypto world is in alarm as the US Securities and Exchange Commission targets Bittrex, one of the ‘winding up’ digital asset exchanges in the country. However, the SEC has accused Bittrex of violating investor protection laws, prompting the exchange to wind down its operations in the US market.

The SEC has been investing in Bittrex since 2017, when it opened a sweeping probe into the then-nascent crypto industry. At that time, it has issued multiple licences to Bittrex over the years, mainly aimed at understanding how it makes money and deciding which assets to list.

Now the main question that arises for all is: is this because of a lack of regulations, and what could be the future of cryptocurrencies?

They never quite seemed to gain a solid footing in my opinion. Bittrex had all they needed to thrive but simply lacked efficient implementation. I have since moved funds from the CEX to Binance, and later to Bitget after binance started looking shaky. Something tells me BGB won't disappoint that easily

I've never been a fan of KAS tbh, mostly because of the kind of influencers affiliated to the coin. But it's easy to see why BGB would be a great holding in the long term. Compared to all the other top CEXs that have been having a series of problems with governing bodies recently, Bitget has only been exposed to a small amount of FUD from opponent's KOLs and the likes. Meanwhile as you said, the token managed to reach a new ATH this year regardless of the crazy bearish trend we had up until last month. All things being equal, BGB will undoubtedly be a top performer once the bull market kicks in proper, no doubt about it.

Flowing from the recent Bitcoin spike and bullish sentiment all over the CryptoSpace, Decentralized finance tokens have been performing quite well.
Personally, I've been on the lookout to invest in certain good alts. My research has led me to discover certain newly trading tokens on BitgetSwap, good alts like $OTACON, $WMC $GEKKO, $MEGABOT and $NITRO are now available on there. You can do your own research on them and recommend me a couple too as a form of courtesy.

Ohhh there are quite a few decent ones around. For short term purposes, I'd recommend $SAKAI but if you up for hodling long term, then T2T2 might be a good choice. Not launched yet, but already has quite the backing and support and it will be going live on Bitget launchpad.

Pump & Dump / Re: Top Gainers
« on: October 25, 2023, 12:28:45 AM »
There are always some coins that are pumping and acquire the spot in top gainers. How we will know first that a coin might pump today or tomorrow? Where can we get the latest news for crypto? If someone knows plz share with us too. Thanks

It's easy to check really. Sometimes I use coingecko, at other times while trading on bitget, I merely scroll down a bit from main page and click "top gainers". Their sweet user interface is still one of Bitget's standout features to me.

Pump & Dump / Re: Do traders WANT projects to pump and dump the price?!
« on: October 25, 2023, 12:26:07 AM »
Pupm and dump manipulations allow people to make money. That is why they are so popular and in demand. But it is necessary to be very carefull with such manipulations.

I agree. Pump and dumps happen often and sometimes they're exactly what's wanted by community members who are hoping to be able to time their market calls ir order to make the most of it.
