According to your logic: in bullrun, BTC and ALTS will increase in price and generate more profits than the APR of stablecoin staking. However, not all tokens will increase in price and be more profitable than holding stablecoins. We hear that 90-95% of investors lose money, only 5-10% make a profit in the crypto market, so just holding stablecoins and staking is an easy way for investors to make a profit. In addition, in bullrun, the APR for stablecoins staking is also quite high, it can be up to over 10% and is really attractive. Ultimately, every choice depends on the investor's risk appetite.

That's why I asked for 10% guaranteed, but its risks are high, such as freezing your CEX account in exchange for more than 10%. By buying Bitcoin at the beginning of 2024 and selling it in mid-2025, the risks are lower, you can withdraw to your wallet and achieve a good return.

Everyone has their own strategy to make profits, 10% looks nothing at all from the crypto returns standards and that's too but someone who switched to cryptos from traditional investment like stocks and real estate the 10% is quite decent but the term guaranteed gives them a feel of assurance.

In reality we are risking 100% to get lesser than 10% meanwhile chances of hack, exit scam and any other unexpected event can cost our capital.

Thanks for all your comments, as expected the negative news about crypto market lead to this dump in price of Bitcoin and most of the altcoins too, at the moment it's hanging at 57K ish but with the rate I expect atleast go near 50K then we might start the actual bull run for the cycle 2025.

Forum related / Re: Time offset
« on: April 30, 2024, 08:53:22 PM »
Forum time is UTC+1
To get the accurate time do I set Time Offset: -1?
If that is correct then we should be seeing same posting time with the time here.

Can anyone correct me that I got the right time offset?

Yes, that's correct. You have now set your time to UTC. If that's what you are trying to set.

If you just want to sync with forum's time just use 0 in the time offset box.

Edit: now I get you're trying to set the forum's time so as I said previously just type 0 instead of -1.

General Discussion / Re: What tablet do you own?
« on: April 30, 2024, 07:57:24 PM »

I decided to upgrade to the samsung s9 ultra tablet as it has a 14 inch screen.

I expect I may like the 14 inch tablet it should come on may 2

14.6 Inches, that bigger for a tab and almost the size of my notebook's screen size so with the S pen it may be convenient enough when it's needed.

Once I had the madness of buying and experiencing every new gadget but I think I passed that phase in my life. ???

I have an iPad mini 5 that I use only to kill my time by playing games.

I only prefer the actual big screens for any of my trading activities so only desktops, and I had my notebook if I had to access things remotely.

Is a tab convenient as PCs?

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Opt for the safest exchange?
« on: April 30, 2024, 05:55:43 PM »
There is a full list that can be found on the popular crypto site, I am a user of Phemex, Binance and Coinstore exchanges, no errors so far. Which is your choice?

Binance and Kucoin are considerably the safest exchange in my opinion, there are hundred other which I am not using at all cause I stopped trading activities a long back.

Whoever choosing their exchange should be aware of the fees structure, withdrawal fee and trading pairs.

Is this thread created towards shilling two unknown exchanges?

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / 60K resistance might be broken
« on: April 30, 2024, 04:37:16 PM »
I am not really a guy who look into the prices very often but ever since halving I am keeping an eye on it, the prices on the way of declining ever since halving with deadcat bounce. As of now I am writing the price ranges in between 60-61K.

Speculators share your insights about how the price movements will be from this point.

I recently focus on becoming a day trader but it looks like it's pretty hard in crypto and spot trading.
I don't know if there is someone can live as a day trader I tried for almost a week what I can say at first I lost and then while watching and keep practicing it seemed I learned how to the market move but I can't still make a huge profit I am making but still not good percentage unlike other day traders that you can see mostly on youtube. I just keep avoiding futures because I lose 20% instantly in a single trade not good if you don't have much practice in too volatile market.

What do you think is there a day trader who can make a good profit daily?

I had been a day trader in the past and I stopped being one cause it does not bring any profits for the efforts were are making and also the profit depends on your country's taxation policy towards crypto currencies, if they are asking taxes even for crypto to crypto trades then just forget about being a day trader cause the taxes will eat your profits and most of the time even your capital.

Do you still use p2p platforms or exchange's P2P?

I am not actually into heavy trading activity but whenever I am planning to convert my coins into cash I would prefer P2P because I find it very convenient, fast and actually safe because of the escrow service by the platform I am into. I got into P2P because of Binance but since it is not anymore allowed in my country, I just shifted to Bybit which is also good for me so far. as for safety and security, we have to be careful in choosing the P2P trader and make sure one is really into reading the details of the offer so there will be no surprise. In my own experience with P2P in CEX exchanges, I find no other good option that is more suited to my situation and area of origin. As for P2P in DEX, I got zero experience with this alternative though I heard of Localbitcoins (closed since 2023) before.

LBC shut down primarily because of not enough profits and Paxful went down the same road but came back to life in just few months..I am using Paxful for crypto to Fiat and vice versa because that way I can have better privacy from the authorities which is not that I am not paying taxes but not really comfortable in showing them I am doing crypto investment so in future I can still hold my BTC and cryptos if they take unexpected turns.

Forum related / Re: Campaigns and Forums Traffic
« on: April 29, 2024, 05:04:33 PM »
I am fairly new to this forum registered a while ago and been dormant then got active cause I am free from my stuff. Ever since I can see the activity is on the rise, can't comment about the previous but emergence of campaigns actually brought more life to this forum which everyone will agree.

We don't see yet many sig campaigns like we see on bitcointalk but sooner or later this also can be a place where everyone wants to advertise their service/products.

I do feel that the lack of quality topics stops me from commenting more.

I don't really send negative karma to any post but I believe the posts that contain AI content, or are fully copy/pasted content should at least get a few negative karma so such type of spammers may not make such type of posts.

You are doing right, if I am not wrong I only send negative karma twice here until now for the post that made with utternonsense and no one will benefit from reading them and also I suggest using - Karma when you feel someone is actually using AI because no one is going to benefit from a genric reply created by bot and thus destroy the actual purpose of forum along with that don't hesitate to use "Report to mod" when you see a low quality post.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Phoenix Wallet another US ban?
« on: April 29, 2024, 11:01:11 AM »
But let us say Phoenix is noncustodial and another lightning wallet like Aqua or others is noncustodial. Will you be able to recover your lightning coins from Phoenix on another lightning network wallet? I think you will need the same noncustodial wallet for the recovery. If Phoenix is gone and not accessible anymore, you money is gone. Or am I wrong?

AFAIK, it's not possible to migrate the lightning channels just as we do with importing addresses, any funded channel should be closed before importing them into a different wallet so I guess that's what same applies to the Phoenix Wallet too. People from US might still access their app even if it's not available on the app stores so they should have to close their channel and use the seeds to import it on new one.

As you said, usage of pirated apps or even the OS is the primary reasons why many users become victims of the hackers. These attacks usually target wide range of people so we can save ourselves when we try to be sensible with our funds.
correct and this is the sole reason why most are offering free apps downloading because it is not that game or what they are offering is importand instead the advantage they can get in you.

There are other marketplaces to download apps apart from google playstore but when we are talking about  paid apps are available for free or they call it modded apks which are risky and should not be even visited those sites in a device where crypto wallets are installed. There are some malware can be downloaded in the background and installed and can be completely invisible while tracking everything.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Phoenix Wallet another US ban?

Is it still possible to access ---> https://phoenix.acinq.co/? If that is possible, I hope they add an APK link. This way, users will be able to download the application easily.

I can access the website but I am not from the US so it's available in the play store too countries simply follow what US does so I am afraid they might be taken down the same path that could cause whatever little privacy we have while using bitcoin.

About the APK file, which is not present at the moment, the download section just redirects to Playstore and app store but I guess they might add one for sure.
