Nah, Bitcoin will be fine in the long run, we have a lot of challenges in 2017, with war internally, big blockers and so we've seen a lot of forks who thought that they are the true vision of Satoshi and making transaction fees cheap and faster.

And moving forward to 2023-2024 wherein we experience the same issues again, with BRC20 ordinals exploiting a loophole in the code and then congesting the network. But look at where we are now, almost normal now and fees are much cheaper as lets say December 2023 or even January 2024.

So no, I'm not looking at this kind of projects.

Apparently, this is why the Thai cryptocurrency exchange is going public:
Quote
Meanwhile, the Bloomberg report suggests that the entry of global crypto giant Binance and Kasikornbank Pcl, both of which threaten Bitkub’s dominant position in the Thai crypto industry, may have prompted the stock exchange listing decision. Before that, Bitkub sought to address the threat by selling a stake in Bitkub Online Inc, Thailand’s largest crypto exchange.
Bitkub exchange fears that it will not be able to compete with large platforms such as Binance to the Thai cryptocurrency market.
I expect this public offering to strengthen the stock exchange's position in the Thai market and give it the ability to remain competitive within the large stock exchanges, especially since the Thai market is in its infancy and promises a lot.
If Bitkub's goal is to remain competitive with Binance or Kasikornbank, an IPO does not seem to be the only way to solve this problem. Binance itself is already big globally, so if there is a local version of Binance in Thailand, I'm sure it will be more interesting. Instead of having to fight against Binance, it would be better if Bitkub could join forces with Binance to remain the biggest in Thailand... if they want.

This has happened in Indonesia, where initially INDODAX was the most dominant cryptocurrency exchange in Indonesia, the entry of Tokocrypto x Binance made INDODAX's dominance weaken and now Tokocrypto's position is better than Indodax. Tokocrypto's joining with Binance was because Binance did not get a special permit to operate in Indonesia, therefore collaboration is what can make it exist in my country.

If Bitkub wants to imitate what Tokocrypto did, I don't think it's too late, rather than spending too much energy fighting Binance with its already very good reputation.

I'm not from Indonesia, but my question is, if Bitkub want's to be competitive, then what global exchange they should collaborate to at least give Tokocrypto x Binance a run for their money?

Or maybe they think going into public will obviously give them more money to fight it out?

And the only winner here will be the Indonesian crypto enthusiast, and I will say one of the biggest in Asia now as far as adoption or usage.

Welcome to this great platform. I think this casino is not new to the gambling industry. They are doing just fine and have been able to get a good reputation on the other platform where they are. I think you will have to do a bit of more publicity to keep going because from experience, gamblers here tend to mostly patronise casino running awareness campaign because they are very much sure of communication through their representative here as you are as that is the only guarantee they have to keep playing on casino that just registered newly and their publicity campaign being managed by a reputable member.

Lastly, you should try be active here as that factor is one of the basic things being observed by gamblers because inactivity means you are not serious for business.
I agree that they should be more active, but their topic needs to be more active as well. Players that have quaetions, potential players that have questions, more than just an occasional post for post count.

@wild.io you might consider a signature campaign as well. I am free to run a signature campaign if interested. Feel free to send me a pm and we can chat.

Yes, at least give this community a try and have signature campaigns and see how it goes. They have a signature campaign in the other community if I'm not mistaken, and it didn't last that long.

Maybe if they will run at least for a week here and gauge everything, it might be good for them to have some exposure and put their presence here.

For all we care, this is a security audit and can call it gold standard.

But what we wanted to see is the financial side, it should be audited as it has been suspected since 2018 that they are running on fractional reserves and that's whey majority thinks that they are scam.

and I think SOC 2 type 1 audit is very easy to pass and so this meant nothing, IMHO.

The u.s. going after another crypto exchange, this time it is KuCoin and who knows how much in settlement they are going to have to pay. The u.s. is accusing them of not registering customers and allowing illicit funds go through their exchange, and this has to be when KuCoin allowed customers to trade without kyc. I don't think KuCoin can win this case, so it will most likely end in a settlement so they can continue operating.

I think US is really targeting crypto exchange, we all know that it was Binance first and now Kucoin. They are really going into details or witch hunting in this case and so they found out about the no KYC policy and then just add up about their exchanges being used for illegal activities then according to the US, violates their law and so they might go now.

Not sure if Kucoin is going to fight it out or just leave US and it's customers. And then again, the one being affected here is US based customers but this is what their government is doing and so they don't have any options now or at least their options are getting small to trade crypto.

Tron  ranked as the number ten  largest cryptocurrency to market capitalization that has CS/circulating supply of 71B trx and a total supply of 99B trx. The price of trx has been stable over the past few month and currently trading at 2 cent per coin.

Right, but it didn't took off as much as everyone was talking about Tron to be the next big thing in crypto space. And obviously it has something to do with Justin, he was aptly called Shill God and that's what he is, didn't know how to communicate his project. He is just pure promotion and even had dinner with WB if I'm not mistaken.

And then he had publicly fall out with some of the exchanges and top crypto executives.

We will be fast approaching the bull run this year and the next, so I think TRX might not be what it used to be as it might slide down and new projects taking over it's position in the top 10 or 20.

Owning both bitcoin and ethereum is the best way to go in the long term. but if I had to choose, I would choose bitcoin because bitcoin is my priority coin. Everyone has their own considerations and beliefs, you can do what you think is best
I also really agree with your choice because so far only Bitcoin has a very bright future, Bitcoin also has a very limited supply so the price has the potential to become very expensive someday, so it is very suitable for long-term investment.

It's obvious though that Bitcoin has given us big profits, even if you just hold for a year and you timing the market that you brought it at a lower price, it will make x2 at least at the current price of around $70,000.

So yeah, why not? nothing to hold against the best altcoins, but I will say that I'm a Bitcoin maximalist and I only chooses to stay with Bitcoin. And if ever I invest altcoins in the past, I will sell them right away if I made profits already and then shift back everything to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Invest & Hodl Bitcoin!!
« on: April 03, 2024, 01:34:29 AM »
Here many people want to invest according to each other's advice. As such I am ready to make my investment long term as advised by unique large investors. Because I have proven by investing that the longer my investment is, the more benefits it is possible to achieve. So keep yourself calm and save your holding in long-term investment, you must have a plan for how many years you will save your holding.
Exactly, what if you have invested in Bitcoin since 2010 until now, how much profit have you made? Surely this year you will become very rich and have a lot of money. As long as your financial condition is safe, investing in Bitcoin is a very smart choice.

Well if you look at the data at (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/), this is the numbers that will come up:

+134992225.79% from $0.04865 to the current price. So that is a astonishing numbers already and for sure as he have seen on Satoshi's supposedly bitcoin, he has ton and could be one of the richest already.

So yeah, it's a good thing to just be a holder and invest long term as profit margin is big and this has been tested already by some OG members in the other forum, not from the very beginning, but those who have been in the market for let's say 2011.

The Binance executive who is being held by Nigerian law enforcement has sued the country’s anti-corruption agency for violating his fundamental rights.
They have a right to do so because the Nigerian government embarrassed them.

I do not have trust in the judiciary system in our country so I'm looking forward to see what this case will develop into in the coming weeks because it is between an international citizen and an agency of the government. If it was a case between a local citizen who is not high in the financial class, it will be difficult for that person to get Justice.

Thanks for confirming that, that is also what I thought about the Nigerian government, no offense though, even our government is also corrupt. But for sure, all eyes are going to follow this news as Binance is a top tier exchange and then crypto has been in the media lately because of the current bull run that we are seeing.

So let's see how it goes, I'm under the impression that there will be no justice and the executive could just leave the country but he will be declared persona non grata in Nigeria.

Congratulations to Fundora. It was a smart fight but I can't really give him all the credit because of that accidental elbow. His opponent was literally fighting with one eye for ten rounds.

I think Tzuyu deserves an immediate rematch. He won the first 2 rounds in all judges scorecard and could have easily dominated the rest if not for the nasty cut.

Yeah, a rematch should be given to Tim because the latter was like having an off night because of that nasty cut. I just couldn't believe that Tim's cutman didn't control that cut or maybe that was a very deep cut that is hard to control. One thing though, there is no rematch-clause for this fight but i think Fundora would give Tim the rematch but this time he could get more money that the first fight.

It was really nasty that throughout the whole 12 rounds, the ring was a muddled with all the blood by fighters. If in old times, in a gladiator wherein you can smell the blood.

Everyone will agree here that a rematch should be made. I think it will be Tim that needs to activated it if I'm not mistaken. So without a question he will do that after he settled down and have his cut stitches by the doctor.

Have read an article on which the WBO has ordered Sebastian Fundora ro face Crawford, don't know whether he will take this one or have a rematch with Tim Tszyu but either fight would bring money to the table for the young Fundora.

If that is the case then Tim will have to wait, but I don't think that he will have his chance to avenge his defeat against Fundora as Crawford is a very intelligent fighter. And unless there is another incident like this, Crawford getting hit by Fundora's elbow, it will be a lopside win for Crawford.

Not that I underestimate Fundora, but Crawford has too much tool in his arsenal to counter the length of Fundora and again, target that body of Sebastian throughout in this fight.

Gambling discussion / Re: Suitable for persons 18 plus to gamble
« on: April 02, 2024, 05:27:45 AM »
I think 18 plus persons are suitable for gambling, because boys and girls under 18 will be studying at that time. If gambling is indulged in at that time, it is certainly fatal to the society, and a threat to the family. Because a gambler can never do anything good, he will always be addicted to winning, and he can do various evil things to earn this money by gambling.

There are a lot of countries which 18 is the legal age to gamble, you just have to look Gambling Age.

Although in the country that I currently lived, 21 is the legal age. However, I see some kids already playing online games as young as 18 or less than that age as online gambling is very accessible now.

You just have internet, a mobile phone. And some local fiat wallet have accessed as well to gambling sites like Evolution Gaming which I admit I have been playing for the last 6 months.

I voted for 1 BTC

To be honest, I wasn't not able to hold that kind of BTC, almost though if I have sold my altcoins that time and turn it into BTC. Another reason is that we are in the bull run so we all know that BTC can go very high during this cycle and every one is seeing like 1 BTC = $150,000. So that is big difference, you just have the patience and continue to HODL for at least 1 year from now. But that is easy if you look long term.

Nice, thanks for this data, I least we now seen this community growing more at the start of the here. Obviously, we have seen influx of teleported accounts from the other forum.

And we might see the trend continue as well, if we will see a way to get incentives to members here like signature campaigns for mixer as this is the reason of the inflow of members and traffic as well. We will like to see gambling campaigns as well like what @yahoo62278 has started.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: XRP road to1$?
« on: April 01, 2024, 03:14:49 PM »
Still depends on the result of their case against SEC. I think it is still ongoing right?

So if by chance they win, then it will take off and maybe reach $1.00. So just better to hold on it mate.

I just read this news though,

Quote
The U.S. SEC has made headlines by demanding a staggering $1.95 billion in fees and penalties from Ripple, a leading cryptocurrency company. This demand, outlined in the SEC’s recent filing has sparked intense scrutiny and speculation within the crypto community.

https://the Url is blocked due to spam #Cpspam/news/ripple-vs-sec-secs-1-95-billion-demand-and-xrps-potential-sell-off/

So we will see how everything goes, it could really impact the price negatively if there will be a sell-off.
