People only believe what they want to believe, and they will only say things that benefit them. Sometimes politicians and news channels don't want to tell the truth, they want to say something that will get attention.

it's true that people believe what they want to believe, but this people  are delusional and they keep on doing this from time to time getting  more attention  and more people to believe them despite the fact that more and more cleaner energy has be introduced to rhe system. Let's just say they are embracers of fiat system, there's  nothing more!

Yeah! Newbies could be funny most times but they need to make research and ask questions to understand  what they don't know.
Custodial wallets embraces the world of centralised market which relies on having a third party securing your wallet, your coin and your tokens.
On the  other hand, non custodial  wallets gives  you total ownership  or your coin leaving  you with maintaining your wallet all by yourself with the elimination of third parties.

However, exchanging from a coin to a token or token  to token you need a third party exchange  which which provides a fast way to convert most of this exchanges work with  both CW and NCW  that support tokens.
I guess I'm digging too much but this is for newbies though.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Volatile Coins
« on: February 02, 2024, 07:46:53 AM »

Forex and cryptocurrency are very different, and the trading carried out is also very different. Forex in cryptocurrency may be more towards future trading, but you need to pay attention to the fact that cryptocurrency will be safer when implementing traditional trading such as buying at a low price and selling at a high price. It's just that simple, and don't make trading more difficult than imagined because not everyone can monitor the assets used for trading at all times.
Don't  get me wrong , I only brought in volatility market just to explain I didn't say anything about forex just a mere  explanation and comparison of volatile market .
Besides , forex gives room to trade cryptos but this thread is about Altcoins generally and every form of trading rely on future events

It seems that it has become basic human nature and sometimes when they have made a lot of profit, they forget that they have to withdraw the profit immediately because cryptocurrency price movements are not easy to predict, so when the price is expensive and they have made a profit, they should sell it immediately before regretting not selling it. high prices like when Bitcoin prices were between 2018 - 2019.
It can still be uncertain  as it still might hit a new target in 2021 a new  ath was reached but before the ATH there were many points  which acted as resistance  to the market , it's  hard to predict though but it takes a seconds  to make a wrong decision  and that's y Bitcoin  is still a  long term  investment  opportunity till today you can actually predicts is price movement  but you can target a point of withdrawal

So if we don't really understand it, especially if we are new, it's better to avoid all types of coins like this. Because this is related to our money, this is not gambling. So we have to understand and know our limits and capabilities

Volatile coin are just the easiest way and the shortest way of making profit and also the vice-versa.
Rhetorically I don't know If anyone ever trade volatility market but that's forex , volatility gives room to experience if you really  want to learn . Thus, I will partially ignore the fact of not staying out of Volatile coins because  without experience there's not "Better"  . However,  I'm  not saying  you shouldn't know the kind of risk to take and when to take them.

Well I will still say everything Is trading  but we have different choice of trading which is either holding or the normal  trade and as you've  said no one is limited to trading so far you understand  you and only  you will suffer  any incurred loss NMW.
Thus, either you choose normal trade or trade inform of investment  there's still a risk attached

Before replying to your answer, dude, first edit what you said: instead of CEX, you put SEX, because others might think that buying Bitcoin is easy because of SEX hehe :P.

I thought I was the only one that sighted it  ;D
For newbies
CEx=> centralized  exchange
And
DEx=> Decentralized  exchange

He made a pretty good point though nothing  to add :)

Greediness is what makes some people to loose beyond they would have afford not to, immediately they realized the other times they have missed out little amount as income only because they were not being patient enough to hold longer than to sell, this will then triggers them of thinking about that same experience of being the same as with others while trading, but by then, they would have make losses than what they thought could have earned them more profit all because they were being greedy.

Greediness is real normally but it  could be mistaken  for emotions sometimes,  Loss could be a significant  view to profit sometime but it depends on the timing.  If someone is govern by emotions  he might opt out of an unripe trade with loss even if he had made profit from that trade before running into loss, that particular trade could later come back with a huge pump surpassing the previous profit , its  just the timing .

Always think that any trade with a big risk will result in big profits, as well as trading that is too risky even though you are good at analyzing it, but the results are also very appropriate. If you are not prepared to lose funds, then don't trade; it's the safest thing to do, and hold your investment for the long term when bullish times come.I agree that every action will be in accordance with what will happen. For this reason, you have to be wise in adapting to the individual because the one who knows your abilities is yourself.
People tend to hide from the reality, it's just the true hold your funds if you're not willing to risk a loss because trading comes with loss , it's just the fact but this loss can be minimised as time goes on
Hence, Richness is born out of risk even if you're  willing to hold a fiat currency for your entire life because  you never know when that fiat system will crash or crumble, therefore positive  risk must be taken to achieve  success

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Hold and trade which is best for you?
« on: January 31, 2024, 05:49:08 PM »
When holding for an extended period of time, there are certain risks to take taken into consideration, such as market volatility and possible regulatory changes. On the contrary, trading carries more risk but has a chance for bigger short-term profit. When deciding on a choice, it's essential to carefully evaluate what you want and risk forbearance.

All formes of Trading comes with risk , even the crypto market it self is a risk
However, it lies with us to make a comparison between  the short term and the long  term but what really  matters is that  either long or short we must be prepare for the down part .

Bitcoin Forum / Re: could adoption make BTC price less volatile?
« on: January 31, 2024, 05:22:23 PM »
Bitcoin volatility is basically the core concept behind it's massive progress and adoption in the crypto market and I don't see this reducing by any chance due to any reason whatsoever, and more the increase in demand has been there ever since as we can see how Bitcoin actually started from price zero to the massive value it's got now so I don't see this concept changing even if the demand keep getting higher. The Bitcoin market is symbolize by two market which is the bear and bull and the two works perfectly to keep this balance on the demand and supply of Bitcoin by the general crypto space.
Agreed with your well composed reply
However,  the symbol bear and bull as being a significant factor or the only to factors possessed by every crypto market and down to  fiat system and it will always be forever.

If you are new to trading then your first task must be to gain detailed knowledge about trading. Because most of those who have already benefited from trading may have learned from here first. If you are very interested in trading then look for people you know who have already profited from trading and who have good knowledge about it. Then you can start trading with his advice if you want.
Trading could be break down into  investment and the other generally termed as trading (inform of forex either crypto or fiat)
i will say all newbies should try both ends
with this they could choose a perfect and most suitable they understand better to do mre often.
also, if they eventaly coudn't cope then they should probably try a long term investment

In some countries still reject and prohibit bitcoin.
But let's look again in a few years.
Probably  in the next few years, some countries  still want the centralised fiat system because of the benefits  they derived from the trading system .
They are not even close to changing  their mind but we keep wising up .

well, El Salvador is now popular from their bod step and it's no news what their bold step was.
I just hope others will follow this great innovation but i doubt as they still cherish the fiat system because of their activities  or maybe they are afraid to come to a world of decentralised  system

Be it trading comes with little or huge profit or loss, trading should be done with little amount of money that you can lose and not think about and not affecting you financially.
More of a slogan "trade what you can afford to lose".
As I've  said there is a lot  attached to the word "huge" , it depends on how we look at it . Huge profit could come from low capital from trading and that isn't limited to investment only  but most time its good to invest larger percentage and trade a lower percentage
