Mine Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, and Vin Diesel
Then I can bet my life that you're a huge fan of Fast and Furious

That's a thought-provoking viewpoint! I concur that there may be advantages and disadvantages to Bitcoin's hegemony in the cryptocurrency space. As you pointed out, on the one hand, it might encourage adoption and innovation. However, it can also result in a loss of resilience and diversity. Thinking about what would happen if Bitcoin was the only cryptocurrency is an intriguing thought exercise.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Top 3 Bitcoin security and safety tips
« on: December 23, 2023, 09:59:35 AM »
To safeguard your Bitcoin holdings, prioritize security. Utilize hardware wallets for offline storage, enhancing resistance to online threats. Enable two-factor authentication on exchanges and wallets, adding an extra layer of defense. Regularly update software to patch vulnerabilities, and employ robust, unique passwords. Exercise caution with third-party services to avoid potential scams. Keep private keys confidential and consider using a secure, isolated device for transactions. Stay informed about the latest security practices to fortify your Bitcoin assets against evolving risks.

These are some really helpful hints! You've obviously done your homework on how to keep Bitcoin holdings safe and secure. In my opinion, adopting these precautions can help lower the possibility of theft or loss, providing consumers piece of mind and assurance about the security of their assets.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important?
« on: December 23, 2023, 09:48:18 AM »
Bitcoin stability is very important for the legalization of cryptocurrency states. The high price volatility of cryptocurrency is a big problem in the way of its legalization. Also, high price volatility of cryptocurrency significantly hinders its implementation and use by business structures. At the same time, high volatility has a positive effect on cryptocurrency trading and market activity.
I completely agree that governments and companies may find it difficult to widely adopt Bitcoin due to its extreme volatility. A great deal of risk and uncertainty can be brought about by volatility, which may discourage some consumers from using or purchasing Bitcoin. However, as you pointed out, traders and investors who are able to capitalize on market changes may also benefit from high volatility.

I understand that you are worried about keep your Bitcoin safe on exchanges. Exchanges have advantages like easy trading and lots of money available but there is a risk of hackers stealing your money and the bankruptcy of a exchange. On the other hand using a wallet is more safer especially if you keep your security phrase safe. But remember no storage method is completely safe and both options have risks.
I will recommend that you should use hardware wallet for this purpose. Which I think more safe.
Why use a hardware wallet? Electrum can provide similar security through cold or multi-signature options, it is free, unlike a hardware wallet which comes at a cost. When it comes to storage, it is better to keep everything in your own wallet rather than on an exchange. If you want to earn interest, you can stake some of your funds on an exchange or deposit them in a pool, but this cannot be considered storage.
Hardware wallets have the advantage of being fully offline and being less susceptible to malware and hacking, even though Electrum and other software wallets can provide robust security protections. Furthermore, the price of a hardware wallet can be justified as an investment in security, and for people who are worried about the protection of their money, the piece of mind it provides might be worth it. As you pointed out, whether you use a hardware or software wallet, it is always safer to keep your money in your wallet than to leave it on an exchange.

I believe that the value of Bitcoin can reach such a figure. However, I am more concerned about its price in the spring and summer of 2024. Typically, after a winter rise, we expect a fall in spring and summer. However, the halving is scheduled for that time, which disrupts the trend. January would be the best time to sell to buy more coins in summer, but I cannot make such a prediction now.
It's excellent that you are considering past patterns and occurrences, such as the halving. But it's crucial to remember that past achievement does not guarantee future outcomes. Although there's a chance that Bitcoin will behave similarly to past years, there's also a chance that unforeseen circumstances may have an effect on the price. It's critical to understand the dangers involved and to avoid basing any investing decisions only on past performance.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What do you think should happen to ordinals?
« on: December 23, 2023, 09:03:40 AM »
It's either ignore and live with it or just use another coin for transactions.
Looking at mempool, there are still many people who are using Bitcoin over time, so I guess they just simply ignored it.

Many are requesting for ordinals to get banned, but correct me with this one. I think for something to be implemented, many people must agree with it, and that includes the miners as well. I don't think they will like this one because it will affect their profitability. Overall, like what happened during the last NFT hype, this BRC20 hype will subside as well, and I expect fees to go down too... or will they?  ;D ;D

Yeah people are still using Bitcoin, but not as much as they used to before, overtime, many people has switched to moving their funds through other alternative tokens that requires less fee to do so, which isn't good at all for business, yes miners have decided to remain adamant about this whole Memepool saga, simply because they're the ones benefiting from the high transaction fees and correcting the whole thing would affect their profitability.

Well then I just hope this whole thing ends soon because if it persists, a lot of people might just get tired of the high transaction fees and decide to divert their attention to other means.

Bitcoin stability is important most especially for the health of other alternate coins too. Because if bitcoin will always drop, the effect of it will be a disastrous since it will affect most of the alt coins to fall down too.
The fact bitcoin doesn't always drop in price doesn't mean it's stable, bitcoin is known for it's volatility and saying or thinking it's a stable asset would be a mistake mate.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin halving Countdown soon!
« on: December 23, 2023, 01:45:10 AM »
Bitcoin halving happened before and each time it has led to the price of Bitcoin going up much. This is because there is low Bitcoin created... so it becomes more valuable. The next halving expected to have a similar effect and happen in April 2024.
Even it is hard to know for sure many people who invest in Bitcoin think that the price will go up much before the halving. This has happened in the past and some people think it will happen again. And Bitcoin will give a surprise to everyone who believe in Bitcoin.
So let's wait for the Halving and also for the ETF approval.

The question I think is, does it usually drop in price before the halving, some believe the assertion is true, that bitcoin usually drops in price, followed by a massive bull run right after the halving, while others also dispute this fact, saying it's not precise.

It's no longer news that this whole Bitcoin Memepool congestion started right after the introduction of the so called ordinal token, So if we are to solve the congestion issue, I believe the best solution would be to completely get rid of the ordinal token.

Yes the Bitcoin Spot ETF is undoubtedly one of the major factors that is influencing the market heavily right now, especially right now that the chances of approval is really high, investors are now very optimistic about the bitcoin market. Another reason could also be the upcoming bitcoin halving too.

42
It's possible for Bitcoin to reach any height this remaining days of the year, I believe it all depends on how optimistic investors are about bitcoin and also the actions of investors, if more investors troop into bitcoin then bitcoin is sure to hit 50k or even more.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Holding Bitcoin for long-term is risky?
« on: December 22, 2023, 11:42:15 PM »
Risky? Of course it's not risky, infact on the contrary, the main idea of bitcoin is to hold for a longer period of time, it's not like altcoins that you just buy and expect to make profit in short period of time.

44
Wallets are always safer to hold and store your bitcoin, especially the hardware wallets, those are believe to be the safest, but if you must use an exchange, then it should be a Decentralized exchange not a centralized exchange.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: wanna invest in Bitcoin, the best time is now
« on: December 22, 2023, 11:04:56 PM »
I agree that prices today might be lower than what we have in the future so I think it is the best time to buy now and leave it for a while or long term. Some people speculate the peice of Bitcoin may reach $120,000 in the future so if you buy today you might reap good profit tomorrow.
Of course bitcoin price would only get better and better as the day goes by,  Bitcoin has exceeded the point of crashing so yes we all have that confidence in bitcoin that our funds and investment are safe there, so anytime is the best time, you don't need to wait for the deep before you buy, you can buy anytime
