A lot of traders won't recommend trading if you're a newbie because the risk is so high. Maybe they can say that because they experienced it.

I see a lot of posts replies that discourage trading.

I just want to clarify that all profitable traders start from newbie and I believe that they also experience loses.

Common, where did you see a thread discouraging newbies from trading? Because the only threads I have come over here are saying newbies shouldn’t trade if they don’t have the knowledge of trading, it is obviously wrong practice to jump into something you don’t have sufficient knowledge about. Trading, however, is a different thing. It is not like investment, where even after investment you can be learning while you have already invested your money in crypto.

Crypto trading must be done by someone who has the knowledge and experience for you to be able to get a profit from trading. Trading carries a lot of risk, and without knowledge, there’s no way someone will be successful in it. Although we all know it’s natural to lose in trading, both beginners and professionals will lose, but if there is knowledge, the risk of losing will be minimized.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: A beginner’s guide on how to buy Bitcoin
« on: January 12, 2024, 11:07:49 AM »

Monitor Your Bitcoin Trades:

After executing a trade with BTC to INR or with any other trading pairs to buy Bitcoin, it's crucial to monitor its performance. Keep a close eye on the market and your trade to assess how it's performing.
These are good advices for a beginner, it will surely help the beginner in different ways but don’t you think seeking for knowledge will be the best thing to start from?
Learning is the foundation is everything, if the beginner take his time learn about Bitcoin and crypto, it will be better tha. Losing money due to ignorance.

Without knowledge many things will be impossible today, so the same thing with the crypto and bitcoin, whether trading or investing in them, knowledge is very important in this space. If there is no knowledge, there is no way we will be successful in our investment or trading.

Knowledge will be a guide for us in everything we do. Instead of us losing money due to ignorance, we rather lose due to how it works, which is constant as long as the crypto is concerned. Losing is natural, so mate, I believe that knowledge should be the first thing we should acquire before taking any further steps to invest or trade crypto.

As I am new here, I would like to know if this forum has a SuperNotifier just like Bitcointalk?
I ask this because I would like to add my account to a notifier just in case some one quote my post and other stuffs like to track a thread and a user.

We are still yet to get notifications on this forum. There are notifiers yet, but I’m sure they will provide them soon since the forum is active. I believe we are going to get some experts that will do that for us, although I understand that sometimes notifiers make us get some posts to reply to easily, so I’m sure the admin will do something to provide them. As he said earlier, he will look into it. So let's wait, as you can see that the BTT has a larger population than the ATT, so there are many experts there, and I hope they will join us soon and give us some good things they have provided for us there too.

I guess the admin should work on that so that whenever anyone that decide to set it is being quoted, the person will receive a notification on telegram. I guess it will make communication more easier, because after posting and you are being quoted, you will be able to reply to the post.

The admins have already spoken, and I believe we will soon start seeing some changes on this forum. As you can see, the admin is trying his best to attend to everyone on the forum to see the progress of everyone joining this forum because, seriously, the notifier is very good for us and it makes our communication easy, and we are going to be tracking some boards.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Do professional traders lose money?
« on: December 27, 2023, 11:19:32 PM »
Do professional And experienced traders lose money share your opinion on this

Loosing trading is constant no matter how expert you are, and not even by mistake, you must lose whether you like it or not. Unless you don’t trade, man, that is how it is. Naturally, sometimes you may make a wrong prediction that you will not be aware of till after you make such a mistake. Although we have stopped losing and using strategies will reduce the chance of losing, it will not completely take care of though, Both professional and novice losses. The only thing is to get the knowledge and skills so that the losses will not be too much.

Basic questions about this forum / Re: How to enable notification
« on: December 27, 2023, 11:11:06 PM »
Many people have complained about how hard it is to use this forum, and I believe that's because they don't take the time to read the rules carefully before posting

It’s very good if you bring this issue of notification to our attention. I don’t even know if there is something like this here too, although I have been wondering if there will be software we can be using, like BitcoinTalk, anytime there is a new thread or someone mentions you. We will always like to know so that we will read what they have said or been posted in the new thread.

However, I think this one you posted is not for all boards; I think it is just for maybe a single thread that when someone posts, we will see because it won’t be easy to browse the forum, so I think if we have such a notification here, it will be good and helpful too.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Hold vs trading what is better?
« on: December 16, 2023, 10:43:12 PM »
To hold or trade is good in a matter of time. The right time is what matters.

What do you think?

Although trading takes a short period of time when compared to hodling, it takes time to get to know how it works and how you can take advantage of the market when trading. While hodling is simple, you don’t need much time to spend in the market; you only buy and hodl for a certain period of time. When you make a profit, you sell the investment. Holding gives more profit than trading; it just takes more time than trading. When you hold on for a long time,.

So if I should choose from your subject,I will choose hodl I don’t like trading there is high risk there. And holding is safer than trading.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin: Could Anything Be More Magical Than This ?
« on: December 14, 2023, 09:19:27 PM »
@Blurr2.0, IMO, Bitcoin is not to be referred to as "magic money; even in a normal sense, it doesn't make much sense to rate it as what you have called it. Magic, which involves the use of some mystical powers, can transform something abruptly; secondly, gambling can luckily double a gambler's staked funds instantly (by luck), and they will abruptly get a very huge sum of money.

The fact that he calls bitcoin "magic money" suggests, in my opinion, that he does not understand cryptocurrencies. However, I think the OP should go understand how it works so he can familiarise himself with it, as everyone who ware of bitcoin knows that it is not magical and that you have to work hard to obtain it. Clearly, nothing you said can be compared to bitcoin, and based on what little you've said, I think the OP will understand what it is.

Quote
Even in the long run, some people could not hold their coin until the market was bullish. Some people, too, who didn't have very good knowledge about Bitcoin, experienced losses in their investment.

Yes, you are correct. People who lose money on bitcoin are those who can't hold onto their money for an extended period of time. However, before making an investment, one should understand how bitcoin and other cryptocurrency investments operate in order to prevent losing money and to take the necessary steps to succeed, like securing their coins and other necessities.
