I am not a person who does staking or earns on fixed APRS as I don't like fixed APY platforms. variables are good but to some extent but I still avoid staking. But joining Launchpool is always good as long as you have enough money. I once tried my luck in Binance it was a launch pool and I staked some BNB but earned nothing. I thought i might get some tokens from the launch pool but did not so I left the idea from that point. But never checked the launchpools of Bitget. What I have seen is many new airdrop projects are bringing their launchpools on Bybit and OKX mostly.

But I will also keep an eye on the Bitget as well. Thanks for sharing but still I will not advise anyone to join launchpools as getting fixed APY type things is not a moral thing in my point of view.

Launchpools can be good if the Requirements are favourable, just like you Binance launchpool didn't favour me cos of the high entry threshold(BNB) but with Bitget's it's been decent, APYs are Impressive, and with Poolx I get to earn tokens hourly with no risk. I love the competition

Re: Aside from SHIBA, DOGE, and WIF, which memecoin is in your portfolio?
None.
The meme coin that you shared isn't familiar with me as well.

I want to hold DOGE at some point, but I already said to myself that I will just buy it during the bear market when it happens 2 years from now possibly. Many doubted about SHIBA when it became a top coin (including me) saying that it will rug pull investors but look where it at right now. I don't follow the project, but the fact that it has been on the top for years already shows that it has a huge community behind it. WIF might be the next one that will do the same as what SHIB did. I might be wrong, but still, I will not buy any meme coins "AT LEAST FOR NOW".

Meme coins in general for me is like a "hit or miss" type of coin. You either make huge profits off of it, or you will lose possibly all of your capital investing on them.

Why not now? Now's not the perfect time?

In fact, I don't know and don't have WIF at all. For meme coins, to be honest I only have Doge and Shiba Inu. I don't know whether these two coins will later be able to print a new ATH compared to before or not. But what is certain is that I have a little to prepare. Yes, even though this may not be very significant, it can at least make an addition to my cryptocurrency portfolio.

So many people are talking about PEPE. is it that good? And is the potential that high because the price is still very small and the possibility of it increasing is quite large, they say so. I'm just not sure about that.

Pepe is good. Hit a billion market cap previously though. Imo well need some memes in our pf in the bull run .why not checkout Bitget memezone, I found KATT there & I'm already mining for free on poolX to earn hourly..

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you need to spend to earn?

Heard about similar concept from crypto dot com a while ago, so it's nothing new. But imo I think this is good for crypto adoption, as OP said it enables limitless spending. Just checked CMC and here's what I could find.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/blackcardcoin/ also noticed it's already trading on some decent platforms

Yeah, coins with these features definitely seem worth investing in. Apart from the fascinating features like card spending flexibility and staking models you mentioned, the price trend looks promising from the screenshot you sent. I might check it out; it could fit well into my portfolio for the upcoming bull run. By the way, which platform is that?

That's Bitget, and there's an ongoing poolX initiative to mine BCCOIN hourly. It's ending in about 72hrs...

The entire crypto market has been unfavorable since the halving, as predicted. However, some memecoins have maintained their bullish momentum. For instance, MANEKI (a Solana memecoin) has shown a bullish trend over the past few days. This has led me to believe that, similar to the last bull run, the next one might start with memecoins. I'm considering adding to my already stocked portfolio. I went to Twitter and found KATT trending, although it's on the Base chain and already trading on exchanges. I might look into it later. What new memecoin is catching your attention?

No, never had experience taking a loan, but as you have said there is a potential downside of taking a crypto loan like the one you mentioned. But maybe you can check this link: https://coinledger.io/tools/best-companies-for-crypto-and-bitcoin-loans

Broswing though that:
8% interest rate
more than 16% at the time of writing

so I went to Binance and they charge 10% for flexible rates, and.....god!!!!!!

So to get $1000 I need to deposit $1500 in crypto, I'm getting liquidated if a drop is larger than 15% and I'm paying 26% annualized interest, that's 3 times higher than a bank that would only ask me to have a job! Common.....
These are not loaning companies, this is loan shark material!

Don't know much about crypto loans but check this. https://www.bitget.com/earning/loan interest rate for BTC, eth, sol seems good imo.

Three days ago, I stumbled upon Meson Network ($MSN) announcing the availability of their token in the pre-market phase. This presents me with a chance to get in early on a project that I have followed and believed in for quite some time. But I'm new to this so still a bit sceptical.

Open to hearing your thoughts on this trading strategy and any cautionary advice you may have based on your own experiences with it.
My advice to you is to conduct your own research in depth before investing in any project. Pre-market tokens may be profitable sometimes, but they involve great risk. Even if you conduct a complete study of the project, you will not be able to know whether it will be successful or not.

In the end, the decision is yours. If you are someone who loves adventure and risk, I advise you to invest only in the amount that you can afford to lose. Do not invest with all your capital, otherwise you may regret it. Also, I repeat, do your own research before any investment and do not trust promoters.
You seem to have a lot of experience in the crypto space cos what you said is valid. I've also participated in pre market trading, but I did my research on the project, upon listing it went to $1 and I sold. Just did a quick search on MSN and figured out it's a dePIN project. They tend to do well recently, might poke more.

Meme Coins / Re: Does Good Luck Play a Role In Crypto?
« on: April 27, 2024, 08:17:42 AM »
Contrary to what you are asking @op, but possibly has something or some links to what you are talking about 😊
And it's that, this is the second time I am coming across this name and token (Maneki) today, I've never heard of this token or project before, but under 1 hour of coming online today, I've read two people talk about it..
First, I read about it on this This tweet from some one I respect so much.
Second, you (@op) mentioned same token on this thread, maybe this is a good sign/the universe way of telling me to invest in this token, I am confused 😕 right now 😭.

What do do?

Ahaha. Probably you should go for it. Heard about maneki from a Solana phone holder, he got $100 worth of the airdop, then I just saw this tweet. Went to X and saw it's already live on platforms. Asides trading, I'll sure participate in this drop, maybe I'll have some good luck charm😂😂

I am not familiar with this BlackCard and I am hoping that you can tell us more about it. Actually, I am not using any card when dealing with my cryptocurrency holdings as I really prefer P2P a lot better. Now, understand your concerns as you would like a way to directly use your cryptocurrency without the need to convert it into fiat money yourself and this is BlackCard can handily come in. And for the icing on the cake, there is a cashback program included for all users to enjoy so the more you spend or use the card the more savings you can accumulate. That is a good idea and can be an effective promotional move for people to get more into crypto. I am just hoping that this can be a real deal and will not be another project that can end up defrauding the users instead of working for them. Pleas share us some details here so we can evaluate and decide of the merits of this product.

Could this mean I'll have more freedom with my assets across different platforms?
I'm really curious to see if BRC20 DEX Exchange could change the way I trade online

I have checked Coingecko and some other market metrics if I can see some any new Dex about BRC20 and I didn't see anyone, did you have anyone or this discussion is a proposed discussion on how to developed one for BRC20 tokens? If it's, then we are going to see more clug on mempool because trading on Dex means activity of Bitcoin will increase and more transaction will be waiting on the mempool for confirmation and that will make transaction speed more slower than already the way it's.

Seems it's a new concept and I could only find few details about it myself here. https://www.coincarp.com/events/brc-20dex-new-listing-on-bitget/ they aim to signify and improve defi trading

DeFi tokens / What's liquid restaking?
« on: April 25, 2024, 07:41:03 AM »
I've been seeing mentions of liquid restaking recently, but I don't quite get it. Can someone who's knowledgeable about the topic explain it to me? What are the benefits and drawbacks of liquid restaking?

42
The best thing right now for those who bought Bitcoin early at good prices is to continue with the holding strategy until Bitcoin gets a new ATH which is expected to be around the corner.

For those who have not bought yet can buy some Bitcoin with each correction because it is still a fairly good opportunity to buy yet since we expect the ATH to be around 100-150k$.

You should also be careful of fluctuations during the coming period, so anyone who does not have much experience in trading is better off just watching.

Thanks for the tip. Same applies to alts?

Hey folks, been thinking. As we enter into the bull run. What are they safe practices you'll be adhering to in order to maximize profits? Kindly share below let's have a discussion

This deserves a poll, for me, I always go for the utility trend concepts, and hype on a project will come to pass and this kind of coin will become a thing of the past, but if you have a utility that benefits the community it will generate support and investment that will equate to market presence and will have a good long term value in the market.

And about the token you mentioned I haven't encountered but if it has value then go for it since you mentioned that they launched 2018 and they have a good standing in the market.

Same here. Seems it's about decentralized privacy data solutions..I'm reading more about it here. https://www.bitget.com/academy/what-is-ontology-ong-and-how-does-it-work from what I can read so far, utility project like this is definitely better than memecoins

Decentralised applications are an integral part of the crypto space as I've found over the years. Through time, alot of these have been built.

As time goes, most frameworks have come forth with well crafted strategies for developing Dapps via Layer 1 blockchains and the dual proof of stake consensus mechanism.

I find this very interesting and I'm looking out for projects tailored along this line, any suggestions I'd research on??

OMNI fits your criteria.. it's a L1 Blockchain powered by dual proof of stake. https://www.bitget.com/academy/what-is-omnicat-omni-and-how-does-it-work
