The massive decline of interest in investing in cryptocurrencies is to be expected after all the hype has died down.
Many investors were left with huge losses after a lot of projects were unable to deliver their promises according to their roadmap.

We will have to wait and see if the regulations will help increase the demand on cryptocurrency.
What is clear to me right now is that many investors prefer investing in a regulated market.

I just check coinmarketcap and the $3,400 support level which some thought would be the bottom has finally been broken. If you are still thinking about some kind of a bull run in the next two weeks, then it is probably a good idea to go take an early holiday vacation.

A lot of people said that when Bitcoin dropped to $10,000 from $20,000.
Another group said the same when BTC dropped to $5,000.

While it is true that the current value seems low because of its ATH, I will never be certain that the price will never be this low again in the future.

If the price drops lower to say $1,000, many people will also say this line "This opportunity will not last forever because the market will certainly have to recover and make another bull run" or something that is similar.

I believe in the potential of Bitcoin but I can never be sure that it will not end. Nobody can tell what the future holds.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Will Bitcoin Ever Rise Again?
« on: December 14, 2018, 01:30:43 AM »
Yes Bitcoin has been on a continuous decline but I would like to believe that it is only because last year's pump was out of hype and FOMO. That being said, I think it will rise again but this time it will be because of its real value.

I cannot tell what will be the bottom.
As of now, the bottom appears to be at $3,400. It's been moving sideways for a few days.
There has been a few breakout attempts but the resistance is quite strong.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal?

I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies. ~snip~

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

Although relatively few, there are already business establishments and some individuals who accepts bitcoin as payment of goods or services. If the goal is to be an alternative to fiat, then yes that has been achieved.

Bitcoin is another cryptocurrency.
In case Bitcoin dies, other cryptocurrency will take its place as long as the technology (blockchain) is still here.
There will probably a huge effect on the entire market because of its current dominance but it will only be temporary.

They may do so if they will shutdown the internet in their country but that's never going to happen.
The use of cryptocurrency as a means of payment cannot be banned completely.
Government can only ban trading on exchanges or other platforms where crypto can be converted to fiat.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What Will The Future Of Bitcoin Be?

Can you please clarify if you are referring to the value of Bitcoin? If it is, would it not be better if you can specify a timeline instead of simply saying future?

Basic questions about this forum / Re: Post and Points
« on: December 12, 2018, 06:44:07 PM »
I just read the rule on post and points. This is I think different.

Can I ask more details about this rule?
"Posts under a certain amount of words are no longer counted into the count post, as this forum grow older, this amount of words will be increased"

There are no details on how many words before a post is counted.
