Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bounty and KYC, any benefits?
« on: September 03, 2018, 05:56:58 PM »
A lot of bounty hunters really hate KYCs. What are developers and managers doing about this issue? Do you even think that KYC is needed at all? What are the benefits of this?

If you are the manager/founder, would you want to pay bounty hunters that are abusing the system? Let's face it, there are some that cheats and KYC is the best way to weed them out. If you do not agree, move to other campaigns. Simple as that.

I prefer low market cap coins/tokens with active team and a decent community. One that I have been holding for a while now is the Equal Token.

What are the strategies that you use for take more profit whether you are in short term trading or long term trading ?

It is a very risky strategy but it could give you good gains if you time it well. Get updates from crypto news or in cryptocalendar. Usually, events are announced few days earlier, buy some of their coins/tokens and sell before event happens.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How do you choose good ICOs?

Here are some of the guides I use in choosing ICO's
1. Use case
2. Team
3. Community
4. Prototype or MVP (each project should have this one before asking for crowdfunding)

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is KYC necessary for bounty?
« on: September 03, 2018, 05:44:33 PM »
The whole idea of cryptocurrency was built on anonymity. How then is that lot of ICOs and bounty programs are requiring KYC before they pay bounty hunters. Or are they collecting data of people to sell to phishing sites or the dark web?

There is that risk of identity theft also. Bu I think KYC is mainly done for protection. If you are not comfortable with it, just move to another campaign and wait for those coins/token to be listed on exchanges.

"But it is also and always safe to keep money in crypto as it can also generate a lot of profit as you hold for long term with the intention of saving."

Provided that you have invested in quality altcoins and you timed your entry well.

Your list is more likely referring to cryptocurrency to invest into for long term and not necessarily for trading.

Hey, what strategy do you use when you are investing? Please share with us and lets rock it to the moon. Thank you in advance for sharing with us the strategy you use in investing.

Nothing beats the buy low, sell high. Of course you need to do some reading before buying into a certain project and stay updated on developments.

That is some forecasting hahaha. They should put a wager on this just like McAffee on his bitcoin forecast.

What is the latest update on this one? It would be interesting to know the developments.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Altcoins future
« on: September 03, 2018, 05:12:39 PM »
What do you think about alts future? I strongly believe in Eth , because it provides solutions to different problems. Others only copy eth’s idea in order to raise some money. We don’t need 2000+ alts, just 10 and it will be enough. What u think?

I am not sure about 10, that's too limited in my opinion. Although I understand that there are too many out there with similar use cases. Many current altcoins will die and many will be created as well. I just hope that the new ones will be better and will have real use cases.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Managers are not superhuman
« on: September 03, 2018, 05:09:23 PM »
Some blame the managers if the project went into unsatisfactory ending. Some desperate participants look the manager as not human.
Some says the manager is the most person to blame with unfortunate.
Some expected the manager to finished the work in a days.
If the manager couldn't contain their emotion, I don't know what they can do, but fortunately to delayed the result if necessary.

* we should not forget that manager is also a human that have a limit and weaknesses. Let us also consider their situation. It does not mean to pampers them but it means it seems we are also elite person.  ;D ;D

* be good and and have patients.
Some understand the situation.
Thanks to us.

People who have not experienced leading a group usually complains but those who had the experience understands and try to offer solutions if there are problems.

To be honest, I read white paper in rare cases as a rule they are similar and there is a lot of chatter

You can just skim thru various whitepapers and separate the ones that you'll read again later.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Too many air drops.
« on: September 03, 2018, 05:01:32 PM »
There are too many air drops these days and i am wondering why these new projects put a whole lots of efforts to bank on these drops. Fortunately, a friend told me it a means to raise awareness for their crypto-currency project. Any other reasons for this air drops. Thank you

No other reason but to raise awareness about a certain project. It is a marketing strategy.

Most bounty hunters do not actually perform studies on the project to ascertain its level of success, hence, do not know the true potentials of most of the coins they receive at the end of the bounty program. Also, because bounty hunters do not invest their monies, they tend to sell at any price on the market and never feel any sense of loss.

1. Because of liquidity issues.
2. Strategy - sell while it's higher then accumulate again once price goes down
3. Because it may be worthless in the future. Sell while it still has value.
