Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you a victim of the word HOLD?
« on: October 28, 2018, 03:44:10 PM »
I have once been a victim of this word hold, I was holding one of the coins without knowing they are pure scam, all of a sudden, the team ran away and stopped the project.

Is there any techniques or tricks to predict the future price

Some people do predict rightly but 2018 has made many of the predictions a false one because of the bear market, so I really don't see how these things are working.

378
It is really not an easy one to pick out which project is a scam or not. I think we only have to begin to read the white paper and check what team is behind what project before participating in the bounty.

I would say bounty is also a kind of investment any thing that will take your time and requires you put in some effort, that is investment because time is money.

Even in 2030, no altcoin will replace Bitcoin, maybe some 50 years to come before that can be possible.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Fake team VS no team on ICO.

Both of this is a high risk, No team is like investment without knowing any one to ask question in case of any issue. While fake team is a proper and clear scam.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is Africa a good place for crypto?
« on: October 27, 2018, 05:20:29 PM »
Africa market is a good place for cryptocurrency, they just need some level of sensitisation and they will comply, currently there are some massive adopters especially the African biggest investment market 'Nigeria'.

Website http://sidecrypt.info/b/163 gives a bonus of 0.03 bitcoin in honor of the anniversary of the site.
Use promo code: WESTCRYPTBONUS (+ 0.03 BITCOINS)

You can withdraw this bonus immediately to your Bitcoin address.
But I recommend trying your luck at roulette.
I recommend to bet at least 0.01 bitcoin.

At the second attempt, I managed to win 0.1827 bitcoins at roulette.
Then I successfully removed 0.1827 Bitcoin to my Bitcoin wallet.
This site really honestly pays.
You can be sure of this.

I see, newbie. Who have told you this big lie. There is nothing in this world that is free. Even Airdrop requires some task to get paid.

Cryptocurrency has been way back risky, but it is becoming risky the more. The only thing most people are calling on is regulation, and I believe it will solve many risk issues we are facing today.

385
From the topic, I think this is depending on the project you invest on. Some upcoming projects are very good, while some are nothing to write home about.

386
There are several ways to earn money in cryptocurrency, my ways are; Airdrop, Bounty, Trading and off course ICO investment.

Hi manager, I am interested in this bounty campaign but few things I want you to clarify me on;

1. Where can I see spreadsheet with participants?
2. When will this bounty end?
3. Will I need to pass KYC to participate in this bounty?

Thanks.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How to reply to this argument
« on: October 26, 2018, 10:15:25 AM »
Some of those so-called economic experts say:
“Cryptocurrencies have no intrinsic value,” they say. “Their market price will fall to zero,”

Anyway I will understand this as a way people speak when they feel about a product, so called economic experts say so because they don't have interest in cryptocurrency and in the other side, those who are singing the praises of crypto are those who want more people to take part in the cryptocurrency innovation.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Long term investment vs. Hold
« on: October 26, 2018, 10:11:28 AM »
I had severally come across these two words in crypto ecosystem but unfortunately, there seems to be the same in meaning, long term investment and Hold. Now, i think that long term  investments are assets that are held for more than one year. While "Hold", simply means holding coin even when it is crashing, you must have faith that the particular coin you hold will go up in value at some time in the future, probably 1year or more. What are your ideas. Thanks

You have a point but in my understanding, Long term investment is a king of investment on do with time frame set before selling, and long term varies between individuals, some people can call 8months long term, while some will call 18months long term.

The word Hold is a a pattern of keeping your investment waiting for a target return before selling, in this case you can sell at anytime the value of your investment get to your targeted profit.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you have a goal ?
« on: October 26, 2018, 10:04:34 AM »
Is it important to set a goal when investing crypto ?
I think this an important issue . many guys don't set a goal before they start trading and that is why many of them lose .

Anyone on earth that does not have a goal will find it difficult to succeed in life, the person will be like some one who does not have principle wherefore live by whatever people tell and in direction of others.

Just as you pointed out, many people in the crypto business they don't set a goal for themselves that is why they easily FOMO.
